First time visiting. Had the place to ourselves, which was nice (for us). It was clean, warm, and inviting. The waitress was fantastic. We started with a cheesy bread with bacon, alfredo sauce, and marinara dipping sauce. I had the sirloin with garlic mashed and asparagus. The wife had the shrimp dinner. Amazing! The marinara sauce was one of the best we've had. Steak cooked perfectly. We will definitely be back. This one goes on the list as our go-to restaurant. read more

Our favorite date night restaurant. It's small but a nice ambience. The food is always good. A casual, comfortable, laid-back atmosphere. We love all of the pizzas and try a different one each time we go. The antipasto salad is delicious, especially with the creamy feta dressing. They ought a bottle of that stuff. It's wonderful. I don't ever do the all you can eat seafood night on Thursdays, but I understand it's pretty good. I did try the fish and chips this last time and I don't think I've ever had better fish and chips. I give four stars 'cause everyone else in my party loves going to Bella's. Folks enjoy the Pizza, the Chicken Parmesan and other dishes. But because I'm gluten intolerant, and have other food sensitivities, my options at Bella's are limited, and they refuse to make substitutions. So, I ordered the grilled fish with mashed potatoes. It normally has green beans as a side, but I can't eat them, so I just left them off. If you don't have any sensitivities, I think you'll find Bella's to be a nice local restaurant with a good selection. read more

I am so disappointed to say that tonight's dining experience was horrific. We were sat at a table, straddling the walkway into the kitchen- literally. The waitresses bumped into us the entire meal. The first steak I ordered was unavailable. The second steak I ordered, while it had good flavor, was overcooked. The wing appetizer didn't come out until we were almost finished with the entree. I suspect that it probably wouldn't have come out then if we hadn't asked. Rather than being honest and just saying she forgot to place the order the server said it just normally takes the wings much longer to cook than the entrees... interesting option for an appetizer. Our server made no apologies or offer to correct the situation. The mashed potatoes and green beans were cold. I won't be back. Disappointing really as I have enjoyed it in the past. read more

Worlds record for smallest chicken wings (x5 out of an order of 10!), which was noted as amusing but unconcerning by the waitress. Pizza was okay, but otherwise unpleasant experience. Bella's is located in a small shopping center. There is plenty of parking. The sidewalk serves as their outdoor dining area. We dined inside, with approximately a dozen tables/booths. There is also a small bar/counter with approximately 3-4 seats. The server stated that she was still fairly new but she did a very good job. She kept our drinks filled and checked on us a few times during our meal. I had baked ziti and a side salad and my sister had a small pizza. The food was freshly prepared and very tasty. The restaurant was very clean. I do recommend this restaurant. I only saw one large table with approximately 8 seats so this is probably a good place for 4 people or less in a party. Was not sure what to expect with this little Italian restaurant located in a strip mall. The wait staff greeted us like we were old friends and communicated that we would be seated as soon as possible. Servers were very friendly and attentive. The interior had quaint decor but not a lot of tables. This is probably why we had to wait about 25 minutes on a Thursday night to get a table. Our group ordered various different dinner entrees. Our food was good but not great. Side salads were good, steaks cooked well, chicken Marsala was not the best with a bit of a different take. The food did seem very fresh. The side salad was good with mixed greens and fresh ingredients. Chicken Marsala was OK but would have liked to have seen it without grape tomatoes and served with an Angel hair or linguine pasta. We love seafood and know our fish so when we received a long, thin fish filet when we ordered the grouper, we knew there was no way it could be grouper. It always bugs me when you go to a restaurant and they try to pass another fish off as grouper. Grouper is usually a thicker cut and always has large flaky pieces. The "not grouper" fish we were served is the main reason I can't give Bella's more than 3 stars. read more

