Great job on nails bait and switch pricing not so good. It seems every time I get out of this place the hidden charges and upsells are ridiculous. $20- extra for gel? That is absolutely absurd. I like the job they do but I was even charged more than they quoted me when I got my Amex alert. Unfortunately, I just cannot afford the extra fees for a regular pedicure. Horrific experience. My big toe got infected after receiving a pedicure at this facility. I had to seek the help of a podiatrist to drain the toe and it took weeks to heal. Mignonne nails is not clean and is overpriced for the service they offer. I will never return. read more

Amazing nail salon! I called an hour ahead and they took me in when I came and I only waited a few minutes since they were short staffed. A friend and I had been coming here for awhile and usually had decent experiences, but today I went in and the nail technician started cutting my tips with her scissors and sliced right into my finger. They had to glue it shut to stop the bleeding....and she didn't even notice until she was two nails over and my finger was bleeding on her rag. All of this and they put the nail in crooked. I was bleeding, got a crooked nail, and then didn't properly apologize or even try to give me like 10% off. I wouldn't be so annoyed if I had gotten a discount or my nail put on properly but that's not what happened. So I'm not coming back and neither is my friend. This was my first time here. I was having my gelX removed and gel reapplied and a spa pedi. While my nails currently look pretty from afar they are very bumpy and already showing scuff marks. I been here about 8 times. Only when I'm not able to make it to marina del Rey (my spot). At first, it was a good expierence. A lot more expensive than my spot and definitely not as good service, but I live nearby. I went in three weeks ago for mani gel French. Wow!!! Customer service was awful!!! The woman who was doing my gel was awful (Lee). She got very angry, to the point that her co-worker had to calm her down. Simply because I lasked to wrap my nails for gel removal. I don't like the machine because it removes a layer of my nail bed and of course it burns. Makes them very weak. Mind you, they shouldn't be bothered, after all it's preference and they are my nails. They charged me extra for gel removal (that was new) Yesterday, I was desperate and had no choice but to have them done again. I made the same request, wrap my nails (they are French with clear gel. Very easy to remove). The tech (Elizabeth) she wasn't as rude as Lee, but was bothered. She finally wrapped the nails and insisted on placing very hot towels and a bag around my hands. People, not normal. This is hot chemical on your hands. Simply because they want to rush the process!!! They can't wait 5 minutes. Yet they take personal calls and get up as they please to help another customer! Anyway, my polish was coming off after 7 minutes of sitting there (I timed it). I had to ask the manager to call over the tech (Elizabeth). She did a nice job on the manicure, but wasn't able to do a French. She attempted 5 times. The manager sat there and watched. I got irritated. It was hot and annoying. I asked her to do red instead, but then I realized, wait, it's their job to provide a service that we come in for. If they can't deliver, they need to tell the customer that they are not able to perform such service. We should have a choice. It's on their menu. Yet, they can't do it? I asked the manager if she had someone else. Manager got sooo annoyed and said "I'll try myself" She did such a shit job. With an awful attitude. It was very disturbing. I got charged extra for gel removal and French, eventhough it was a shitty job. I won't be going back. The prices are too high. Service is awful. It's very loud with customers on their cell phone and the techs constantly talking to one another, loudly. I don't understand, we are the customers, it's our hands and feet, if we ask for a service and we have special request, why is it that the staff gets so annoyed??? I can't imagine speaking to my clients in such way. They take things so personal. It's very odd. If they are pissed off about their job, they should bring it to their bosses attention. not take it out on customers. read more

Barely said hi and didn't say anything to me the entire time, but was definitely answering the phone and walking away every 2 minutes. It would have been nice to engage especially since it's my birthday. Then when I went to pay she said the price was $40, then $43, then got on the phone walked away came back and said $45. There website says $40. All the while the lady that was sitting next to me didn't even pay for her nails..... tipped and walked out!!!! The ladies did a wonderful job on a gel manicure and regular pedicure. This review is for the integrity of the establishment. I understand cash payments because you don't have to report everything which is technically illegal. However making your customers use an atm or asking them to Venmo instead of taking a credit card payment isn't right. It's not illegal but it's definitely dishonest. I watched multiple ladies being asked "are you sure you can't pay cash" or "we're cash only". You literally can't say that when you have a credit card machine on the desk. If that is the case then take down the chase credit card machine. Hide it then say cash only. If you are going to do that then put a sign that says cash only on your website and door. Also don't ask if you are going to tip. Tip is not required it's suggested and of course you should but don't demand it. Probably won't be back. read more

I went to this Nail salon manicure (take off nail color powder and get the gel color) and the nail specialist seemed very unprofessional and asked coworker to help multiple times and was not self sufficient. When she cut off dead ski she did not take delicate care if ny hands. She cut my thumb until it eas bleeding, neglected to tell me sorry and put alcohol (shouldnt be used on skin) without warning. I went to get my nails done for the first time with Acrylic+Gel. The lady informed me that applying gel on top of acrylic would make it last longer. However, after only one and a half weeks, two of my nails came off, and in the second week, another one broke. Not to mention, my other nails were also on the verge of coming off. When I went back for a refill, the lady (she introduced herself as Tania) had a bad attitude, roughly handled my hand, and displayed very unprofessional behavior. Additionally, she left my nails uneven and with tissue and edges still remaining, despite the fact that I paid for a manicure as well. Due to these experiences, I will definitely not be returning to that salon again. Moreover, I've also spoken to my friends who used to go there, and they have decided to stop going as well, as they have had similar negative experiences with the unprofessional staff. read more

What an AMAZING nail shop! I've always wanted to come here and I am glad I finally made it. From the moment I entered I was greeted and asked about the service I would like. I attended with a friend to receive pedicures and manicures. We were serviced immediately. I chose a beautiful OPI color and it was so hard to pick because it was so many color choices that is offered at this nail shop. The ladies were so quick , nice and efficient. I love the different options of pedicures that are offered as well as manicure /acrylic options. The shop is beautiful, simple but clean and organized. Being that this nail shop is in Santa Monica you would think the prices would be a little high however I was pleasantly surprised to see the prices were affordable . Not a fan. I live down the street and I'm used to going to Laque nail bar or modern pamper salon. Both a ways distance, but I go for quality. I've been to Mignonne 3 times now and I tried to give it a chance all three but very disappointing. Pictures to follow. I was ok with the length, but color was completely off of what I wanted and I also went with "powder" which he said would last longer. As u can tell in the second photo this was not even 2 weeks.
