Very modern and has a great color scheme going on that I absolutely dig. The services are different from your normal nail salon, but honestly it felt so much better! Everything is friendly and not your normal "harmful" type of products. I had a hard gel overlay and I love the way the look and feel. I was randomly out there picking up a friend of mine. I was dying for coffee and so we stopped by Starbucks. Just by chance she wanted to check it out to get her nails done, I obliged and decided to get a manicure. ANOTHER by chance moment, someone had cancelled their appointment so we were able to get in quickly. As a guy I don't get my nails done that often but to be honest I'm down with this place. It didn't have that awful acetone smell that overloads your senses. The people in there were incredibly friendly and really nice. I wish it were closer to where I live, especially sine they are eco conscious (which is why I didn't smell that awful acetone smell from down the block and have it ruin my coffee). Thanks guys! I've never experienced a Holistic spa as luxurious as BellaBar! The atmosphere is peaceful and chic, I feel as though I'm on vacation in Europe. The best part is the cleanliness of the services offered. I love the comfortable and unique salon chairs for pedicures. I will most definitely be back for a customized facial! I would give it a 5 star rating based on the beautiful appearance of the salon and pleasant staff. The reason for two stars off is I got a gel manicure and within one week every single nail has chipped and looks awful. Maybe it was the polish but for the price point, not worth it. I've had great gel manicures before that last as long as three weeks without chipping and I haven't been doing anything out of the ordinary for the manicure to look this awful. Maybe I'll retry and rate at a later date. read more

I had such a great first experience at Bella Bar! The place is so cute and the chairs are so comfy. I was greeted immediately after walking in and offered a beverage. I got the Oh, Matcha! pedi package ($45) which included a matcha mask, massage, and polish. It was incredible! Bellabar wOws me with their stunning nail work! They have gave me the most fun manicure that lasted quite a while (gels) without chipping. They shaped my nails nicely, too...I had them do rounded with a bit edgy shaping, which came out out looking stellar. They also brought me a glass of yummy bubbly to sip while they worked. Their chairs are very cushioned & comfortable which adds to the relaxation. I bought some organic make-uP that is my new favorite and they were great about helping me choose my colors. The atmosphere is different than other nail salons I've been to, and I absolutely loved it. The room was very open and inviting, as was the staff. They were not trying to rush through my service to get to the next guest. Stephanie, who did my nails, took care to shape my nails the way I like them and was a perfectionist as she painted them. The rest of the staff was very nice and chatted with us while she was taking care of me, and they offered complimentary mimosas and coconut water to both me and my boyfriend. I've now visited this salon twice, once with an appointment and once without, and both experiences exceeded my expectations. The decor itself lets you know right away that this is not your typical salon. No loud tvs, no clinical plastic carts. Just soothing pink walls and fresh coconut water. Yesterday I came in with my friend and we were very excited to check this place out. I have seen good reviews on Yelp and I've never been to a nail salon set up like a boutique. There was an event going on for Breast Cancer and they were setting up when we walked in so I patiently waited at the front desk until someone could assist us. The lady who had come out from the back came out had looked at us and turned right back around without acknowledging us. She then comes back out and begins to help another woman who had walked in after us and was looking at products in your store. When I said excuse me and was asking for help she looked at me as if I was a bother or inconvenience to her. I let her know that we were interested in getting our nails done and that we had a groupon and she left to talk with her manager. She came back out and said that they were too busy and we would need to make an appointment. Had she been more pleasant and professional to speak with I would had made an appointment at a more convenient time and been more understanding. With that being said I don't plan to go back to BellaBar. read more

The salon itself was clean and the person who did my nails spent a lot of time on them. I appreciate that. I was happy with the way out my nails turned out in the end. But when I first walked in the person that was standing at the desk confused me. I was told that if I got gel, I would not need to pay for gel removal. It didn't really make sense, but I went with it. Then when I went to pay a different person at the desk said that I did need to pay for gel removal even though I got gel. Don't get me wrong, I normally wouldn't mind paying for gel removal. But I don't really like being told one thing and then being charged for something else! Still bummed about the miscommunication. Also, when my gel was being removed, the person who did my nails squeezed my hand really hard and was struggling to remove it. She ended up breaking my nail and then told me that the gel I had on my nail wasn't good and that it's my fault that my nail broke. If a nail breaks I understand that it happens, but the comment was really unnecessary regardless of if it was true or not. Again, I liked the way my nails turned out in the end, but if these two things didn't happen my experience would have been way better! read more

