Delicious sourdough baked goods! We popped in for the advertised sourdough cinnamon buns and walked out with a few more items. The English muffins are massive and so good! The cinnamon rolls were so good! Took them home and warmed them in the oven for breakfast the next day.... The use of sourdough with a sweet baked good was extremely well balanced. Only reason I did 4 stars is that we didn't dine in, so I'm only reviewing for takeout of a few items. I get the impression I'd be going with five stars had we dined in.

It was so cute! We loved the vibe of the place. There wasn't much seating, but we luckily found one. As a warning the parking lot is also parkmobile too. Service was amazing and she was so helpful. We got an iced vanilla honey coffee and an iced vanilla matcha to drink. We also shared a coffee donut, which was yummy, I think it was a yeasted donut. We got a #5 sandwich, the braised pork, and the omelette. The sandwich was good, but it was very oily and greasy we could only finish half. The omelette was AMAZING, so good, so cheesy and the salad that came with it was so delicious.

Super cute spot. I got the "a nice salad" and it was so refreshing! I added turkey for some protein and it came out quickly. It was super busy at lunch time but we were lucky enough to grab a table for 4. The only downside is the lack of parking in Belmont.

In Charlottesville for a weekend and ended up coming to Belle twice for brunch! I highly recommend it, as well as getting there early! ;)

My friends and I got a weekday lunch here. We ate outside and quickly got a table (though the tables continued to be full and turnover). The menu has some great brunch options. I got the special (see pic) and #5. The eggs are incredibly fluffy. You have to get a cinnamon roll! We also got a cardamom donut, which was subtle and unique. Unfortunately, service was very spotty. There were weird gaps in getting our food. Also, the French toast was obviously burnt. I'm keeping at 4 stars for the chill vibe and great menu options. My flat white was also on point.

I loved this little cafe that I had to come here twice when I was in town! This place was just a short walk for me from our airbnb. We came here for some coffee and to get one of their famous breakfast sandos. I was adventurous the first day and ordered #6 which was proscuitto cotto, seasonable jam, gruyere on a muffin. I also ordered a ice latte. My friend ordered a cappuccino and the #2 sando which had bacon cheddar, folded egg on a muffin. We sat outside after picking up our drinks at the counter. Coffee was pretty good. The star is def. these sandwiches. Mine was savory and a hint of sweet from the jam. It was hot, meaty and absolutely delicious! I would walk over here all the time if I lived in this area. The next day I woke up early so I could go get the #1, a cinnamon bun (out of this world tasty!) and a iced mocha. so so good. The staff is also really nice and the cafe space is great for a hang out. I would come back here every time I'm in Cville!

I thought this place was going to be so good based on the line outside the door and the cute inside. I was very wrong though. This was arguably the worst latte I've ever had in my life. My stomach KILLED me after I drank it. The donut was also purely tasted of sourdough dipped in granulated sugar. I also saw the guy in the kitchen handling deli slices of meat and making a sandwich WITHOUT gloves. Like even Burger King uses gloves come on man. Wasted $10 at this place when I should've just tried a different joint. Waste of a cute cafe experience as a tourist, don't come here you'll be sorely disappointed

Amazing huge egg sandwiches and delicious coffee and tea very close to university medical area! They bake their breads from scratch and fresh brewed flavorful iced teas. The line was out the door for good reason. Please visit this gem for breakfast..... so friendly and quick service and we are definitely looking forward to coming back the next time we are in town.

Was a beautiful night for dinner and ate outside on their patio. All our food was spectacular, especially the steak frites and beet salad! The staff were very friendly and atmosphere perfect for a nice relaxing dinner.

This was a very good but unspectacular sandwich. I would definitely recommend giving this place a shot as the prices were fairly reasonable. And the food is incredible fresh. I will definitely go back to try other sandwiches and update this review accordingly. Unfortunately I messed up and did not try their coffee (which by the looks of the ones I saw may have moved the needle a little bit more).

Not sure how I felt about this spot. Went on a Saturday around 12:15pm. They only do their brunch menu on Sunday fyi, but not an issue. I ordered the #6: prosciutto cotto, Gruyère, and I added an egg. For $15, I was rather disappointed: the sandwich was fine but the cheese wasn't melted and prosciutto cotto was almost over powering. $15 for one sandwich with nothing on the side is a bit crazy in my opinion, unless it's an amazing sandwich. Plentiful indoor and outdoor seating, friendly staff. Be prepared to wait a little bit for food, I think I ended up waiting about 20 minutes for my sandwich. And parking lot/street parking is park mobile- not sure how often it's enforced.

Far too expensive for what you get. $15 for a turkey sandwich, seriously! That's just for a sandwich, no side. Seems arrogant. Speaking of the sandwich, it was slopped up with multiple sauces and dripped all over the place. I didn't finish the second half because it was so sloppy and squishy. My partner's sandwich was burnt, but he powered through. My daughter said the avocado toast was fine, but she was hungry within a couple hours. Bottom line- too much money for too little food that is very OK. Would not go back.

Croque Madam and the #1 breakfast sammie

Cute little spot with wonderful food, service and drinks. We swung in for a quick brekky and coffee fix. You order at the bar, we got the Croque Madam and one of the breakfast sandwiches along with a nutella empanada of sorts that was delicious! Very popular (for gppd reason) and we happened to get lucky when coming in there was an available spot to sit (late morning, week day) - id say be prepared to wait on a weekend Parking was limited in the lot but street parking was easy to find :)

The mains came out around 30+ minutes. A bit long imo. Overall food was good, not great. Most disappointing was the tomatoes that lacked flavor. The crab Bennie was pricey and fell flat. My wife and daughter both enjoy their dishes, but eggs were somewhat dry. Coffee was very good. It's a beautiful place with outdoor option. But the food is over hyped and pricey. The service was rushed. I still will go back. 3.5 rounding up for atmosphere.

Squeaky clean hardwood floors all over. Tasteful old furniture. Every staff member I spoke to was polite, courteous, and happy to help. The self serve stations for hot coffee, tea, and cold water was a convenient resource outside of the door. This inn appears to be made of several former homes that were turned into a campus of buildings making the Oakhurst Inn. It's not a single building. The small lawn in the center of the complex has benches, hammock, and a fireplace that seems welcoming and nice, but I wasn't aware of them until I left. There were a few problems during my stay. The inn requires guests to use valet parking which is $40 per night, not disclosed before my stay, and often required a long wait for the valet to return. This makes it hard to retrieve anything you need from your car. The front desk staff are often missing from the front desk - I had to wait 15 minutes for someone to come back and check me in on arrival. Likewise, the bartender is often away from station and you might wait 10 or 30 minutes for the bartender to return. There is no mini fridge or microwave in the hotel rooms. The pool area was extremely dark at night, making it tricky or dangerous to navigate. The pool water was lukewarm, not warm at all. The sauna was out of order and the doorway was small and obscured by chairs. Not accessible and difficult to find. This inn has no gym. The lobby is very small and has no seating for guests or places to hang their luggage, although the nearby lounge has a few leather couches and a fireplace that doesn't appear to be working. Not the most welcoming or convenient. Overall I don't think it's worth the hefty price tag and would stay elsewhere when I return to Charlottesville.
