I called and made an appt. for 12:00. Appt was for a simple tire rotation and alignment. Arrived and gave them the keys and went to lunch at Panera. Came back at 12:45 and my car hadnt yet even moved to the shop. At 1:00 pm I asked the guy sitting next to me what he was there for. He said he had been sitting there since 9:30 am to check his battery and alternator and they still hadnt pulled his car into a bay yet. I then spent five minutes at the front desk while two guys were in the back office socializing away just to get my keys back so I could leave. Apparently there is no point to making an appt. They were NOT busy. Two cars in stalls when I arrived. Counted 10 staff between front lobby and in stalls. Staff didnt care and lots of standing around socializing in stalls And on their phones. Front desk left unattended quite often. If you are the business owner of this site and tead this there is no way you are making money. The maitenance services that make the real money for you are being ignored. Staff costs compared to work being done there is no way a profit is being made. read more

Discount Tire refused to sell me just one but 4 of them for $300 and wanted to buy four brand new tires which I just bought last summer! Outrageous! This place did all four of my golf cart tires last year. I called Tuesday and was told to just bring my tire in. I had a blowout. These tires are almost the size of a car tire. So, I get there and now they're telling me they never did it. Then they blame some guy named "Mike" for doing them and not supposed to!!! They said they needed a special cage. Well, why wouldn't they have one then. Be a real tire service and be able to replace any tire like the commercial says. They lost a customer today. I'm going to find a better tire service. Brought my girlfriends 2018 Lexus LS500 in for an oil change and before the next oil change service due current mileage 55923 and sticker is 57889 and my oil is low. So I called and asked for them to look at it because my oil is low. Mike the asst. manager insisted that my car was leaking oil and saying that my car is possibly burning oil and that he does this everyday and sees newer cars burning oil all the time? After looking at the receipt I noticed they oil put 6.1qts of oil and my car requires 6.7qts and he says it's better to have low oil than to much oil? I took my car in on 8/7/24 for an entire set of new tires. On 8/10/24 my front driver side tire was almost completely FLAT. I called to see if they could fit me in and take a look; they said they were booked so I went to the location on Gull Rd in Kalamazoo. They stated my valve stem was not tightened properly; quick fix and I was on my way. While driving on the highway that SAME day I felt my car pulling to the left. I checked my tire pressure once I got home. Front drivers side was fine, BUT now my rear drivers side tire was almost flat. They seemed to have little to no empathy. I waited six hours for them to give me a phone call to ask if they have my permission to do the work that I drop the car off six hours ago for. Three hours later, they tell me that they are incapable of removing the bolts to get to the headlight that needed to be replaced. When I return to pick up my car, they offered three outrageous estimates that were over twice the regular price for services that my car did not need. A few months ago we had over 1000 in work put into our car, right away belt was squeaky. We were told 80 to look at work they did then had to argue that parts they just put in are under warranty. The water pump they put in now also makes a noise and we are told once again it's 80 to look at it. It's their non quality parts and their lack of professionalism that has me coming back a third time. Very disappointed, we are now going to muffler man and Firestone who both agreed that belle tires work on my vehicle was very shotty and definetly not professional. read more

Listen, if you're a woman they will take you as a fool and try to finesse you or be rude. Car was dropped off at night to take care of the wheel in morning. Next day they say the tire has a problem and it might blow out although that tire was changed 3 days ago. He had taken the pin out of the tire and let it deflate. He also stated to get a tow truck since the car can't drive no longer. Even when talking to a man the guy stood his ground and said the car is in bad shape...the car is completely fine. I took both my step sons car and my daughter car in, my step sons got new tires and alignment my daughters car just an alignment. Both cars the alignment was not corrected. I talked to the store about them and they said to bring them back in. My daughter lives in Muskegon and took her car to the store there when she got there they told her that because of the alignment she needed new tires. I looked at the tire I know they are getting wore but close to needing replacement but not so bad that it was dangerous to drive on. The Manager at the Muskegon store tried to take guilt trip her about not getting new tires and took advantage of my daughter he wouldn't let her leave without paying for another alignment and the additional warranty although I just paid for it one a week earlier. read more

