You can also choose the buffet option for kids at a lesser price. They had everything your heart desires for breakfast. I was particularly happy about the fresh juices and the dairy free coconut chia pudding. My son loved the fresh individual berries. Tucked inside Loews Miami Beach Hotel, Preston's Market is an all day restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner on most days. On a recent stay at the hotel, Preston's was our breakfast spot on check out morning. They have a decent breakfast menu that features all the classics, plus a few house specialties such as frittatas, steak/eggs and avocado toast. However, they also feature a full breakfast buffet with all of their listed menu items, with the exception of the items above. The buffet featured a bread/pastry station, fruit/salad, charcuterie, cereal, eggs, meats, potatoes, French toast, pancakes and an omelet station...all for $39.00. If you are indecisive and quite hungry, this is definitely the best option. Service was great and the wait for seating was minimal. The hostess sat us immediately in this beautiful decorated dining room. (overheard someone say it was recently remodeled.) I'm not a breakfast person but if you are they have everything you want. The staff is constantly replenishing the stations. I wanted a bagel that wasn't out at the time. As I was trying to figure out a replacement, staff member got me the one I wanted. I wanted it toasted and just like that toasted bagel with a smile. I forgot that I'm from North Jersey and Florida bagels just don't cut it. ( I ate most of it) I was surprised they had a buffet. Food: excellent! I have a gluten intolerance so sometimes it's hard to find a good dish on the menu but this was awesome. I got the egg white frittata: Gluten free, flavorful, packed with protein. I ate breakfast there and it was well worth the wait. Service: painfully slow. They were very nice but ignored our party of three for what felt like forever. It may have been a misunderstanding as at some point they came up and asked us if the rest of our party was coming (there were two other seats at the table). But they were still slow still after that so who knows. Ambiance: pretty nice feeling inside, clean, plenty of space and a little more elevated and coastal feeling. We went here for breakfast (we were staying at the Loews Hotel) and we were pleasantly surprised! We sat outside and had a lovely view of the pool area. Our waiter, Pedro was amazing. he knew that I had a bad night's sleep (we had to get our room changed b/c we could head the people in the next room talking b/c it was an adjoining room), so he brought my husband and I complimentary mimosas! He also brought my tween son extra bottle water b/c the water he gave him had a flavor (he didn't care for it). The food was amazing- b/w eggs need it, pancakes, eggs and fruit salad and of course. coffee- we could not have been happier! It was worth every penny! No rush. Pleasant atmosphere. Don't recommend bad service. The host her name is Tiffany deciding by herself who to let in or who not to. I was staying at Loews that where this restaurant is actually located wanted my morning coffee and sit on a terrace to enjoy it. She decided that it's not enough she said that people who are inside eat an actual breakfast... I wonder if the owner of the restaurant knows that some Tiffany is making a pretty much a business decision involving his money making, cause he didn't make money on coffee and I was going to have a breakfast after, but definitely not at "Tiffany's" place... :( read more

Food is just average compared to other options at Miami South Beach. I ordered lobster Benedict which comes with 2 poached eggs. Both egg yolks were totally solid. It's the first time that I ever tried a poached egg that is solid inside. Hollandaise sauce was a bit too sour. And also, 20% service charge is mandatory. read more

