I honestly wouldn't even give this place one star. I went in for a service, and the person helping me had an attitude the entire time and acted like he hated his job. I politely asked if he could remove a little more skin around the sides and heel area, and he refused. At that point, I decided to stop the service, paid, and left. The job was not even finished, yet I was still charged $47. I asked to speak with a manager and was told there was no manager available. I then asked for a supervisor and was told there wasn't one either. When I asked for contact information for the manager or owner, I was given the same business phone number. I was also told they were not allowed to give me the owner's information and that the owner was out of the country, so contacting him would somehow cost extra. The entire situation was unprofessional and frustrating. I paid full price for an unfinished service and could not get anyone in management to address my concerns. I will not be returning. read more

I remember when I could get a spa manicure and pedicure for $16.99 cash price in FiDi NYC. Here in Tampa, the same service would run you around $25-$30 ---maybe $36 if you wanted a fancier pedicure or callus removal. Today I spent $78 (not including tip) for the same service with just added the powder dip. The dip is certainly an interesting process. There is a lot of time spent by the nail tech trying to achieve the perfect depth on the nail. I picked out an OPI color called Summer Monday-Fridays (I'm a nail polish name memorizer) after seeing the color on someone else I know. This was my first time at Bella Nails and the salon is bright, airy, and observably clean. My experience today was with nail tech, Ethan. He was reserved, diligent and precise. I liked him. The only drawbacks for me were -- well, one was the cost. Is this the going rate for this service at every salon?! I almost NEVER get my nails done since I do them myself throughout the school year when I teach, but this time I wanted to get the extra pampering ahead of a rare 9 day vacation I'm taking with family. I was not expecting to spend almost $100.00 but that is what I did. The other drawback for me (which is probably something the salon cannot control) is the difference between the shade of color on the dipped nails versus the straight polish of the same color used on my toes. I'm not sure if this is typical but the polish color on my toes is brighter and a lot more reflective of the actual color in the bottle. The dipped fingernails reflect a more dull, toned down shade of green - almost more like a pea green than the brighter neonish color I selected. I probably won't return to this salon since I rarely get my nails done, but will be scouting different salons for a more cost effective experience the next time I'm out and about for this type of service. read more

I will never be coming back again. The nail technician was extremely rude. After she struggled with a simple French manicure, she wiped away my finger and got up, clearly upset, without saying a word. When she returned with another technician, she put things down in a huff and proceeded to talk badly about me with the other employee. I could easily tell by her mannerisms that she didn't even try to hide it. Additionally, you can see how noticeably different the French manicure is on both thumbs and throughout the other fingers. You can also see how the other nail isn't shaped correctly, with the acrylic going over the skin of my cuticle. Considering this experience, along with a prior visit where an employee who smelled strongly of weed hurt me during my nail appointment, I will not be returning. read more

While my nails turned out fine, my first (and final) visit to the WC location was very disappointing. I haven't been able to get my nails done in four months. My normal nail artist is always booked solid, and I needed a last-minute appointment, so I decided to take a chance on Bella. I made an appointment online the night before I wanted to get my nails done, with a tech I saw recommended in several Facebook posts. After booking my appointment, I received one automated email stating my appointment had been "sent to the owner." The next morning, I received a series of two automated emails. The first said "appointment confirmed" and the second was another "appointment sent to the owner." This seemed odd, but I didn't think much of it. When I arrived, imagine my surprise when the gentleman at the front desk abrasively said, "I tried to call you. You didn't pick up the phone. Your tech isn't available at the time you requested, so we moved your appointment." A voicemail was not left, nor was a text sent, so I am not sure how I was supposed to know I needed to speak to them about the scheduling issue. Additionally, the subject lines of the emails I received gave no indication that the time of my appointment had been changed on my behalf. There was no apology for the inconvenience or mix-up. Instead, they made me feel like I was to blame. For whatever reason, after a few minutes of awkwardly waiting at the front of the salon, my tech abruptly appeared, and they were able to get started on my nails. At least from my perspective, it felt obvious my tech was not happy about having to see me at the time I had originally booked. We sat in almost complete silence for an hour and a half. I was never offered a water, unlike most people around me, and it was all just very uncomfortable. The icing on the cake was going to pay and being charged an astronomical amount of money for the service I received. I have had the exact same service done at multiple salons around Wesley Chapel, and Bella was $20 MORE than the most I've ever spent. Since nail salons never actually break down the price of each "add-on," I can't help but wonder if I was charged extra because of the scheduling issue and the anger it clearly caused. The only redeeming quality of this experience was that my nails look decent. The techs are talented, but the online booking system needs to be improved, as does the customer service offered. A little kindness goes a long way. After having to wait months to get my nails done, it was truly disappointing to not even get to enjoy the experience. read more