I took my flat tire in to get it repaired the only problem with the tire was a leaky valve stem. There were no other leaks or problems with this tire. My son is a licensed auto repair person and he was the one who checked the tire out and told me what was wrong with it. Belle tire took the tire in the back and came out to tell me that there was a puncture in my tire. Mind you this was not there when I brought it in to them. I was told that they do this to try and sell you a new set of tires by a previous Belle tire employee. Because my tires were purchased this past November they are still under warranty thank goodness. Brought my truck to this location because the competitors up the road are unreliable. Got in relatively quickly for a Friday afternoon. I informed them that I have a small leak in a tire. The technician/mechanic took my truck into the bay and lifted it up. He sprayed the tire with air and then dropped it back to the ground. He squealed the tires backing out of the bay and parked my truck. The front desk called and told me my truck was done. I asked what was done. I was told that the tech reported that he rebuilt the wheel but couldn't find anything wrong with the tire. I clarified what "rebuilt" meant and was told that he put a new valve stem on and cleaned the inside of the tire. I asked if he removed the tire in order to do this and was told yes. My tire was never taken off the truck. I asked if they dunk the tire for a leak and was told yes. What a racket. They were going to charge me for spraying my tire with air! I don't think so. So, now I wait a second time for a tech to fix my tire. Won't be coming back here again. For all this, I simply got an I'm sorry from the front desk. UPDATE: So, after another 20 minute wait, the same tech walked back out toward my truck. I said absolutely not, asked for a manager, got my keys and left! Lyft requires an inspection of the vehicle prior to starting as a driver. Belle tire has an arrangement with Lyft to pay for this inspection. Even though my car passed inspection, I was informed that my right front wheel bearing needed to be replaced. They quoted $231.00. I bought the part and took it to a friend who can repair most anything on the car. I witnessed him check both front bearing only to find they were still in perfect condition. Buyer beware. read more

Used their tire valet service. Took about 4 hours to just change the tire and used wrong nuts for the tires. Their excuse is that "it's all same. Just design". After they asked us to bring the nuts that were on the tires, and they made that comment. I am glad that I am moving out of this city for good within a month. Awesome customer service and very knowledgeable employees!!! I called them and asked if I needed an appointment (for 4 new tires) or walk in, they said 1st come 1st serve. Which made it easier for me because I could drop car off whenever (for a hr) and not have to stress about keeping an appointment and finidng a ride etc. When I picked my car up they had told me everything looked good and was all set, which I didn't know they did free break checks so there's another plus added to the list of things they keep doing when you buy tires from them!!! read more

Easy access from the highway and once you get tires, you get free checks and tire rotations. Sometimes we make an appointment, sometimes we just call ahead to see if they were busy. Today we called ahead. Our reason to visit: when it got really cold a few weeks ago my battery died.. a couple times. It's about a year old and checked out fine, leaving the alternator, belts, or the cold as a possibility... thinking I was getting close to needing a rotation I had them do that and check my belts and alternator. Belts, alternator, and battery checked fine (it was REALLY cold). When they rotated and checked the tires they found a construction staple in a tire causing a slow leak (I thought it was just air loss from cold even though that was lower than the others). Patched and back on the road. Cost: $0 Star lost for it taking about 2hrs but thankfully Panera Bread was next door. read more

Update - corporate customer service director has been a pleasure to work with and is doing everything he can to make the situation right. I still stand by Belle Tire as a good company to work with, just wouldn't visit this particular location.. Note all of the good reviews of this location are from several years ago. We used to bring our vehicles here for everything from oil changes to large repairs. New management changed that... Customer service and apparently competency have gone out the window here. Our most recent experience involves them draining all of our coolant and not refilling it before giving the car back. They also charged us for a replacement windshield wiper and never installed it. The subsequent repair took 3 days longer than they said it would. And to top it all off, when we arrived to finally pick up the vehicle, they informed us that they backed it into a snow plow and damaged the rear hatch. Michael, the manager, decided that the best defense was a good offense and started to belittle us and tell us that we were being unreasonable for being upset about the situation. Michael finally said he would refer our complaint to the customer service director whom would call me back. 4 weeks later and I still haven't received a call...... Wouldn't suggest this place to my worst enemy now that Michael is the ringleader of the circus. read more

