I've been coming here for a while and I genuinely like the nail techs, but my recent experience with management was really disappointing. I came in for two pedicures -- one regular polish ($30) and one cat eye, which I was told would be $10 extra. After we were already seated, there was no further explanation of pricing. When it came time to pay, I was charged $89 total. My regular pedicure was somehow $33, and my daughter's pedicure came out to $56. When I asked for clarification, the owner said she charged for a gel pedicure ($46) + $10 for cat eye, but this was never explained beforehand -- I was only told it would be $10 more. There was also no clear explanation for the extra $3 added to my pedicure. To make things worse, when I asked for a receipt, it wasn't itemized or clearly written, so I still couldn't fully understand the charges. I came here today for a gel pedicure and a regular polish manicure with acrylic tips.My daughter also got a gel pedicure. Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. There were three different people working on me one doing the acrylics, another painting my nails, and another doing my pedicure.The service felt rushed and unorganized. Nancy, who worked on my nails, had a very poor attitude throughout the appointment. My acrylics were messy, with product left on my skin, and no one bothered to clean them up.Even after I pointed out multiple times that my nail was stuck to my skin, nothing was done.I had to fix it myself when I got home. I also sat waiting for a long time while they tried to match my nail polish, and my nails were left looking dirty. No one even asked me to wash my hands after the manicure.I eventually had to ask if my appointment was finished because everyone was ignoring me. Another issue was the constant pressure to upgrade to gel polish.They repeatedly asked, "Why don't you do gel?" without mentioning that it costs extra.They only told me there was an additional charge after I specifically asked. The same thing happened with my almond shaped nails I was never told there would be a $5 upcharge until I questioned the total. I don't mind paying for upgrades or specialty shapes, but customers should be informed of all additional charges before the service begins, not after. The entire experience felt more focused on adding extra charges than providing good customer service. I left without tipping because I was genuinely unhappy with both the service and the quality of my nails. This place is TRASH! There's a mean man who works there, perhaps the owner, who the female staff call to take over their nail work if a client complains. The man always seems irritated and yells at clients. This was my experience. I gave the nail shop 3 tries, as I was desperate to get my nails done and was new to the area. The 1st time, my nails turned out okay. I went during the pandemic when nails were being done on the sidewalk. The 2nd time, the mean man was asked to finish my nails, since my paint job needed to be re-done. He told me that my nails looked fine, but they did not. My nails looked lumpy and bumpy, and they needed to look smoother. As he took my polish off, he raised his voice at me, tossed his tools on the table and left. I was told no one could help me. I returned months later for a 3rd time, requesting to only work with a woman. I was in a hurry and saw that they had moved clients inside. The interior was old and dirty!! Relaxing, me time turned chaotic. went in and got a pedicure and gel manicure. 'Ronnie' the lady who did my manicure was very gentle and nice. Definitely recommend. 'Charlie' however, was extremely rude. Seems to be in a hurry during the service. The beginning of the appointment the soaking bowl was knocked all over my lap, was not upset as accidents happen. We brought our mother to get her nails done today for her birthday and we showed one of the gentleman a picture of the nails we wanted before heading out to run errands & he as well as all the employees said they were able to do the same design as the image. Felt so bad when a girl came in and said her gels were really messed up and she wanted them taken off and the worker said no, we will fix them and she said no she wanted them off. Yikes! The first impression here was not a good one, and I will not be back they are not very welcoming they all acted as if they hate there jobs....no smiles they all look disgruntled. Nina who did my gel polish was not friendly at all...the dryer and work space had dust all over it, the area didn't look very clean...never saw her use any sanitizer she did an OK job but the unfriendlyness was overwhelming I felt as if I was disrupting her day. I spent $80, $100 if you include the tip here on a fill in and a pedicure. The pedicure was fine, but the fill in..its ridiculous that it has barely been a full week and my nails keep breaking. I called them and asked if they could repair it. They said it was fine for me to come get it repaired. It was my first pedicure ever, I got a man who seemed annoyed I didn't know what I was supposed to do. He wasn't rude but wasn't friendly. I noticed the women would put the jets on for the foot bath and that wasn't offered to me by him. He seemed to rush and I honestly could have done a much better job at home with the paint. This is one of the worst nail salons in Fresno! The customer service is terrible. Suggestions I made about my nails during my service were always met with an attitude from a manicurist. For instance, the paint job during my second visit was terrible. When I asked for my nails to be fixed, my nail technician got upset and walked away. It was a MAN who got upset with me, spoke harshly to me, and left me at the table alone. I had to ask for someone to finish my nails. When one of the women finally came over, she said they couldn't complete my service based on what the man told them. Another example of poor service was when I transitioned indoors from being outside, as it gets extremely hot here. However, their inside space didn't feel comfortable or clean. I couldn't relax. It looked dirty, and my nail job was rushed. Overall, the poor customer service, rushed nail service, and questionable cleaning practices made me quickly look for another salon. I have since found an amazing nail salon that's clean, beautiful, bright and all the nail techs are so nice and up to date on nail styles. The worse place I've ever been I ask for a small design and glitter. the "K" she tried to put on my big toe was absurd! not what I had asked for, it was suppose to be a simple design not the letter "K". i had asked her to fix them and make them more what I wanted and instead she put my sandles on and made me leave. I used to go to this nail salon all the time. When Marvin and Cindy owned it, the salon was always busy and clean. Everyone was always working and happy. Unfortunately, this salon has deteriorated and I will no longer return. I used to go just for the beautiful job Charlie did on my nails. But when I had my last appointment, they did not tell me he was not there and they said he is sick or probably looking for a job. My loyalty to this shop is done! I used to love this place.. But they keep raising their prices. Every time I go, they manage to file my skin off. And the last couple times I've gone for whatever reason, they didn't paint my toes or nails down to the cuticle so after getting a fresh mani/pedi it looked grown out. I think this is a tactic to make you have to come back more often... On top of that it didn't look like they did anything to my brows when I got them waxed. Probably one of my worst experiences getting my nails done. I was charged extra for getting coffin style nails for my fill in that was already coffin style & charged $10 for chrome. I've gotten chrome before and it has only been $3-5 more. The woman i had filed my nails and cut me. I told her to stop and it was hurting but she did not take much notice to it. My mom also got chrome and her clean up and top coat looks much nicer than mine. My top coat has spots and she did not clean up my cuticles at all. This place was fast and not too expensive for Fresno area prices. I regularly get my nails done in LA because I'm there for work and always pay between $15 and $20 for regular gels (no art). In Fresno, everywhere I've been its around $40 and its no better, its not like they last longer or anything. I got a regular gel manicure here for $25, they got me in without an appointment while I was on my lunch break and i was out in 45 Minutes. I gave it 4 stars only because I didn't check my nails before I left and a couple weren't filed correctly, so when I filed them, the gel started moving. Had I checked them before I left I'm sure they would've fixed them correctly, not like what I did. Bad first experience here. I don't know their names, but I had 2 seperate technicians working on my nails in one sitting. The first girl kept rushing me to choose a color just after sitting down with her for 5 minutes! I didn't appreciate that, they were not even busy at all - and I was asked 3x within 5 mins!
