We went here with the entire family for Mother's Day, I'm glad we did. The service was great. The outside seating area is very relaxing. The order in which the food came out was perfect, nice slow pace so we didn't feel like they were kicking you out soon. Drinks were rolling the whole time. Great great experience. Went there with a group for lunch. Everyone except two of us ordered personal pizzas. I ordered a pepperoni with thick crust and the other person ordered the thin crust Tuscan pizza. Tuscan Pizza: We were looking for the box of saltine crackers the chef used to make the pizza considering the crust had the texture of the kind you buy in bulk from wholesaler. Tuscan pizza USUALLY has lots of tomatos and spinach piled on them. Apparently not Bella Milanos. Four squishy slices of tamots and eight strips of spinach laid on top of the tomatos. BIG DISAPPOINTMENT for the guy who ordered it. The whole table felt sorry for him. Pepperoni PIzza: Good crust, plenty of mozeralla and sauce. VERY short on pepperoni. After seeing the Tuscan, I thought to look under the cheese on mine and discovered two slices of pepperoni-making eight slices for the personal pizza. Taste was good, but very short on pepperoni. Other Meals: Mostacelli was warm to cold. It was almost as if the pasta was in the fridge from the night before and they threw it in the microwave to warm it up. Tortellini was very good-the exception for the day. Waitress: Very friendly and service oriented. Price: Way too much for a casual lunch. The chef's special for the day was $13.00. Expect to pay alot for lunch. You can get away with those prices in Ladue or Clayton. Won't be back on even on someone else's buck. read more

I don't know why some of the reviews have been bad, the food I had was very good and the service was reasonable along with the atmosphere. So why am I not giving it five stars. They need to pay attention to the floor and run a vacuum on it to get the stuff that falls off the tables. It wasn't dirty it just needed one good sweep. But as for the food you get five stars. read more

Recently my husband and I celebrated our 50th anniversary in the Tuscan Room with 60 friends and family. We worked with four of the managers, Steve, James, Erica, and Kate to plan a magnificent evening with fantastic food and three excellent servers. Everyone was so attentive and professional. Our guests chose from a list of 6 different entrees from the entire menu, and no one went home hungry or disappointed. Delicious. Went here for lunch last weekend. I got the butternut squash risotto with the Milano salad. It was perfect. My grandmother got the Panko Encrusted Salmon with flash fried spinach. If you sign up for their email you will receive a free entree up to 20$ convienently no entree on the menu is under 21 but still a nice gesture. Highly recommend for a nice night out! My wife and I have been here a couple of times and always enjoy our experience. They have quite an extensive menu and we never leave disappointed with whatever we order. Our favorite part of this restaurant is the pacing by the waitstaff. There is always just a slight amount of time between the appetizers, salads, and entrees so you never feel rushed to leave at the end of the meal. They are even happy to have you stick around for a couple extra glasses of wine after the meal is complete. It's a little pricey compared to other restaurants in the area, but you'll be happy with your experience at the end of the meal! read more

I really want to like this Bella Milano's, as I do the other ones in Edwardsville and Springfield. I ordered the dirty martini for the Monday special. It is no longer call your brand, it is now $5.00 for well, but that's ok. The blue cheese olives were not tasty at all. I ordered the mushroom, sausage flat bread on the appetizer menu and it just wasn't tasty. It was loaded with sausage, which I didn't care for as well as mushrooms. I ate half of it and ordered their salad. The famous salad has to be great, right? The salad was tasty but the prosciutto was hard like a really tough beef jerky. I was staying about 5 minutes from this Bella Milano's. I wish that I had driven about 30 minutes to the Edwardsville restaurant. I have been to the Edwardsville and Springfield restaurants about 5 times each and every time it has been outstanding. The bartenders were very nice and attentive but that's about the only good on this, my last visit, at this location. read more

Ate at Bella Milano in O'Fallon late yesterday afternoon. Food was good and service was great. Ambiance was nice too. Nice for special occasions but still family friendly. Unfortunately because I ordered a chefs special my meal was $24, full price, while other entrees could be had at the "early diner discount" price. My diner was a simple pasta in wine sauce containing onions and cherries and it came with a salad. Good but not worth the higher price. read more

The three stars are for very good service!! Other than that, the food is Olive Garden quality with St. Louis On the Hill prices. Bread is mediocre, cheese is on just about every dish, and what you pay for you don't get a lot of it. It's all about their Martini Mondays! I'm a big fan of their pomegranate martinis and they are $5 on Mondays. Food is not bad. Had a really good salmon dish here that I would get again. Pastas are OK and are typically too large for me to eat in one sitting. Service is good. They provide bread and olive oil and vinegar to dip in. read more

I have nov idea why anybody would rate this restaurant below 4 stars. The food and service is excellent. We eat here at least twice a month. Highly recommended! Milano salad is incredible. I love the Edwardsville location and gave this location a try. Wonderful meal, as always. This location seems to do a variety of appetizer specials on the weekend, which was great. I loved the mussells and flatbread on special. We dined in one of the private rooms, which was really nice, but we are looking forward to going back and enjoying the outdoor patio when the weather gets nicer. read more

Had the Kenwood Pinot Noir and it was just okay. Food was good. Salad as always awesome. Tiramisu was very soggy not really a fan.