Not a lot to say on their level of service because I had to take my car back before they could get to it. Having had great experiences with the Belle Tire on Gull Road in Kalamazoo, I kind of expected the same thing when I went in to get the oil in my 2001 RAV 4 changed this morning in Battle Creek. I only had about an hour and thought I'd give them a try. There was only one car in the bays and nothing (that I saw) lined up ready to go in. The man at the counter said I would be the next one in and it would take an hour or so to get my oil changed and his suggested tire rotation. I gave him my keys and went to the nearby Burger King for lunch. Came back 50 minutes later and about 4 bays were full and my car was in the lot (same spot) so I figured they were done but hadn't called me yet. Unfortunately, they hadn't gotten to it. Not anticipating the car being done anytime soon, I got my keys back and went back to work. The desk staff was friendly but just wish they had let me know if there was an unexpected issue getting my car in for a standard oil change, especially when I had a conversation with them on timing. read more

My friend took her car for a routine tire rotation. The technician placed the car lift pads on the side moulding (ground affects moulding) and raised the car. Since the car has some corrosion on the rocker panels, the side moulding mounting clips were all broken. The manager admitted that the car was lifted incorrectly, but refused to compensate my friend who now has unsightly damage to her otherwise pristine 1997 Chevy Cavalier. The one thing you would expect from a tire store is having trained people who know how to properly lift a car. A bad assumption. Got my oil changed there and my tires rotated at 5000. They've grown a lot so the trick here is to do a cruise by and make sure there's room in the shop. If you cruise and see their's room then you get in there. If there's room they'll get you in and out for simple maintenance. Finding a mechanic you can trust is a big deal and i trust these guys. I had previously got my Toyota Matrix an alignment at a shop in Redwood City, CA before driving to Michigan for college and work. My car would pull to the right and had severe steering wheel wobble at 70mph. They didn't completely fix the issue - in fact, they made it worse. Nor did they let me know of anything odd about my suspension or tires. Having lived in Battle Creek for the past 2 months, and driving an hour total each day for work, I decided to finally bring in my car to get an alignment and wheel balancing. I spoke with Robert over the phone to discuss prices and availability to bring my car to the shop. The prices given to me were really good and decided to bring the car in Saturday mid-afternoon. I brought my car in and gave them the keys, and I sat in their waiting room. Nice area with magazines and a TV (playing Back to the Future, can't be unhappy about that!). 20 or so minutes later, Robert called me over to the garage to take a look at my car. All the wheels were pulled off, and they brought my attention to the condition of the tires. All four were completely shot! One was even worn down to the wire. That was the apparent cause of my steering and wheel wobble issues. Thank goodness Belle Tire was having a tire sale, $120 off a set of select tires. Robert pulled three estimates for different tires, and after a little contemplation, I chose the mid-price option of Toyo Extensa A/S. They also did a front alignment job along with the new tires. They finished the job very quickly and let me know about an issue with the rear torsion beam that would require a shim installation on one side to straighten it out. Despite the issue, they aligned my car so that the life of the tires would not be affected. I then took my car for a spin to make sure the issues were corrected, and I was extremely happy to find my car drove straight with no steering wheel vibrations at high speed. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone looking to get alignments or tires. They do most other repair work, too. They're very patient with any questions you have and are honest about their work. read more

First and foremost I don't even believe this place should get a damn star at all. You provide a tire service, hell its even in your name. My girlfriend and I travel for a living. I stay pretty on top of taking care of her vehicle. I'm writing today because after having our vehicle serviced and purchasing new tires we were just informed from another company that the work y'all did awhile back was just a hack job. How does one miss a cracked rim? I'm gonna say that someone at this location obviously saw it, patched it with tape and sent her on her way. Is that company policy? Do your techs even care about their customers? I know the damage has been done, obviously we won't be returning to any of your locations, but I highly recommend you take a closer look into your employees.
