A place with a unique combination of low expectations and low performance. We walked into the place after looking at their online menu and the name seemed the only thing Italian about them. Despite the menu having very limited options, we went in expecting a quick bite and decent food. All we wanted was some food so that pangs of hunger wouldn't wake us up at night. But their performance defied our expectations. The pizzeria is stuck in the past and funnily not even in a glorious one. Arcade machines occupy nearly half of the floor space and it had games that were part of the zeitgeist more than a decade ago. New and engaging games like Floppy Bird and Temple Run to name a few. While one can forgive the lack of innovation in their menu, the food that was served to us disappointed us further. We ordered two Veggie pizzas and Boneless Buffalo Chicken Wings for appetizers. The Veggie pizza was underdone in the middle giving it the distinction of being both crunchy and mushy - mushy in the middle crunchy towards the edges. The excess cheese did not do the pizza any favors and the veggies lacked any significant crunch that would have salvaged this joint's reputation. The wings were seemingly microwaved and the buffalo sauce was more rancid than tangy. While it is along expected lines for chains such as Bellacino's to fare poorly in the innovation of their menus and quality of food (challenges attributed to scaling), the lack of cleanliness at this place truly sets it apart. The tables were not clean, there were food crumbs on the floor, and kitchen equipment had seen better days. All in all, do I recommend that you go here? It's affordable but so are bananas. That is what we ended up doing, going to Walmart and buying bananas. Is it tasty? If you love undercooked pizza dough with excess cheese, this should be on your go-to list. Is it unique? This place used to be the best, I used to come all the time 12+ months ago. I hadn't been in a while until this evening, it was around 5:00 a little early for rush but was surprised for 0 cars to be in the parking lot. There was two ladies on the floor, one was sweeping and one went behind the counter to stand on her phone while we overlooked the menu. After a while looking at the menu, the one sweeping sent some dust into my new shoes. I was taken back by this and looked up at the woman on her phone behind the counter. Settle in. This is going to be lengthy. From of state and we were trying to find something for dinner and since we have a Mancino's back home we thought this place would be promising. I looked at the menu, told my husband what I wanted and then ran to the restroom. Bless his heart..he forgot part of my order but then corrected himself. I guess that was too much for the lady taking the order or she had loose eye sockets because she wouldn't stop rolling her eyes. Look, I respect food service workers because I could NEVER do what they do but DON'T give paying customers bad service. If you can't "put a smile on that face", ask someone else to step in or force it . You will not get good tips or returning customers but you will get bad reviews. And yes, I understand that we all have bad days but c'mon. Luckily the food was almost identical to Mancino's, so we ended on a high note. All of that to say...good food, terrible service. read more

Husband picked it up about 20 minutes later and he heard staff tell a family that came in, that the time is 8:30 pm so the kitchen is closed because the restaurant closes at 9:00 pm. What?! Heavy on the cheese and light on the sauce, only went with pepperoni and the toppings were as light as the sauce. My husband was craving pizza and spaghetti and he didn't want to drive down into Pigeon Forge. I didn't want cook. We decided to try Bellacino's. This was the first time, and doubt we will return. We ordered cheese sticks, a 16in meat lovers pizza, spaghetti, ravioli meal, and two large drinks. After ordering, we got our drinks and I got some napkins because the tables were bare, no salt and pepper, no grated parmesan or red pepper flakes. There was no cutlery, napkins, condiments any kind. My salad, which was apart of my ravioli meal, came out first. It was basic bag, iceberg salad that came out with a packet of captains wafer cracker s and a single packet of honey mustard dressing. read more

We were in town for a week on vacation from northern Virginia and searched Yelp for the best pizza restaurant in town. Based on the reviews and pictures, we chose Bellacino's to take our two young boys (2 & 4) to for lunch. We called ahead to order so we they didn't have to wait (they'd already done enough waiting on the 7 hour car drive and then waiting at all the amusement parks). We walked in and our pizzas and grinder were ready! Our boys were too excited to sit at first though because of all of the arcade games (which were a huge hit). It was so nice to be able to sit down and let them run around and play in the arcade area. The pizzas (large pepperoni & everything) as well as the ham & cheese grinder we're outstanding! We couldn't get over how delicious everything was. It was so good that on our way home, we stopped again for lunch and had another yummy lunch. I wish we had good pizza like this where we live. A couple hours into our drive home, our 4 year old started to panic that he couldn't find his lovey (little giraffe blanket). He was devastated when he realized he'd left it at the restaurant. He takes it everywhere! I called the restaurant from the road and they found his lovey and mailed it to us. He was so happy when it arrived yesterday! Thank you so much, Bellacino's!
