Belle Tire on Haggerty near Meijer store: Great service. Accurate diagnosis. Did not try to sell me more than to fix my tire. People who helped me were consciencious, checked status of my tire repair and kept me informed. Serviceman who worked on my tire problem, removed a screw from my tire(!!!) at no.charge! They could have sold me a new tire and I probably wouldn't have been the wiser. But they didn't. Serviceman was honest. Long wait. But I was informed wait would be lobg. I was driving to the office today (Wednesday afternoon at 130) and the low pressure light went on in my car. It was a little concerning, because the same thing had happened Saturday night, when I had filled all four tires up with equal pressure. Now, one tire was showing 5 pounds less pressure! Since i drive a LOT, I drove straight to Belle, expecting to be put on hold, or told to come back tomorrow. In fairness, I had bought all four tires from Belle, and had the warranty on them. Guess what? NEITHER of those happened. They took me right in, and told me it might be as much as two hours. Half an hour later it was ready. There was a screw in the tire that they had replaced. HALF AN HOUR!!! Thanks Belle Tire! I know where I'm coming back to when I need a new set of tires! read more

I was considering coming in to get my tire patched after I just put air in my tire and noticed it was leaking air, but there was no parking space. As soon as I tried to park, put my hazards on, (mind you it was going to be a quick request for assistance), I was told I couldn't park there. Where else was there to park?! I have always been concerned that I live in MIchigan and we get ALL four seasons and when we get them they don't come in lite they come in like a beast. So I just had my recent check up on and I ALWAYS get my tires rotated and balanced with every oil change so I get the maximum life outta my tires and these Bad Boys have lasted me a very long time thankfully because of the tire rotation and balancing and making sure you get a tire that's rated for good mileage AND snow and water traction. The reason for this is because as I said, "I live in Michigan" so I did my research and I looked at mid and higher end tires which can range from an extra $30-$50+. I last time bought some high range tires from Michelin called Defenders. I've gotten good traction in summer and winter and long tread life so they were at the top of my list for replacements. I also considered Bf Goodrich Advantage and Michelin Cross Climate 2 They're all rated fairly similar in categories that are important to me. After much debate I decided to go online to Belle Tire and order me a pair of Michelin Defenders HT the new version of my old babies (so sad when they grow up...) but these new ones had everything I was looking for and included a Belle Tire and Michelin rebate so I basically got a big discount on one tire or free installation and taxes, which ever way you wanna look at it. I'm having the tires installed now. I made the appointment yesterday online and the tires arrived from the warehouse the next day. I HIGHLY recommend making an appointment with purchase or if they're busy you're going to be waiting a while for a tire change. Installation includes free lifetime flat repair, balancing and rotation and a few extra goodies for $107 . All in all I'm glad I was able to get the sale and work with this location to get my tires installed. The discount for Black Friday helped out a lot. This tire is a great all around all year all weather tire. If you want something that's specific to winter but and all around check out the Cross Climate 2 it has its perks and drawbacks compared to other all seasons. For me the 80k mileage road warranty and a great past experience with the Defender series was what sealed the deal. I recommend calling ahead to confirm your appointment. Happy Travels read more

I purchased a used GMC a few months ago, for my daughter. The vehicle needed all new tires and the work was completed by Belle Tire - Haggerty location. Yesterday, my daughter called and state that the "check engine" light had come on the evening before and was afraid to drive it. She took it to a PerBoys nearest her location. They ran a diagnostic and proceeded with the worst case scenario at $3,000.00. She a young girl and she immediately called me to discuss the situation. I drove from Troy, picked up the vehicle and drove to Belle Tire. They ran the diagnositic and came up with the same code. The difference was - they did a vehicle inspection and found what the issue was... it has a slow oil leak and was in need of 4 quarts of oil. That was it. $30 vs $3,000 - I paid the diagnostic fee plus oil and the immediate problem was resolved. I appreciate Belle Tire in the fact that they do not manufacture the worst case scerario's so that they make the most profit. We discussed how to get the vehicle serviced (at dealership) and the service was complete. I will continue to have my vehicles serviced at Belle Tire - and a shout out to Paul. Awesome, professional and even though they were busy, gave me the time needed to discuss my options. Appreciate you. read more

