Went here today as a new patient & I was so nervous because it's been years since I've seen a dentist due to horrrrible experiences but ALL of the staff in this office made me feel so seen, heard, cared about, & you can just tell that they genuinely love their job. Dr. Rubina is such a sweetheart & she gave me the freedom to truly choose what works best for me, especially financially. I suffered with anxiety at the dentist for years which made me never want to go back but I literally walked out of this practice feeling so happy & even excited for my next appointment. Knowing that I'm taking care of my dental health & having a team who truly cares is the BEST. Sarah did my cleaning & she is an ANGEL. She let me take breaks when I needed to, continuously asked if I was okay, & we even had mini girl talks about life which I loved haha. I just felt so .... Comfortable! Highly recommend this place! I had an amazing experience getting composite bonding done on a tooth that has been dead and ankylosed following an accident 12+ years ago. I've been to the office twice and I can't say enough about the whole team , they really care about your oral issues . Kim the office manager was so understanding about what I wanted to start with as I need a few things' to be done . I was worried they say no but they didnt , so Dr.Rubina extracted 3 teeth with ease and great care she made sure I wasn't feeling any pain , she explained everything , about replacements for my extracted teeth . I was recently assigned a new work project that was expected to last 9-12 months, requiring me to be in the Sacramento for a while, so I decided to look for a local dentist during my time out there. I had actually been recommended to Bella Vista to see Dr. Rubina, But had a terrible experience before even meeting the dentist. The staff seems to be very rude and unprofessional. I thought that maybe I caught them on an off day, but after seeing the recent review from Shannon and the response that she got back from the owner... I was baffled. I understand that the "customer is not always right," but his tone was very defensive and that was a huge turn off for me. I wouldn't recommend supporting a business that treats their customers like this, regardless of how "good" their services supposedly are. I'm very cautious about picking health care providers, so I also looked up the dentist -- Dr. Rubina, where I saw similar complaints about her lack of professionalism and just telling people what they want to hear to get them out of the door. Today after much searching, I finally met a dentist I like and feel I can trust. She spent a fair amt. of time assuring I understood her findings. She has only been in Lincoln for about a year, and is expanding her practice. Dr. Rubina Khorana has a wonderful manner, explains things patiently in an easy to understand manner, and I feel is not a con artist. This is so refreshing for a change. I had left a message on the answering machine, before I became a patient. That evening she called me back, even though I was not yet her patient, and wanted to assure I was not in pain or needing emergency treatment. That alone spoke volumes, and I decided to go ahead and make an appointment to see if I liked her. The office is clean, updated and staff are very personable. Her prices are reasonable as well. I honestly don't know where to start! The whole staff is amazing. I drive from south San Francisco to Lincoln just for Dr. Rubina. I had to bring my kids with me one day I was worried if they can sit still for an hour. I find out I had to extract 7 teeth's at once. Kim (front desk) said "don't worry about your kids". She had iPads playing movies and a sound bar to amplify the sound like a theater and with snacks. We've become family. Horrible first impression. I called to make an appointment. I had two choices. 10am or 11am. In order for me to book, I had to call my dental Ins. to make them my primary dentist. Best dental experience ever! I walked in and instantly found my new dental home. The receptionist, Kim, was very welcoming. She had already obtained my dental insurance and explained how it worked. She patiently answered all my questions and assured me that my visit would be covered. I was taken to the back by an assistant named Leah. She explained what was planned for my visit and made sure I was informed and comfortable every step of the way. Next I met Dr. Rubina, she told me about herself and her dental experience. My family of four went here for the first time today and were very happy with our visit. First I will say that I liked Dr Rubina. I felt like she was knowledgeable, and took the time to explain the options to me, and I also felt she was honest and wouldn't try to sell me a bunch of work I didn't need! I also really liked the dental hygienest Sarah, she did a great job cleaning my mouth. You could tell she really cared about the quality of her work and took the time to do it right!