We ordered because my wife and I would not eat enough to warrant the $33 per person. My wife got the egg omelette which she was pleased with. Service was decent. I forget the name of the meal but it was two eggs sunny side up with cheese, shredded chicken, avocado and nacho chips. I assumed it was like a burrito or taco type enchilada but it was not. Convenience factor of this restaurant: 100%. It's located inside the LOEWS Miami beach hotel on the ground level, a few steps past the hotel's open wall cocktail lounge. With the ordeal of Miami taxi transportation or getting a good dose of humidity as you walk to your restaurant destination; this spot saves a serious amount of time. However, this place is arguably pricey and some of the staff are negligent. For the breakfast buffet, it will set you back $30 per person. The buffet options were basic - not as ample or varied as you might find at a Vegas breakfast buffet. I was taken by surprise with how mediocre, oily, stale or dry everything tasted. Their juice bar is the only thing to write home about. There was also a DIY bagel bar, simple muffin and bread selection, some dried out lox, basic omelette bar, cereal, oatmeal, fresh berries, yogurt, an array of pre-cooked items sitting under a heat warmer: dry mini pancakes, dry waffles, dry French toast, bacon, super oily sausages, stale fries, eggs Benedict somewhat dried out and hard, and also scrambled eggs on the verge of being over cooked and dry. You have the option to sit on their outdoor patio overlooking the pool with the tiniest view of the ocean, or you can sit inside, protected from the extreme humidity and heat elements. We decided to sit inside. Our server was enthusiastic and helpful, but I had an unfortunate run in with a very agitated buffet line worker. I had decided on their fresh pressed juices since it was available with our $30 buffet purchase and looked better than their other offerings (plus, I needed a serious detox from all of the late Miami nights and early mornings!) however, I wasn't informed that the juice bar closes down in the middle of breakfast buffet service once they start to run out of ingredients and produce. Ready to order my juice, I was told they were closed, which had me frustrated since that was why I agreed to do the breakfast buffet in the first place. After pleading to her that I was not informed about the juice bar operations she rolled her eyes and told me she will make anything that does not have green produce since she's "all out of that". Her body language and tone said it all. I said that's totally fine! And I ordered a few carrot, citrus and juices with spices. The juices tasted decent, but I was really offended by her initial "I'm closed and I don't want to help you attitude" so the whole juice bar ordeal put a major negative experience at this restaurant. Just ate here and have to say that this was one of the best buffets that I have ever experienced. Friendly greeting upon arrival. Asked for outdoor seating, which is actually not open air but provides views of the fantastic pool. As soon as we sat down our lady server greeted us and immediately offered beverages. She made us feel at home instantly. We had been shown the buffet by the hostess and we knew that was what we wanted. You can order off the menu also. We went to the omelette station and the gentleman made me "the whole nine yards" omelette. I had everything they could offer and I am glad I did. Then had both bacon, sausage and potatoes on one plate and a pancake and 3 pieces of French toast on another big plate. I then returned to gather fruit, pastry, bread. And fresh squeezed orange juice and coffee was provided by the most wonderful waitperson. There were many more options that were available but I ran out of room. I guarantee that this is one of the finest buffets going on in Covid times. Eating and drinking coffee looking over a resort pool. This is vacation. I cannot say enough about this establishment. Our waiter, who proudly displayed on his name tag that he was from Pembroke Pines was really good. He was on top of it and funny to boot! I wish i could remember his name so I could give him a shoot out, he took this from a 3 star to a 4 star experience. I guess b/c so many places automatically include tip on their checks that I just assUme I'm going to get HORRENDOUS service, but our guy stepped it up a notch. We were down at the Loew's for a business convention and were having a business lunch-yay! I ordered a Greek salad, dressing on the side, grilled chicken (moist and not overcooked), 2 others ordered the Caesar (it's a large sized salad), one ordered the Salmon (there wasn't a bite left on her plate), BLT (she only ate half but said it was delicious), and lastly a wrap of some sort that was 3 times the size of a stuffed burrito and came with a side salad. I work across the street and have been here several times over the years for Spice lunches. Preston's never fails to deliver. The room is lovely, albeit slightly "hotel generic", but the menu is top notch, as is the service. You can sit inside or out, and if you opt for outside, you get some nice steel drums to accompany your meal. The Spice menu for 2014 is truly standout. I had the blue crab and watermelon salad, which came with a tangy citrus dressing and a tangle of argula. The watermelon was grilled and that preparation just really made the dish. I followed it up with the whole grilled snapper. The fish was cooked perfectly with herbs inside, and arrived at the table (mostly) deboned. Accompaniments were grilled asparagus and tomato, and the whole thing had a buttery lemon sauce. Larry S. had the short rib grilled cheese and truffle fries. It was a large enough portion that he couldn't finish the fries, even with me assisting! We shared the Nutella fritters and creme brulee for dessert and both were equally delicious. The creme brulee had a really nice vanilla taste to it. What keeps it from being 5 stars is that it is very expensive if you are not there during Spice or with an expense account. But the service is great and the food is exquisite! read more