This time she was very rushed and put the acrylic over my cuticles, my nails was left separated from the tips, and it was just very sloppy. I came in a couple days ago for what I thought would be a regular, quick pedi; but to my surprise, I had a queen's treatment! Bella Nails has amazing, talented staff, and the absolute most comfortable massage/lounge chairs I've ever experienced. And since I have back and neck issues it was perfect to sit back, relax and be completely spoiled. I chose a dark plum color which usually stains, but the gentleman that did my pedi was amazing and "cleaned up" any tiny drops of the polish that bled out with a brush and acetone. Absolutely perfect work! The spa has free WiFi, provided a free beverage, and was very friendly the whole time I was there! I highly recommend this place! I even brought my daughter in today to get her HOCO nails done, so I've been here twice this week! Definitely check this place out! The luxury, ambiance, and service is unparalleled! Best pedicure I've ever had in this area! Nice big massage chairs, very very clean, and it was about an hour. She actually exfoliated areas on my feet that need it and didn't just swipe around the purple sponge brush. A few weeks ago I went with my boyfriend to get a mani pedi (we love getting mani pedi and it's one of our relaxing activities together) I scheduled with a girl I knew does a decent job but I scheduled my boyfriend with any available staff because he needs a way more basic service (still he always gets a more expensive pedicure that the regular) the girl that was with me wasn't bad, not the best but I have nothing to complain about BUT the girl that was with my boyfriend didn't even cut his toenails properly (even tho he had one of the upgraded pedis) she basically only did the massage, everything else was poorly made. He got out of there almost the same way he walked in. Very disappointed. Some staff is decent but some others are mediocre, there's no guarantee. I gave this place a chance THREE times since it looks so fancy and clean. Looks are deceiving as their actual services do not deliver what it's promised. A gel manicure is supposed to last about 14 days, I'll even say 10 days is a decent amount of time. The first time the gel manicure did not last 3 days. The second time they did a horrible job with my nail shape, so I asked for it to be removed and they kindly did. Third time around the service provided was good, but the gel manicure did not last 24 hrs and it started to chip (see picture). The products they use are CHEAP even though they charge you a fortune ($81 for gel manicure and pedicure, other places charge you around $50 for both). I will never go back. Bella nails is the most unprofessional, racist, disrespectful and rude business I have ever been to. The staff all talk while doing nails and laugh and don't focus on attending to the client. Tai Thanh did my nails and toes couldn't have done a worse job. Also the odor from his seating area smells terrible so it makes the services he is doing very unpleasant. He was very rough and aggressive while doing my nails and extremely disrespectful. He cut my cuticles on 3 of my fingers and had no regards for how I felt even though I was literally bleeding. His co workers are just alike as well, laughing, distracting him and asking me stupid question knowing I was all ready upset. He took 6 hours to paint my toes and do French on my nails which I quite unreasonable if you ask me. Very rude and nasty people especially VYVY! I have gotten my nails done here since I was 11. I'm now 20 so I love this place especially when I need emergency nails. However I scheduled last minute because new years around the corner. I scheduled with VYVY. I been here a few times and had a favorite color. It's a nude pink and it's my go to color everytime I come there. I asked if she could help me find the color she said you can go look. I said um I would love some help finding the color i wouldn't know the name or number. I than I showed her the color and she just picked a shade that was called bubble gum. I told her yeah that not it. I have a picture of the color from when I got my nails done last time. She than gave me an attitude and looked at me and said well that's all I have if u don't have a number or name I can't help you. I than told nicely. I'm shy so I usually don't act out. I told I have the picture from here of me getting color. She thanked me said well we don't have it. I than asked can I see your nude shades you have and she said "it's whatever is here." I than got upset and just told her never mind and walked out and went to TOUCH NAILS SALON III. I'll leave that other salon a review but these people treated me so kindly and did help me find that color and had everything organized by shade and color. I will never ever go to Bella's again. When you first walk in the decor definitely gives Luxury Spa experience! I went for a White Gel Pedicure and the service was exceptional. I was greeted by the receptionist and waited maybe 2-3 minutes as they prepared my area. I got the Volcano Pedicure and I did not regret it! Also, the massage chairs have a heat setting which I feel in love with! The only thing I would recommend is upgrading the pedicure options to also include the "Paraffin Wax" only because it's a favorite of mine. read more
