They do a good job and are pretty good at keeping it timely but they are very expensive I paid for me and my friend and it cost 250 dollars we each got the basic package for the pedicure and I did a fill in and she got a full set French tip. They are pretty slow and can get you in quickly though. The vibe of the place is very peaceful. I would recommend if you don't mind dropping a bag. read more

I went in without an appointment on a Saturday. They took me right away. I got a gel pedicure and a dip manicure. The technician that did my toes gave me the best pedicure ever and actually covered the whole nail with polish and took her time. The dip manicure was great as well, they weren't perfect but I asked for something difficult to do with dip. Everything was in good condition and the massage chairs worked. There were no little kids running around and it was very professional. This is my new go to salon. read more

We were going here before my friends' wedding and although they were able to take three of us in without a reservation (maybe that should have been a red flag) , it wasn't really the best experience. It's pretty damn expensive for what you get, and although they did tell me that regular polish wouldn't last long - it should at least last one day. When you come in, you come into a more relaxed environment with instrumental music playing in the background. This is good if you're coming from work and needing to relax for a little. They have 4 different types of pedicures to choose from, and they are all great! I prefer the spa pedicure with the hot towels and hot rocks on your legs and feet. And they give the best leg massages. Since they are usually busy on the weekends and in the morning, the best time to come in is around 3-5pm any day. read more

I went back for a pedicure and gel manicure. I was very disappointed. It was a day and night experience from the first and second 4 star visit. The young woman (who I'm guessing is new and inexperienced) did my pedicure and took a large chunk of my toe when she was clipping my toe nails. It hurt enough that I squealed in pain and was bleeding. The older man (also new?) who did my manicure had shaky hands. I chose red nail polish before we began. Needless to say, I had polish and clear gel polish everywhere when he was finished. It will be awhile if I decide to return to give them another chance. They were not busy, several of the employees whom I've seen before or that have given me excellent service on previous visits, sat in the chairs playing on their iPads. I'm giving 3 stars because everyone was very nice and pleasant not because of quality of nails and service. read more

Pretty nail color and soft feet, but it came at a cost... a large cut on my big toe that is still healing 12 days after my pedicure. I have gone here a handful of times and had good experiences. However, this last time I went was not great, and I won't be going back. I guess I got a new technician and she didn't know what she was doing. When she went to buff my nails before polishing them, she cut my toe (think paper cut)... ouch! It bled for quite a while and then a more experienced tech finished my pedicure. I don't understand why the new tech wasn't being watched by someone else, considering there were 6-7 other employees standing around talking and only one other customer in the building when I got there. I was not given a discount or anything. And the only reason I gave them 2 stars is because my other 3 experiences were decent. read more

I came in on a Thursday afternoon. No wait! Quickly started getting busy however. Everyone from the lady who checked me in, the person who started my foot bath, to the color guru was awesome. So nice. And incase you are wondering from other reviews... Yes, the staff speaks English and didn't have side conversations in their native language. I'm beyond tickilish when getting the pedicure and tech was beyond accommodating. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because they forgot about during the drying time. I asked for black gel polish. my nails are navy blue. I didn't realize until I got to my car. you can see thru the polish on some of the nails. and the tips of my left hand some spots are very thick. I went back in after getting a few other people's opinions and asked to speak to a manager. they look at us funny and we had to ask again. one worker asked me what was the matter. I told her my nails are navy blue and not black and that you could see thru them and that the tips were thick. she said no they are black. and they look fine. then started to make fun of me to her customer she was working on. I said well if you aren't doing to do anything about it I am leaving and leaving a bad review. she didn't care. I will have a pic to show the work they do. Bella is the place to go for a pedicure. They have four different pedicures to choose from ranging from a basic pedicure to their Sweet and Milky. I have tried both their Spa Pedicure, which is one step up from the basic, and the Sweet and Milky. Both were incredibly relaxing and included scrubs, foot masques, hot stone massages, and hot towel wraps. The Sweet and Milky also included a paraffin dip. All of their services also take place with soothing music in the background. After a couple of pedicures at Bella I literally can't imagine going anywhere else. read more

Just stopped by the grand opening of Bella Nails & Salon. The salon is beautiful, clean, well decorated, and airy. Very relaxing. Although the ladies that work there are very friendly and honestly did a good job on my nails, I will not return to the establishment. When I walked into the salon a gentleman asked me what I needed and told me the price. The price i was told was pretty standard to the area. However, at the end of my visit, the price I actually had to pay was $5 more that what was quoted. The reason was explained that they charge for "cut down" with a fill-in. Most other salons include this service in the price of their fill-ins. When it came time to select a color - I was handed a ring of samples because they lock up their nail polish in cases with signs that say "employees only". I know its downtown New Albany but polish theft can't be that high. I don't like the idea of not being able to see the different options lined up in front of me. read more

I have been to this place several times and loved the outcome of my nails, however, a week ago today I went in and got gel on my nails and toes. I haven't had any problems with my toes and the girl who did them did an awesome job. When I went to get my nails done after my toes, the person doing my nails was Kevin and I'm not impressed. If I pay $30 to have my nails done I expect them to last more than a week. I will admit that my nails are short because I bite them, however, Kevin didn't even cut my cuticles or push them back or anything. If he would have done this it would have given him more room on my nails to paint. I will attach pictures. The gel is literally peeling off of my nail and gets caught on things which make it peel even more. This started 2 days after getting them done. I will not be returning. Also, I get my nails done so that I won't bite my nails anymore (if I spend $30 you bet in not biting them) so no I have not bit them since I got them done. read more