The buffet had a great selection of fruits, cakes, meats, eggs, etc. pretty much everything you can expect from a nice hotel. We were able to seat outside with a nice view on the pool and some fresh air. Drinks were ok except our Mimosa, very sour. Two downsides: - Our server thought it would be smart to add a 20% gratuity on our check. It was only 4 of us and this didn't make sense, we won't come back for this reason - Valet Parking is $36 with an *amazing* $9 discount if you eat at the restaurant, insane. read more

Ok - i m conflicted on this one, but settled on a 2. I would have picked 2.5 if it was available. The good: - the food, the fish tacos and snapper were very good - ambiance, take your choice on inside dining and the patio overlooking the pool. The bad: - the service, the waiter was unsmiling, and at some point he just ignored us, in fact he avoided us, we received our cappucino and then waited and waited for our dessert. It was anything fancy either - a chocolate tart with salted caramel ice cream - we waited about 20 minutes for that tart, and drank our coffee before it even came. The capper? The tart was tasteless. - also they levied a 20% tip on the bill, which was brought out to us by another waiter. Great handoff - not!!!! I expect more of a Loews! I had actually been checking it out as a potentially place to stay as we really like vacationing here, but if they run everything like this - methinks I'll take a pass. read more

Staying at loews hotel for our Anniversary we wanted to come here our second day for dinner but they were closed for a private party so we ate in the middle area where the Big screen tv is our was server very nice and attentive she suggested there special scallops I ordered that my husband got the grilled chicken...I loved my dish scallops well seasoned I even tasted the black rice that came with it it too was delicious I recommend this spot in the hotel as well will include picks. read more

Just got here a few hours ago and had our first meal of breakfast in Miami and it was very good. Buffet is the way to go at $33 per head plus tip versus ordering off menu a la cart sfor nice most entrees cost $15-$20 each without drink and dessert. Stayed my at Lowe's hotel while here and am happy so far. Staff is very attentive throughout and I would recommend it if you're staying at the hotel. read more

We have been coming to Loews For years for Spring Break and due to Pandemic we missed couple of years.. We always have breakfast at Preston's and this time around the waiting was way longer than usual. The place was packed and busy. We were seated by Frances. Our Server was Juan. Juan's area was Full On Busy but yet he's able to offer us our beverages upon seating. Juan asked if we could give him couple of minutes. That couple of minutes, Juan moved from table to table without skipping a beat. Bringing drinks, carrying plates, greeting other guests etc etc. Juan was in the zone. When he came back to us, we told him, looks like you're the one that needs breakfast. He said laughing " I would love to sit and shoot the breeze with you guys".. And asked where we're visiting from, when we said New York, He said "Of course, you guys are semi-locals" Juan had Great Personality, Great Service, Great Energy all in all. He's just himself, and as a New Yorker, we appreciated that. Our interactions with him certainly made up for our long wait for a table and other not so great experiences within the hotel. We look forward to seeing Juan again sooner than next year's Spring Break. read more

Let's start with, the food is delicious, the staff friendly and helpful. I am happy that they offered Miami Spice special because it would be pricey otherwise. They had three different options for appetizer, entree and dessert. It was a struggle to choose, and I wish I had more friends with me to taste everything. Anyway, I had the arrugala, kale & quinoa salad for appetizer, snapper with ratatouille for entree and chocolate tart with ice cream for dessert. I could not finish my dessert because I was beyond full. So why not the five stars? Their table placements did not leave room for people to move so more than once other patrons were sitting on my table. There were a lot of undisciplined children running around that took away from the eating experience. For a late Friday seating, I was surprised to see so many kids. Though the children are really their parents fault, I think it is a higher risk of this turning into a Chucky Cheese if the restaurant doesn't establish a 'put your kids on a leash' policy. Overall, I will return; I will recommend. One tip, ask for seating on the sides or back to reduce the traffic from sitting on your lap. read more

