I have been a faithful client at Bella Nails for several years. I even got my husband to start going for pedicures with me. However, last year I developed toenail fungus from them (this was the only place I was going to and I was not doing my own pedicures). My husband continued to get pedicures, but then this year he noticed he had developed toenail fungus as well. We are very disappointed that this has happened. I haven't gone to the salon in quite a while, but I needed a quick gel filler. Bella Nails was able to take me right away. My nail technician was Danny and he did a fantastic job. He explained everything he was doing as it was different than I was used to at the salon that I had been going to. He wanted to make sure I was satisfied and even changed the color for me when he sensed I wanted a little deeper pink. The salon was crowded, which was a good sign. The salon is under new management and it doesn't warrant the lower rating here on Yelp. If you check their Google ratings, they have a 4.8 rating. The new management has turned the salon around. It's clean and the staff are friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend Bella Nails. You can walk into the salon, call for an appointment or book an appointment on their website, too. I also liked that I could pay through Zelle. So convenient. I loved how my nails looked when Danny was done. I will definitely be back again. read more

First time here, and I asked for a no chip manicure. It looks amazing and $43 is less than I normally spend at Mario Tricoci ($59). However, each time she put my nails under the dryer unit (and had my palms just on her table), I felt zaps of electricity in my fingers. So, what is that? Made me nervous. And, the nail tech was brusque. I kept telling her, I play violin, be kind towards my fingers (I have a thumb with an injury). It took probably 6 reminders, before she realised she should stop pressing so hard on that thumb knuckle. I felt like I was inconveniencing her and she got argumentative right away, saying, I did not injure your thumb. No, you did not. Just be gentle. For me, it's a one and done. I did not feel like I could communicate well with her, and when that happens (for whatever reasons), it makes me stay away. But, nice, clean work. read more

I've been on the fence of getting a manicure forever bc I didn't know what I wanted. Gel, dip, acrylic... can't decide with the pros/cons to each. I went wit the dip. Came in, place was clean, had a HUGE variety of colors on clean nails (plastic) rather than looking at some junky bottles. Found color, guy doing nails was super nice/not overly talkative which was nice too. More importantly, he offered me something I never thought of: tips on the dip. I needed this and wanted the benefits of acrylic w/out acrylic so it was a win win. It was a quick service, priced right and done so well. Visiting family from out of town and wanted to pamper myself. I wanted an easy experience and this fit the bill. My only complaint is that they did not fully explain the chip coat process. If you regularly get your nails done, please forgive my ignorance I had no idea. Because it's cold the I was not wearing open toed shoes so of course I said yes when casually offered a coating that would quickly dry. It added 20 dollars to the treatment. Just be aware. The staff is really friendly and accommodating. They welcome you when you walk-in (which is really appreciated). Relaxing music. Endless color options! Sleep-inducing pedicures. Take their time, no "rush" mentality here. Quality pricing for quality service. Inviting space to bring friends and family. Worth it every time. Tried cat eye for the first time and it came out too good. They have vibrant colors, if you like your nails to pop and even neutral cat eye colors. The neutrals look so beautiful, remind me of when you get iridescent palettes. Recommend trying a cat eye color next time you visit, especially with the warm weather approaching, the sun is going to make these pop even more! Tami alone is one of my favorite shapers. She just gets it right consistently, whether I'm short square or transitioning into a long almond. My nails have never been stronger. 10/10 RECOMMEND. See you at the blue chairs! read more

Update: This is my go-to nail salon. They do a great job and my favorite part is that unlike other quality nail salons they are hardly ever busy enough where you have to wait. They have a couple of TVs and always have Netflix on. Waste of money. I hate leaving bad reviews, but this was the worst experience I've had with a nail salon. I got a no-chip pedicure and a no-chip acrylic full set here today. The pedicure was great, my toes look great, and I think it's because a different nail tech worked on my feet. I had no issues with my pedicure. However, as you can see in the picture of my manicure, there is a gap between where the polish starts and where the base of my nails are... they look three weeks overgrown and I just got them today. They're lumpy, the shapes are uneven, and the lengths are all different. To top it off, you can see that the nail polish even goes outside of the space a little. For $50, I expected so much better. When the price is $50, you would expect the quality of the manicure to reflect the price. This was absolutely not it. I am extremely unsatisfied with my fingernails. Highly do NOT recommend. I sat for 30 minutes in the pedicure chair waiting for them to begin the pedicure without even the water bowl filled. Please note I also had an appointment booked so this was for 30 minutes after my appointment time. Then, an employee leisurely strolls out of the back room to finally help me. He had just been hanging out back there doing nothing. The $40 Hello Summer pedicure is essentially is a basic pedicure (the add a quick scrub). The entire thing was finished within 20 minutes. He was rude and roughly positioned my feet in and out of the water. Nothing about this was worth $40. Very Dirty + Extremely Poor Quality Trying to save someone the time and money in order to have a good experience somewhere else. I've never left a review and nor would I ever want to take money away from a business, but this nail salon needs to make some quality improvements. Nails - I had a spa mani and pedi. Overall very subpar experience. They had blue stones that died the water and also my feet and cuticles around my toes. They said it would eventually wash off (what?!) Callus removal was done with a pumice stone clearly used on several other people. Gross. My feet were brushed over and callus' barely touched. More like a graze over rather than serving its purpose. Massage was a light touch - more a running of fingers over my legs. The nail polish job was unfortunately the worst I've ever had. All over my skin, extended beyond nails, not covering all or some nails...I asked them to clean the nail polish off my skin twice. Needless to say.... End result is beyond unacceptable by a "professional" nail salon. Dirty - There is a layer of nail dust, grime and dirt everywhere you look. Fans, lamps, manicure tables, pedicure basins clearly aren't cleaned between services (dirty, nail clippings, etc) even though they use liners, drippings of soaps and polishes (you name it) outside spa basins. Cotton balls are kept in plastic grocery bags yet exposed under their pedicure stools. Towels stained. We were there the moment they opened at 9am so it clearly wasn't because they had a days worth of service they didn't yet have a chance to clean. read more

Amy does the best/most perfect and detailed dip manicure! I live in River North in Downtown Chicago and only go here when I am out in the suburbs visiting my parents. I had been going to a salon downtown but noticed my no chip manicures weren't lasting very long or looking as good as usual and wanted them perfect for my upcoming wedding at the end of the month.