I love this place. It is great food and great service. I was hesitant to write a review as I like that it is mostly locals eating here. I think because it's in a little strip mall, tourist don't realize it's there. Boy, are they missing out. They have the best eggplant parmigiana and usually have a great daily pasta dish. Wow! Almost exactlywhat I was looking for! A cute ambiance and an amazing pizza! I've had pizza all over the world and The Sicilian that I had last night at Bellas was truly a top 10. Howerver, when it came to the 15 dollar eggplant Parmigian dish, I was deeply disturbed by how small a portion was served! In the small cereal bowl or salad dish which was brought to us on a personal sized Eggplant Parmigiana pizza pan, purposed to disguise or to distort the tiny "dinner portion", we found half dollar sized slices of eggplant in approximately a 1/4 cup serving of store bought, pre-packaged spaghetti. I would think that 15 dollars for such a small amount of pasta would warrant a gourmet or homemade pasta. At best, this might have been Barilla but I fear it was Great Value! To be fair, the eggplant was prepared nicely as well as the pasta. The sauce was fair. Having worked in my family's small Italian restaurant for many years, I calculate the actual markup of this particular dish to be somewhere around 70%. Times are tough but this simply isn't fair to the customer! Being a first generation Italian American and a very well traveled consumer of all Italian cuisine, I was very disappointed in this dish. Finally, the owner's response.... when asked if we had received the dinner sized serving and not the children's serving, she sheepishly and almost regrettably or shamefully replied that it was the dinner serving of a handfull of pasta and 3 slices of eggplant. I understand that costs for restaurants have sky rocketed but I was robbed 7 or 8$ last night! This dish would have been the perfect serving size for my 10 year old daughter, not my wife. read more

The lady on the phone was as unfriendly as could be. When I picked up the three pizzas ($72), nobody initially came to greet me. The place was half empty and the two waitresses looked more interested in chatting with friends/guests than talking to me. Lets focus on a calzone that was undercooked. The cheese was unmelted in the middle (but burnt on the outside) that was discovered because I cut it up into small portions so the 6 yr old it was bought for could manage it. He ate a piece before it was discovered. He was grossed out so I told the waitress to take it back and to take it off the bill. She came back and said the owner/cook said since it had been ate on he was going to charge us anyway. She returned with the calzone looking microwaved and half missing. We were shocked at the reply. Once again she was told to take it off the bill that we were not paying for it. She came back after then and said that they were taking it off the bill. The owner is insane to treat the customer that way.... So how was the rest of the meal? Tasteless. The waitress was super nice and was stuck in the middle. Avoid this place.... I guess the owner would rather serve undercooked food to a 6 yr old than to do the right thing. Does he add eggs to his ricotta? Exactly. Who knows so why risk it. read more

This event occurred tonight with my parents. My mom was so mad about it that she called me right after she left to tell me what had happened. First off, the only reason they went here was because Valley Cafe was closed and La Cabana was packed. They had been a couple years ago and the food was bad so they hadn't been in a while. They figured they would give it one more chance because there were no other options. Now they know why this was the only place in town that didn't have a wait. They asked the waitress if they could sub the mashed potatoes for a side salad and she said yes. They had to remind the waitress multiple times to bring the salad and ended up getting it after the meal was served. When the bill came they noticed that they were charged for the side salad so the waitress went to get the manager to take it off. He said to tell my parents "there are absolutely no substitutions." So the poor waitress just said you can take it out of my tip. Of course, my parents weren't going to do this and they decided to just pay the substitution because there was no need to fight with an incompetent and rude manager. So after they paid the bill and were about to leave, the manager stormed out of the kitchen pointed to the wall where it said "no substitutions" and then proceeded to scream at my parents where everyone in the restaurant could hear. My dad said "We weren't reading the wall. We were looking at the menu and the waitress told us you CAN substitute." To that, the manager screamed "no substitutions" then stormed back in the kitchen. My parents overheard several people talking about how rude the manager was and that they will never be back. I hope this incompetent, uneducated, lowlife, scum of a manager sleeps well at night knowing he screamed at two patrons over $1.85 when they WEREN'T EVEN ARGUING THE CHARGE! Ate here Friday night for the first time, and I'm so sorry we haven't been in sooner! WOW! The VEGA pizza is delicious, and the largest I've ever seen. We ate rewarmed pizza (every bit as good) for two days afterward. Kim and Bobby Jo were so friendly we felt like family. My husband was pleased to get an IPA on draft, and I had a generous pour of a good Pinot Noir at the quaint bar ahead of seating for our meal. I like that Bella's offers outside seating, and it's on the shady side of the street. Will be returning soon. read more

Had been to the other Italian restaurant in town as well one over by the Lake, so had to try Bella's. Unfortunately my opinion of not having any great Italian restaurants in town still stands. It wasn't bad but it wasn't great either. If you don't feel like cooking and have a taste for a pizza go for it, just keep your expectations neutral and you'll be fine. read more