The food is excellent!! I haven't been disappointed yet. Their bread is served with olive oil, Parmesan and cracked black pepper. Their house salad is absolutely delicious and their selection of entrees keep me from being able to make any kind of quick decision. Went there after a long day on the road and sat at the bar. Started with trio appetizer which was a meal itself. Calimari, zucchini and ravioli for $10. The plate was huge. You never get another chance to make a first impression. The food is excellent and well worth the price. However, the booths are set too close together, and the backs are ramrod straight, so get a table if you want to be comfortable--but only the booths have light, so you either need to be skinny or like eating in the dark. The waiter we had hovered and talked too much. Really, the restaurant needs to just print their specials on a card and let people read them rather than make their staff recite them at every table. Friday night, approximately 8:15 pm. 65% to 70% capacity. Recieved drinks, appetizer, bread, and salads in timely fashion. Service was slow for entree. Two plates of the Chicken Modiga. Companion had a couple of "nasty" spots in the chicken. I found 1 grisly piece of prosciutto. Overall I enjoyed mine, though I always find it a little salter than some others. Side of asparagus was great. I could have eaten another dozen Spears. Companion stated hers was "not as good as usual". Bella Milano is always a bit pricey, but meal was still in the "worth the cost" range. read more

Right away, we loved our server Rebecca M. aka Becka. She was very knowledgeable in the menu and their specials for the evening. I was a little finicky but they made everything right. We have been several times and each time are very impressed. The food is fantastic as well as the employees. The salad with prosciutto makes your taste buds pop! And the homemade toasted ravs are some of the best around. We are excited to take our mothers there for a nice Sunday dinner in the near future and enjoy the incredible patio. In eat here frequently when we want a nice lunch or dinner, without the rush of a traditional chain-style restaurant. The atmosphere is classy and yet relaxed. For lunch, the crabcake sandwich is awesome, while I love the seafood ravioli at dinner. Always, the salad is one of the best Italian salads around anywhere. The servers are attentive and willing to accommodate special needs, even a friend who is gluten free (a challenge at Italian restaurants, to be sure). I really enjoy the wine list and the patio is awesome when the weather cooperates. I highly recommend giving Bella a try - much nicer than the chain restaurants in the area! read more

I LOVE this place and I have since I first tried it in college at their sister location in Edwardsville! Bella Milano is delicious. A few of my favorites are- homemade toasted ravioli (appetizer) , Milano salad, chicken stasilli, chicken Milano & beef Milano. They have daily specials that are offered as well. My family's fav's include, baked mostaccioli, smoked Gouda pasta, side dish of OBG (olive oil, butter, garlic pasta), and tortellini. Did you know that there is NO microwave at this restaurant? Everything is heated on the stovetop and nothing is zapped in the microwave to be heated up! Their kitchen is clean and orderly too. If you go there during lunch Monday - Saturday they have a 10/$10 lunch menu, it includes bread, your entree, a salad or soup and a tea for $10! It's a very reasonable price for a good lunch at a nice restaurant! Also on Monday Bella milano has $5 martinis and appetizers on a select menu. My favorite server is John, he takes care of his customers and is very personable and attentive! I highly Recommend this restaurant, well worth it! read more

On the date of our visit we were seated and after us a group of three women, two younger and one older, arrived and were seated near us. These ladies were dressed to the nines with one of them having her cups running over. After a short time the server, who was nice enough, arrived and everything he did was directed towards them first. Even though we were first we felt that we were not acceptable as customers. Our meal came out quite some time after their's arrived. We eat out at least once a day and most of the time twice a day every day, The chicken was very chewy, with the salads being good. We should have just gone to St Louis to Maggiano's to where we have never had bad service or food to date. I hope they tipped well because we usually tip at least 25% because I had worked in the food industry while in school. read more

Went to Bella Milano's FEb 20. Great ambiance, but the food was mediocre at best. I order a calzone with ham, sausage, mushrooms, and onions. The only think I could taste was the ricotta cheese. The 4 ingredients were almost non-existent. I had to aks if it had any ham. We also ordered a the seafood special. It was good. But f]if good is what your are afters go to Fazolie's. A higher end restaurant should be better than good. read more