Visiting friends at the Lowes we needed a quick bite for lunch and settled for the in house hotel choice "Prestons' rather than a walk down Ocean Drive. Interior and exterior seating available here with the interior very modern elegance for a Generic Hotel restaurant. Outside seating is wrapped around with the majority of tables with view of the pool or ocean. I noticed several fire pits that I assume are lit during the evening on cool nights though they are few and far between in South Florida. Menu for lunch is extremely limited with a few starters, salads, burgers and sandwiches. Server was shall we say Just slow. Never really checked back on us much and took forever to get a drink or simply refill a club soda. We just had a few things that were actually all well prepared and tasty but portions were small and the prices extremely expensive for the type of meal. Chicken wings were average with nothing really to mention here. Burger was ok but $24.00 even at the Lowes is a bit nuts. Basket of Fries did come with it.. but lets get serious. The Cuban Burger which is really Shredded beef, with cheese, mustard and pickles and Arugula was actually delicious with more fries. Again service was spotty and gratuity included as with all these high end South Beach establishments. $9.00 discount on your Valet if you dine here.. WOW only $23.00 for 2 hours of valet parking :) All and all I guess if I were staying at the Lowes or visiting It's fine, but with the high prices, Valet costs there are certainly better places even in South Beach which I detest going to by the way. read more

The restaurant is beautiful and conveniently located inside Lowe's Hotel. The food was delicious. We sat outside facing the pool area and at night, beneath the towering palm trees and ocean mist, it is breathtaking. I always find it strange though when I come to a classy restaurant and then have a waiter who has little class. At the very start of our meal, the waiter asked us where we are from and we replied "Brooklyn, NY." He seemed a little surprised, then told us he was from there too and then went on to talk about his hard life in the ghetto. He then told us "I'm sure without a doubt you guys are from the wealthiest part of Brooklyn where life is so easy, not where I am from." He made this comment more than once...enough to make us uncomfortable. I'm pretty sure he wouldn't want anyone to assume you he is poor and uneducated. Brooklyn is so expensive now anyway I'm not even sure which affluent part he is referring to? The whole borough is overpriced! Whoever thought Manhattan would be a bargain? Went with a crowd and generally people were happy with their food choices; the chicken and waffles and burgers were complimented although I did not taste them. I had ropa vieja, a Cuban/Puerto Rican sandwich of shredded pork that I've had before and liked. This was not so good. It came with fries that were sprinkled with herbs that I did not care for either. One of my companions had sweet potato fries that were served plain. I came to Preston's with my husband for dinner. I wanted to have the organic chicken but they informed us that they were out of it. So instead I opted for the chicken Alfredo and the hubby for the pomodoro with chicken. The food itself was ordinary and very generic. The service was good. Nothing out of this world that would make me pay $29 again for a chicken Alfredo. However, the valet recommended a restaurant that is right next door which he says is amazing. While I attended, with pals, a Spice dinner I know I'll soon be back. Located in the back of the Loews (which has to have the strangest front desk set-up) is a nice comfortable restaurant (could use more lighting) that serves up all kinds of sumptuous goodies - and in rather large proportions! I dined on a lobster mac and cheese appetizer that could easily have served as its own meal and then tackled the short rib ravioli - golly was that rich and delicious. Preston's also has a do-able wine list where I was able to scout out a yummy Malbec at @ $45.00 which isn't too shabby when you see what some of these south beach restaurants can charge. We also had a very companionable waiter who was quite knowledgeable about the menu and wine list - a very pleasant dining experience. read more