I've been to this one many times before and never had a problem. I took it in today, same thing got it fixed, no complaints. All I had to do was pay, pickup my keys and be on my way. The guy, I think the manager, handed me back my car key minus the keychain. I looked at it and asked, "Where's the rest of it?" He shrugged and say that was all they had. I insisted that I left my entire keychain attached to it, like my house keys, mail box keys. My life was attached to that keychain. There was no oh let me see, or let me look in to it. He couldn't care less, very condescending and zero customer service. I finally paid and he was like -- thank you have a nice day. And I'm like: No, screw you! You don't mean that, because then you would have looked into what happened to my keychain. My day has most definitely been ruined, because now I don't have access to my house or mail. I got to my car hoping that perhaps the keychain might have fallen or was somewhere in the car, but no. However, when I tried to put my key in the ignition, I figured out what happened to my keychain. It was still attached to my car key. He gave me someone else's key. When I went back, I discovered that I also paid for someone else's bill too, $50 more than mine. That's two big oops! The guy was not at all sincere or apologetic. While doing the refund, he was still very much condescending. If he had done some problem shooting, or taken an interest in the first place he would have realized his mistake. I am giving this place two stars and not one, because my car was fix and I was able to get back into my house. It's not the mechanic's fault that the font desk clerk was a jerk. Finding quality auto care that is consistent and reliable can be difficult today. My experiences with this Belle Tire location have never been anything but fantastic. I have been coming to this store for over ten years and have never been disappointed with their services or their products. I have purchased many tires for my vehicles over the years along with countless oil and windshield wiper changes and was delighted with how convenient it was to get in and have my car worked on. Last year I purchased snow tires for my vehicle and learned Belle Tire has a valet service for the summer tires I replaced. That is convenient and awesome from my perspective. I have always found their staff courteous and highly professional. I am surprised by some of the negative comments indicating otherwise. In all my time coming to this location the communication with the staff has been clear and concise. My recommendation is that if you want your car serviced, either make an appointment or get in prior to their store opening at 8:00 AM. Their pricing is fair and again from my perspecitve they go out of their way to help their customers without being rip off artists as is so common in this industry. I highly recommend this Belle Tire location. Get you car serviced here and you will not be disappointed. While dealer operations have improved their service support if you think they offer a better alternative to Belle Tire i must be to differ. read more

Buyers beware, honestly if your going here for tires or an oil change your fine, however if your going to Belle Tire for other mechanical repairs research all part costs before you do. I just took my daughters 2010 Merc Mariner in for tire rotation, a oil change and belt inspection. Belt and tensioner were due to be replaced normally I would research the part costs ahead of time, but I couldn't this time. Well they charged me almost 3 times the cost of the tensioner and nearly 3 times the cost of the serpentine belt. Disappointing Belle Tire is marketing up parts this much, honestly I am surprised. No more mechanical work at Belle Tire; to bad because other work they have done did not have this same issue and their work is high quality. I could see this if their labor costs were lower, but they are $125 an hour so all they are doing is price gouging the consumer on parts. Disappointing for what I always thought was a reputable company. read more

I've been a customer at this Belle Tire off and on for the past 10 years. I bought a set of tires for my 2001 Focus and was happy with the tires and the service. I strayed when i needed the 2nd set and went with a better deal at a dealership. I came back to Belle when I had a cracked rim on my 2008 Taurus. The dealership wanted over $1500.00 to replace the rim. They don't do repairs. Belle was able to get the rim repaired for $200.00 When I had a slow leaking tire on my 2007 Fusion, I again brought my business to Belle Tire. I needed an oil change and tire rotation so I had them do this also. Price was the same as a quick change place and they fixed the slow leaking tire for free! The customer service was great. This visit was the have my vehicle inspected prior to an extended road trip. My concerns regarding how my vehicle was handling were confirmed! Brought in my Sprinter for some Brake work. Everything was good until I drove it back home and MY BRAKES STOPPED WORKING. I brought it back again, turns out the "technicians" there had destroyed my brake line (by accident of course). My brake line was in perfect condition until I brought it there, how convenient. They lied and said my brake line was in rough shape but actually it wasnt. Unfortunately, since I could not prove they broke it there was nothing I could do. People make mistakes but at least they should own up to them. The manager here is also a complete scum bag. Not all Belle Tires are bad but this location is horrible. The people who work at this location are sketchy and have no integrity. I have heard horror stories about these guys diagnosing issues with peoples cars that do not really exist. I have been a customer of this Bell Tire for five years. I have had them replace tire pressure sensors and my tires. The beginning of October I went to have them replace yet another tire pressure sensor because the stem was cracked. I also had them rotate and balance my tires while I was there. The counter person came out and looked at all of my valve stems and commented that the other 3 are already new and in good shape. I had 2 of the newer rubber ones, a replaced metal one, and one original metal one. I paid for the service including the tire pressure sensor. The weather has gotten cold so I stopped to add air. As soon as I touched one of the caps to remove it, it blew off. I looked at all the valve stems and there as still only two rubber ones. Somehow in the process of rotating my tires, they didn't replace the sensor but did put a new cap on it. I thought no problem. They have always been good to me. I went in after work and they refused to put the new sensor in that I had already paid for. They had a perfect opportunity for a customer service moment but they completely blew it. They were rude and had no interest in making it right. I finally walked out and went next door to Discount Tire. They were very helpful. If I was going to pay for another sensor, I certainly wasn't going to pay Bell Tire for it. They have lost my and my friend's and family's business. Go next door to Discount Tire. read more

Best of all, since it's my first visit they didn't charge for the repair! Only ask that I return for any tire service or replacement. That's what I call great customer service ! Worse than awful! I went in to buy a set of tires with a car in PERFECT condition and walked out w/ alignment problems and a damaged tire sensor. Somehow this wasn't their fault, but after I signed the paperwork and paid they more or less finally admitted it. Save yourself some trouble, go somewhere else where you and your car will be respected and treated well. IF you save money there (doubtful) you'll end up spending more in the end to fix their f%$k ups. read more