To start the 2016 Year off right my three friends and I visited Bella Nails and Spa to get manicures and pedicures. Actually my three friends ended up getting their eyebrows done as well. We had a fabulous experience, all four of us and will definitely go back again. We arrived just after 10:00am and were all able to be seated together, it was so much fun, relaxing, the décor is beautiful, the music so relaxing. Horrid experience. My daughter and I went on Dec 27 for services. We will NEVER patronize this business again. All our issues were brought up to the techs doing our nails, they said it is fine. No, 15 nails lifting off of 30% of the nail is not what I just paid you for. Our nails where in worse condition when we left than when we arrived. After leaving we had to go to another Nail Shop that night to fix our nails. My daughter had to have every acrylic nail removed and a new set put on, I had to have 5 removed and re-set. To top it off, the nail techs and owners (I assume) we talking trash about another customer with an service dog that had come in. The trash talk was turned to is when I said our nails were not good and needed to be fixed. And then turned to another customer who said she had an ingrown nail on her big toe, none of the techs knew what "ingrown" meant - the owners teenage daughter had to translate. Finally, the owner's young daughter (5ish) was skipping and running all over the salon and badgering customers. 1 star is selected because Yelp requires it, my true rating is ZERO stars. read more

I have gotten 3 gel manicures here and had great experiences each time. I'm not overly chatty, so I as in and out pretty quickly. The longest I ever had to wait was 10 mins. There was a really pair of younger male workers who I really liked talking to the first time I came here, but I haven't seen them since. Maybe I just never go during their hours. In early September 2016, I phoned to make an appt. for 8 ladies as my daughter was getting married the next day and had her rehearsal dinner that day. I asked if there was going to be a problem with taking such a large group. They assured me it wouldn't be a problem. I thought I was doing the right thing by calling ahead and making an appointment. I made the appt. for 10am. Since I've moved out of the area and was coming from Louisville, I didn't realize all of the construction, and I was running 10 mins. late. My daughter called me from the shop saying the people were being very rude and rushing her and her friends to sit down to get started. She said she wanted to wait for me. I explained by this point I was on the bridge, just mins. away. 2 of her friends decided to go ahead and sit down and get started. Not even 2 mins. later my daughter called to say she was very upset and didn't know what to do. I asked if she wanted to go somewhere else, and she said yes. When I arrived, her 2 friends were still in the chairs. The lady immediately tried to rush us to our seats as well. The time now was 10:10am. I said just a minute. I walked my daughter outside and asked what happened. We waited for the 2 friends to finish and then I walked over to the owner/manager man and explained in front of their other customers that we were leaving because of the way they treated my daughter. He never once apologized, or acted like he cared. As I went outside, another customer came outside to tell me she applauded me for leaving, as she watched the whole scene unfold. She said they were very rude to my daughter and all my daughter kept telling them was "I just want to wait for my mom." I was really glad she told me this as it validated my daughter's response (even though she is very patient with people). I knew it must have been bad for this lady to come outside and tell us how they treated her. We called another nail salon across the street, explained the situation, and got taken in right away. They were super fantastic and happy to make my daughter's special wedding day perfect! I would not recommend this nail salon. read more

I had three other staff members work with me on my next visit and the manicure was hit and miss. As other reviewers stated the new salon is beautiful, clean, a very relaxing atmosphere. That is the end of the positive comments for me. There were 3 ladies and a man working, on the Sunday I visited. The ladies where speaking very loudly in their native language and laughing and cutting up. So even with the relaxing massage chair and soothing music it was difficult to relax. Also about 10 minutes into my pedicure the young lady taking care of me got on her cellphone and continued talking on her phone throughout my entire pedicure. Very disrespectful for a business to allow the employees to have full conversations on there cellphones while basically ignoring paying customers. I have had many pedicures and to be quite honest she was very rough with my feet. I also was turned off by the limited color options on a ring. Not only were they rude but I had called prior to see how much it was going to cost for a full set, eyebrow, and lip wax and they gave me a price over the phone. I go to Bella every two weeks for a manicure and pedicure. They always greet me with smile and I have never had to wait for my services to begin. They are always busy and do an outstanding job. Okay. I'm not the type of person to complain. However I did not have the greatest experience here. I did go to this establishment once before and the job that was done on my nails was great. But I had to wait over an hour to receive it. Now I will accept the responsibility for the first insistent. Because I did not make an appointment and it was the weekend. But it was kinda ridiculous to have to wait over an hour just to be seen. My second visit was one I did not enjoy. First of all they are not very personal. As well as not understanding. I told the manicurist that I just wanted a polish of gel. Not a manicure. But after I sat down she started doing a manicure. Unfortunately I am timid and didn't say anything which is my fault but she charged me for a manicure i did not want or need. Also the job that was done do my nails was not up to par. It chipped by the 3rd day and it was gel. I was angry but I didn't want to go back because I thought I would be a pain. A couple days past and while I was at work all of my nails except my pinky chipped off. And I'm talking about they just peeled off. I went back to ask them fix it or give me money back and I wanted them to fix it and put a new color on since what I had before was a few deferent colors and the one left was black. And she said that she was going to just paint my nails all the same color. Now I should have just asked for my money back because it wouldn't be that hard to take off one nail that has gel. But needless to say all of my nails are black. And they are also chipping, I got them done yesterday.
