I visited and got x-rays with an estimated cost of my dental work. I requested a copy of the work plans so I can set up appointments for fillings, deep cleaning, etc. No answers after many attempts of getting a whole of the office manager including no responses to my emails. First off let me say I've been a patient here since 2008. We are a military family that moved to Lincoln and I had a hard time finding a dentist that would even take our dental insurance. I had about 10 old amalgam fillings at the time. Over the years I had some problems with my teeth (nerves dying, etc...). I can't say enough great things about Dr. Gogani and his staff. Everyone was amazing from start to finish and I usually can't say that about Dental offices. Tina, the office manager, called me early Sunday morning and offered me an 8:30 appointment that I took almost immediately because I had been in pain for hours. I was beyond happy to find an actual emergency dentist that would accommodate a weekend appointment. When I got to the office, I was greeted and treated with such kindness, care and concern. Dr. Gogani went out of his way to make sure I was comfortable during this very difficult procedure that I would've likely been referred to an oral surgeon had I gone anywhere else. He even allowed my family to sit in the procedure room with me! He kept me well informed while he and his equally kind assistant performed a relatively painless surgical extraction and bone graft. Dr. Gogani is a master at his craft! I went to my old dentist and told her about pain and she wrote it off because it was a crown. Anyways long story short he found a very serious infection under that crown. I'm so relieved to have my answer as to what was going on! The staff is amazing as well, I let Dr Gogani know I have epilepsy and they had someone with me the whole time and we took breaks when needed. It helped me stay calm! All around a great experience! I cannot recommend this dentist office more! I have been to other dentist in the area and none of those dentists are as gentle and precise as Citadel Dental. The dentist, assistants and front office are always kind, the office is clean and the staff always provides a detailed list of work prior to scheduling an appointment. I recently had crowns placed on my upper teeth and the final outcome is gorgeous! The crowns look natural, are not too big or too white. They are perfect! During the process, the dentist let me know exactly what was happening, stopped if my teeth were sensitive and worked late to accommodate my schedule. They are truly a blessing to work with. I've been on the hunt for a good dentist. I left my favorite dentist over five years ago when his practice expanded and my last experience was terrible. He had a new assistant finish my crown and it was a long and agonizing ordeal. After she was done, I was still not happy with the fitting. After repeated visits and the dentist trying to get it to fit right, I just gave up and stopped going although I liked the hygienist and office staff. I found another dentist in town, and he was great but it seemed as if every time I went in, he said I needed a crown? Odd because at my former dentist, I had only gotten one in the many years I was his patient. On top of that, they said there were no co pays because of my excellent insurance, but I still received bills which I never got with the former dentist. I quickly got tired of that and found Citadel Dental. I made an appointment for a cleaning, X-rays, and checkup. The office is modern and beautiful. I was quickly taken back by a young male assistant and he did my X-rays. The doctor comes in and tells me my teeth are in bad shape. He wants to know who did my crowns. I told him I went to two in our local area. I told him that the one that my first dentist had done was always a concern for me due to the way it fit. He tells me that the three needs to be replaced because I'll have some problems down the road. He tells me that they were pretty shoddy jobs that my previous dentists had done and reassured me that he wouldn't let me walk out with sloppy crowns. I tell him that the crowns were quite new and he could see that I was discouraged. He tells me I need two more along with the three older ones that need to be replaced. It's really disappointing to hear that you need to have crowns replaced when you just had them put in several years ago. After the bad news he tries to lead me out to the front but I tell him I'm also here for a cleaning. He leaves to get the instruments to perform my cleaning. It wasn't the most thorough cleaning, Idk? Maybe because it was done by a dentist and not by a hygienist? I didn't even get a goody bag that hygienists always give you. He has his assistant finish and apply the polish and when I ask to rinse my mouth out in the sink, the assistant tells me to go to the bathroom! Wth!? When I went to the bathroom, there are no cups and I literally cupped my hands full of water and rinsed my mouth out! When I went to check out to make my appointment, the billing gal tells me what an excellent insurance I have and the crowns will be of no cost to me. I have yet to pay for a crown and that's usually quite pricey. I appreciate the doctor's honesty but I think I'm a bit leery of all dentists for the time being. I'm not going to forego any more crowns, especially if they're not bothering me at this point. read more

Had to have multiple appointments to get a crown put on which is fine, except they had no record of the previous repair that THEY did on the same tooth. After going back to get my permanent crown on it didn't fit. Went back for another appointment and the crown still didn't fit correctly so they decided to grind a good tooth to make it fit. Has been 1 month and the tooth that got the crown is still extremely sore and the good tooth they chose to grind is sore as well. I knew better than to go back after a previous procedure that they up-charged me for, but decided to still go because they were who I went with before. When it was time for me to finally get my veneers I knew I had to go to the the BEST. I've read the reviews some think prices are maybe a little bit higher but I can tell you horror story's from going to western dental and other places because I wanted to save a few bucks. EVERYTHING in this office truly is top of the line and I knew the material they use and expert opinion would be too. Anyways.. I had work done at western dental