I had an amazing experience at BellaBar. I was taken here for my birthday and was pleasantly surprised by how accommodating and the the staff were. Lauren was my esthetician and made me feel comfortable from the get go. My facial was phenomenal, not only do I receive a facial but a head and neck massage in addition. The products that were used are organic and smell heavenly. I would definitely recommend BellaBar for anyone looking to unwind and relax. I went to Bella Bar yesterday for a pedicure before picking up my kids. I had a great experience, and I hope they get more business soon because this salon is much nicer than the typical nail studios in the area. They use nail polish that doesn't have any harsh chemicals, and I think this is perfect for a new mom who wants to sneak in while her baby is sleeping in the car seat because no one has to breathe in any harsh fumes while they are there. It's also quite pretty inside. They do pedicures without water which is fine because they also offer wet towels and hot stones to make the experience luxurious. And because I was there on a Wednesday, I was able to take advantage of the 10% off deal they do mid-week. Overall, it was a great experience. The only reason why I didn't give them 5 stars was because I had preferred to go at 9 a.m. after I dropped my kids off at school and while my car was getting washed (two birds with one stone, you know?), but they didn't open until 10 a.m. so I had to come back at a slightly less convenient time. This wasn't too much of an inconvenience though and I can easily plan ahead in the future. read more

This so called "waterless" mani / pedi is ridiculous. What a joke. My mani wasn't too bad but the pedi was awful. My feel weren't even clean when I left, I had no lotion or oil put on my arms or legs...no massage at all. I got the coupon on Groupon, I can see why they had to do a "coupon special" I was the only one in the place, I will never go back. Today I got the jasmine flowers pedicure. After reading yelp reviews of how BellaBar is a little different than a typical nail salon, I was a bit skeptical but still wanted to try it out. There was a clean and inviting atmosphere. The pedicure and hot stone foot massage were very relaxing. It is a bit pricier than an average salon but the products they use and the atmosphere they provide make it worth it. I don't get pedicures often, but I will come back next time I do get one. read more

This salon is the cutest! I went with my mom and got a gel manicure and was SO happy with the results. Everything is vegan/cruelty free/natural, which means the salon doesn't have that terrible chemical smell like most nail salons. My mani only lasted a week, but that's better than the 3-4 days a gel manicure normally lasts on my nails. The free drinks are a nice touch, and the whole place just feels so fun and girly. I never write reviews but i did not like how i felt leaving the bellabar. I have never been there before. It's a cute little shop that has a multitude of different services. I had gone to starbucks and noticed this little shop right next to it. I saw this beautiful dress that had no price tag. I then asked how much the dress was and after a 5 minutes of research I was told it was 83 dollars. I left and returned an hour later to purchase the dress. She came to charge me and told me its 79 dollars and then as i handed my card she then said it was 89 dollars when i questioned she went online and found a dress that looked nothing like the dress i bought and said its 86 dollars. This is not professional, nor do you want to feel this way when purchasing something. Its just a few dollars and honestly i wouldn't have minded but when you feel like someone is changing the price on you, you walk away with a bad feeling. read more

Such a beautiful and clean salon! I just walked OUT of Happy Nails as I couldn't bare to stay in there more than 3 minutes as the fumes were so over-powering, I could barely breathe! I walked into this beauty bar, which I have been wanting to try, and it was AMAZING! Products used do not contain the typical harsh chemicals found at other salons, and the service was great! They have nice, plush pink sofa chairs, relaxing music and a great atmosphere! I got a pedicure, and she did a fantastic job! I will definitely be going back and highly recommend it! My only recommendation for them is to get massage chairs, which I look forward to using when getting a pedicure. read more

But unfortunately, I didn't feel like it was the best mani/pedi I've had. My pedicure took an hour and it seemed like both ladies I had didn't have much experience. I made it to Bella Bar for the first time to get a manicure. I contacted Bella Bar through email and phone prior to coming, and had an appointment scheduled. I emailed because there was no information listed other than the name of the service and available times. I found the services/event on a publicly available page on the website (prompting my inquiry), that didn't include a description of the services, event, or who was invited (or not). It simply listed service titles and appointment times in half hour increments. The owner responded saying that express treatments were going to be offered and to book it. I was very excited because I've wanted to visit for months and finally had the chance. I arrived and was turned away by Eunice, the owner, because of an error on her part. A networking event was happening, and, like I said, Eunice never mentioned that, despite my advance email and inquiry. Instead of graciously accommodating me despite her mistake, she sent me out of her business. This is truly upsetting. She wanted me to pay full price for an "express" treatment. The cost would be More, because I would be receiving a short, edited express manicure for the price of a standard (more involved) manicure in a crowded and noisy environment. Eunice didn't offer to schedule another appointment, or provide any other incentive to return. I only saw the bevy of one star reviews after my own terrible experience at Bella Bar. read more
