The groomers at Bella's Grooming Boutique were able to take my dog in for a same-day appointment thank goodness. I understand that's not always possible so I was really grateful. It's a really cute little boutique wedged between I think a tanning store and a hair salon so it's really easy to miss if you don't walk directly up to the doors. We entered, I filled out some forms, and she told us it will be about an hour and a half to two hours. After about an hour and a half, she called us and we came right back from lunch. I'm always really hesitant to take my dog to the groomer's because when they hear "pit bull mix", they show a bit of fear and she said as much but she learned very quickly that my dog is very sweet. It was my first time here so the discount was applied and I tipped. They put the cutest bow and bandana on my dog. I love it so much read more

She took extra care to get all the mattes out and talk to me afterward about how to take care of my girls to prevent mattes from dry skin and fur in the future. This experience with my dog was absolutely awful. She hurt my dogs, ears and fried at my dogs eyes. It was the worst experience ever. She is awful the worst groomer ever please stay away from this place she is absolutely horrible and does not stand behind her work I am so sad, and I have cried, and I spent hours at the vet. I left that groomer and spent five hours at the veterinarian to cure my help, my poor dog, and she is the sweetest thing on earth before we went and saw her. We went on a mile walk, and she was happy and go lucky, and we went and saw her, and she was scared and shaking and could not open her eyes she fried the inside of her eyes, blood red, and her ears were so red and absolutely awful. She took every piece of hair out of them. This is the worst place you could absolutely go to. read more

I'm not one to write bad reviews about places, but this place was a HUGE disappointment. I called ahead of time to get a quote for my two dogs and she said $140 for both. I thought it was on the higher side for a small and medium to large dog, but was willing to try it out since it had such great reviews. I dropped my dogs off at 9am and still hadn't heard anything at 1:30pm, so I decided to call. She said they would be done in another 40 minutes. 2:30pm rolls around and still have not heard from them. Called and they were ready. Why didn't anyone call me? I made my way down there and they completely botched my dog's hair due to matting. Totally understand, but my dog looked like a completely different dog. Not to mention $140 turned into $170 without tip and I was nice enough to tip! When I got home to check my dog, they nicked him all over his stomach. I guess it's safe to say I will be sticking with our usual groomer and will not be returning. read more

Since Bella's was close to my home, I decided to try Bella's. My dog weighed 8 lbs.and was 7 years old. She was very skittish and her fur was matted. Evelyn said she would take care of my dog and not to worry that she was skittish. When I picked up my dog, Evelyn told me that because my dog was matted, she had to use a razor, which groomers are not allowed to use. After I picked up my precious dog, she was lethargic, had difficulty walking and wouldn't eat or drink water. The next day, my dog couldn't walk or eat or drink water. She also had terrible breath, which she had never before. I went back to speak to Evelyn to ask her if she had given my dog something like a sedative because she was so skittish. She told me the only thing she gave her was "love". On the second day, I took my dog to our vet. The vet told me my dog had complete organ failure and had had a stroke. Our vet asked me if the groomer had given my dog a sedative or another medication. Needless to say, I had to have my dog euthanized. It broke my heart! Although I don't have proof, I still believe Evelyn gave her medication to sedate my dog. Since Evelyn used a razor to groom my dog, which is not allowed, I would not doubt she sedated and killed my dog! Never, ever take your precious dogs or any other animal to Bella's Grooming Boutique. Unfortunately, there are no agencies that oversee animal groomers and they don't have to be credentialed. They can set up shop anywhere and tell you anything about their qualifications! read more
