I happened to be in Belle Meade when the crossmember/ transmission mount broke and was hanging down. Looked like my transmission might fall on the ground and made scary noises when I hit any divitts in the road. Yelped garages nearby and called about a half dozen places that didn't seem to want to be bothered/ weren't able or willing to help. Then I called Belle Mead Garage. They told me to bring it over. They put it on the lift immediately after having a look and half an hour later, had me happily back on the road. They were able to bolt it up but did recommend I follow up with my mechanic and have it welded. I was just looking for a band-aid repair to get me back to the city. I was quite pleased with the assessed cost of $65. Thank you, Kip and Mark! If I lived in the area, these would be my guys. I think they care. Great customer service. read more

Never again !! I'm sorry I didn't take them to court .!! Just a simple antifreeze flush turned into a real nightmare.

I was shopping for a disc harrow. Belle Mead responded within a day from my email. Every other email was answered in less than 12 hours. Their price for the harrow was cheaper by $200. The guys loaded me up as I was filling out paper work. Very nice, explained features I didn't know about. Highly recommend for tractors and implements. read more

Worse experience of my life. They charged me extra shipping charges and didn't even give the part!!! Who does that! They did nothing to make it right at all. So, be sure, if you want to have your money taken, and have your car ruined go here. I have been going here for years and found that they are the most reputable and honest car repair shop I have ever dealt with. Being a woman I have been a victim of some very shady shops that are only there to make a higher commissions by doing work that may not have needed to inflate the costs. When I take my car here I know that I will get the work done professionally and provided with an honest evaluation of the work that is required at a fair price. 5 things: 1, I don't do reviews. 2: I hate new car dealers. Use leasing companies instead.I never go into one except for a test drive, and even then, I need a shower. 3. Belle Meade is a find. If you need a tractor you couldn't do better. They're nice! helped me out with a few after sale maintenance issues (all my bad, not the tractor) over the phone without needing a visit. Brilliant; they know their stuff, and the deals/inventory are just right on. 4: The MF GC17 is a brute. Don't let its size fool you, it can just get into tighter spaces. Better than Kubota at half the price; and finally 5: Like all diesels, this thing just wants to run. Have Chris give you a quickie lesson about clean fuel, oil and bleeding and you're good to go for many years. read more

Simply the best service in town! I called Kip at Belle Mead Garage after my mom's car would not start - he came to her home within a 1/2 hour and jumped started the car and brought it back to the garage to check it over. Turns out it needed a new battery which he took care of. He did a complete check of the car to make sure it was safe for her to drive. It was ready for me to pick up the following day. I went here the first time last week. They were great to give my car a look even though it was covered under warranty and not sure if it would be something I could have done there. I took a different car not under warranty there a few days later to have the ABS system fixed. They gave me a loaner for the day and fixed it with a very fair price. I've found if you stop in the am, they can usually fit you in for a look last minute. It was a nice change of pace to be at a garage not pushing customers through like they are numbers, and explaining everything to me without treating me like I was clueless! Thanks Belle Mead Garage! This garage has no customer service skills, and needs an attitude adjustment.my husband left his car to have air conditioning repaired. They filled with refrigerant , replaced o ring and Put in dye to detect leak and said no leaks found. In 2 weeks the air conditioning stopped working. For 200 dollars , you would think the problem would have been diagnosed or solved . Now they are saying that doing this dye test does not guarantee the leak would be found the first time around. Really- would anyone throw out 200 dollars if they thought that the problem was not fixed.... Seriously. When I spoke to the owner , he did not want to do anything . I do not recommend this garage at all , as they don't stand beside their labor and make excuses . As a business owner the customer service was lacking and the knowledge that word of mouth , and a bad review , is sometime worth trying to come to a compromise.i will dispute the charge as well. I would not even give 1 star , but I had to rate and minus is not a category. read more

I was very happy to find Belle Mead Garage while looking for a car for my son. After many hours dealing with the typical dealership nonsense we came to Belle Mead Garage. Family owned and operated, they were great to deal with. The car was as described in the advertisement, no pressure, a test drive that was long and gave a good chance to assess the car. After an inspection a deal was done to purchase the car at a fair price. Ready for pick up as promised. I wish I could give Belle Mead Garage 20 stars!!! I have been buying my vehicles here since 1992. Their service is ABOVE AND BEYOND INCREDIBLE!!!! I have tons of examples of times they have gone out of their way to accommodate me. I feel like they treat me like I'm part of their family. MANY times I have told people that Belle Mead Garage should teach a course in customer service to other businesses. We got off on a wrong foot initially. I had made an appointment with Kip to do the deal on my car. I arrived at the appointment time to find out he had left to go somewhere. He called as soon as he returned and apologized profusely. He said I could come at that time. I could not leave the house as my children were due to get off the school bus. He asked if it was okay if he came over. He arrived in my driveway within 10 minutes with the vehicle I had been interested in purchasing so that I could look it over again and ask any questions that I had. We then sat at my kitchen table and did the paperwork. Now that is SERVICE! Anyone can make mistakes but what speaks volumes to me is how you make up for it. That spoke volumes to me about what sort of business they are and how the value the customer. Everything from there went uphill. They have never disappointed me again. The service department is terrible. They took forever just to rotate my tires then they lost the center Cap to my wheel and refused to help me replace it. Not worth the time, money or trouble to go to this place. They gave me a quote of $25 to rotate my tires then they charged me $40 because he said my car was more difficult to get the tires off. MY REVIEW IS ALL POSITIVE! I am giving KIP & his TEAM, 5 STARS !!! I have had many experiences with The Belle Mead Garage. My husband and myself have our trucks serviced and have had NO problems at all. Everyone involved in the business goes over and beyond being very professional, caring and HONEST, which is HUGE for me!!! I relocated my business to across the street and send my clients over frequently to have Kip and his team work on their vehicles. I know I can TRUST Kip and his TEAM to do nothing less than a PERFECT job. My client's trust me with referrals and now they TRUST the Belle Mead Garage and they all come back to thank me. Now for KIP!!!! He is a HERO!!!!!!! My clients lock themselves out of their cars and they panic! I tell them "give me 3 minutes". They all look at me like "WHAT". I make a call to Kip and my HERO arrives! My clients are stunned. Within minutes they are driving away again. Even when their car does not start, my HERO arrives once again, he looks under the hood and the car starts. Not sure how that happens but to me that"s a miracle! One of my client's was turning into my driveway and her vehicle was broadsided at high speed. I heard the crash. I had maybe 10 seconds to get to a window. There was my SUPER HERO standing right next to my client in the drivers seat, with the airbag wrapped around her face, she was dazed and he was trying to comfort her in a state of overwhelming panic. Her vehicle was totalled and I was most grateful KIP was on the scene in a flash. But what amazed me even more is that KIP put his life in danger for a complete stranger, as traffic on Rte 206 was just driving right around this horrific scene. So as I conclude my review just keep doing what you do best Kip because I appreciate YOU and everyone of my clients that you and your TEAM have done work for appreciate YOU.