in rocklin, they did two cavities for me which I ended up getting literally a hole in my tooth! it was awful! So I came to Citadel Dental to have them fix western dentals poor work they did on my two teeth plus get my 6 veneers I've been dying for. I expected to have a root canal done for my one tooth but didn't, sure enough my two teeth western dental did I needed to get two crowns. Which was fine because I expected to pay to fix it, and then pay the price of a veneer over it which he ended up saving me money. My experience was great took 3 weeks for the whole process. I can tell he wanted to make sure my new teeth would be perfect, and they are! I know a few people that have veneers done including my mom and you can tell a huge difference in mine and they always say they wish they went to Dr. G, because they look so good! I recently moved to Lincoln California and needed to find a local dentist. After doing some online research, I came up with three potential dental offices. I made quick visits to check out each location and ultimately decided upon Citadel Dental. This, of course, was not a scientific decision process, I just preferred the look and feel Citadel. My teeth needed cleaning and I had some tooth discomfort. Additional I was concerned about some of my aging porcelain veneers. Consequently the process started with a complete dental examination and teeth cleaning. I was amazed that Dr. Gogani (Dr. G.) not only performed the exam (as I would expect) but, ... also, actually" participated in cleaning my teeth" (vs. this being solely performed by a dental hygienist). Dr. G. subsequently provided with me with appropriate information about my dental situation, relevant options and answered my questions. He communicated clearly, logically and professionally enabling me to make informed decisions. My treatment ultimately involved several crowns and a route canal. It was all done painlessly! I am very pleased with the dental outcomes. My teeth have never looked and felt better. While correcting my real dental issues, he was also able simultaneously to make cosmetic improvements.... such as straightening my upper arch and whitening all of my teeth. The new crowns look great. Did the old "google" search for dental offices in Lincoln and Citadel Dental was amongst the top to choose from. From the first phone call, I was pleased and treated how a customer should be treated. I booked a cleaning, since I finally obtained benefits and had not be given a cleaning in 5 years. I came for my initial screening and met the Dentist who was friendly and informative regarding my teeth. He recommend I get a deep cleaning. He did not want to perform the basic teeth cleaning because it would be a waste of my insurance usage. I respect that doc. So, he shook my hand and I sat down with the manager to schedule an appointment. They were able to get me in the next day with the dental hygienist. Who I met the next day and let me tell you...what a doll. Sweetest lady who took the time to get to know me while cleaning my teeth. She was fast and delicate while injecting my gums with numbing solution. I do have to come back to clean the remaining half of my mouth and I seriously can not wait. After looking around for different cosmetic dentistry, I found this place. I came in 20 minutes early for my appointment as I knew I would be filling out paperwork. I came in and the lady at the counter was on the phone and so I wasn't greeted and then when she did finally acknowledge me, she only asked what my name was? No hello, good morning or any type of greeting ‍ I finally was asked to come back into the office where I then proceeded to wait for 15 minutes after my initial time for my appointment. In my opinion it was very unprofessional. As I was on my way out of the dental office the staff at the front encouraged me to wait and told me that the doctor was almost finished with his other patient. I then informed them that I had made my appointment at a certain time because my child would have been getting out of school and I needed to be their to pick my child up. I had a flyer good for x-rays and cleaning for 49$, and seeing as how the last time i visited a dentist was back in 2011 I thought this was a great deal. When I entered the building I was amazed by how nice it looks inside, the Dr must have spent a lot of money to design such a beautiful office. The staff were very nice and greeted me as I walked in. After taking x-rays the dental hygienist greeted me. She was very friendly and made me feel comfortable before and during the process. I was given a pair of darkened glasses to wear during the cleaning, which was nice. It prevented me from being blinded by the light, and because they use a sonic cleaning tool that sprays water while it cleans the glasses prevented water from getting in my eyes. After the cleaning, the dentist came in and checked on me. We talked about my teeth and gums, and i was then directed to speak with the manager. she was very pleasant and talked about a few options for taking care of my mouth. i told her that i would need to think it over, she smiled and said thank you for coming in. after paying for the exam i was given a thank you letter followed by a 5$ gift card for starbucks. i really enjoyed the cleaning. read more

I needed a dentist really quick due to a tooth that had been bothering me for a few days and they were able to get me in the first thing the next morning. Great customer service from the time I walked in the door. Dr. Gogani was very quick to see me and looked at the ex-ray's and explained to me very thoroughly what needed to be done. Then I heard the words no one really wants to hear, "root canal". Yikes!! He was able to look at his schedule and work me in right then. He told me it would take about 2 1/2 hours and I would be in better shape. He got started and about 1 hour later he was done!! I had very very little pain during the whole procedure. He was very good about telling me what was going on and when he was going to be done. I am beyond pleased!! If you need an emergency, give Citadel Dental a call!! In the past month I've recommended Dr Gogani to multiple people. He was the only dentist to take me on a Saturday for an emergency root canal. I had been in so much pain for the past 48 hrs I hadnt slept. I was exhausted and in excruciating pain when I walked in and within 10 minutes of walking in the door he had me in the chair and number for relief.
