Have been getting decent pizza from these guys for several years. But last weekend was a huge disappointment with the 2 slices I was sold on a Saturday night at 8pm. I walked in and saw that the slice selection was pretty thin so I asked are they bringing out any more slice pies as it's only 8pm and they close at 10. The young tall counter boy said "No because we don't get alot of foot traffic......." What!? So you just leave the 5pm slices out til they taste like cardboard, then sell them!? Terrible biz practice!! They should toss those pieces of dried crap and make fresh pies or don't sell slices!! Desperately hungry we bought 3 and after 2 bites tossed $15 in the nearest trash can! read more

So disappointed at this. Just ordered a half California chicken sub from here. First off they give me my food and the bag was so light i opened it before i walked out to make sure my sandwich was in there. I decide to eat in my car and noticed they forgot to put cheese on it. I let that go but as I'm eating i can't taste the chicken. All i tasted was bread with oil and vinegar. Anyway not coming back here. I paid 13$ for a piece of bread with oil and vinegar. Admittedly, I didn't get a chance to try this place as much as I wanted to. I love a good pizza spot. But I can't put up with poor service. Problem is, as other reviewers have said, it definitely felt as though the employees were annoyed by my presence... I don't play that, we all work too hard for our money. I was the only one in the restaurant and it was around two minutes before I was gruffly given attention. The only pizza that I've had good enough to negate bad service was from the legend Dom Demarco. RIP The two stars are for the interior which was modern and well appointed. read more

If your in to getting treated like garbage get your self a decent slice of the vodka pizza or even a pie, but if you know your self worth go someplace else. I do not patronize shitty businesses. I ordered a large pizza pie to be delivered to my family while we were at the beach. I told them what beach we were at and they gave me a call when the driver was getting close. As I walked out to the sidewalk their delivery driver pulled up for the perfect handoff. I have to say it was an excellent pizza and we had a great time at the beach. Really great pizza for an unassuming and unpretentious Italian restaurant. The regular pizza has a nice crispy crust that isn't too thick. The thin crust is more like a bar pie with a cracker type crunch. Both are excellent and made with fresh ingredients. My two nephews devoured an c-large buffalo pie. The pizza is great, I grew up on their pizza and it's been a favorite of my family. I placed a phone order and the customer service was HORRIBLE! I was rushed on the phone and talked over. My cousin just had his baby and since I'm not there I wanted to send his favorite (Bella's) to him and their new family... I get on the phone and the tone was rude and I simply asked can they write "congratulations" on the pizza box (that was ignored) and I was rushed and asked "do you want to leave a tip for the delivery guy?" I said yes and the guy goes "there you go" - Like what does that even mean. I'm all for supporting family business especially since my family supported this business since they opened decades ago! There's other great pizza places around with better customer service. Saved your hard earned dollars and spend where appreciated. read more

I've actually lived in the area since I was born and in all honesty I never knew this shopping center even existed. I was driving down Atlantic Avenue and the group of stores caught my eye so I decided to give it a shot. Very odd place to put a shopping center and I imagine it only caters to locals because I don't see how anyone else would ever know about it. When I saw Bella Pizzeria I immediately looked it up on yelp and saw Wesley's previous review. Not in the mood to take the risk of repeating his negative experience, I thought ordering a sub would be a good alternative. So that is what I did. I ordered their Italian sub -- everything on it.. NO MAYO! I can report back that I thought the sub was ok. It wasn't great and it was definitely nothing that would drag me back to this location anytime soon. BUT it certainly wasn't anything I would complain about. It was just "a-ok". Perhaps when I am feeling a bit more risky I will travel back here and try their pizza. Bellas food is fabulous! Some of our usual meals are the chicken marsala, francese, Murphy or Giambotta. Their eggplant is amazing and the veal is the best! Melts in your mouth you can cut it with your fork!! We even have Bellas cater our Christmas Eve every year! read more

Wow did these guys and girls go above and beyond for me. I'm stupid just to preface this. I had a few too many last night and placed an order for delivery. Not only did they call me since apparently I'm a regular. When they got to my house which is normal for anyone that makes an order and doesnt answer. But they called me the next day to make sure I was alright. I promised to be there to pay for my order today and lo and behold they still had my order in the fridge and even offered to heat it up for me from the night before. He refused to take my $10 tip to the driver, which he begrudgingly took finally, but then only charged me $20 for the order I placed which was easily $40+.
