Unfortunately, these people even can't take the wheel from the car. First time I visited them , they told me I have wheel lock and I need to go to dealership to take it off. When I was at home I checked (should've done it earlier) the wheels and there was no lock! I went where again next day to have wheels and tires installed. This time wheels was not the right size even though I purchased them at discount tire website and they were a good fit for my car according to website. This time I was offered to purchase another set of wheel, which I agreed to. I came there next time and they told me that wheels arrived but they are wrong even though over the phone they told me they will work 100%. My experience at this particular location on Haggerty Rd in Commerce Twp/West Bloomfield is exceptional. As I am entering through the door, an associate also walking in welcomes me and acknowledges that someone will be with me in a moment. Having many years of customer service experience myself, I know acknowledgement and communication is the best way to keep loyal clients. Within a minute a second gentleman walks into the front area and energetically greets me as well. This was Justin R. His positive friendly attitude is a perfect way to start anyone's day. He actually seems to enjoy his work. His professionalism, communication, politeness and accommodating positive manner can land him a job anywhere...so take care of him. Within 30 minutes of arriving for a tire rotation, Tyler smiles, thanks me, hands me my keys and tells me to drive safely. I noticed as I was waiting for my Honda Civic, the whole team there impressively works quickly, efficiently and knows the meaning of teamwork. The service rocks at this tire place. I had a tire that kept going low. I took the car in and the staff looked at it right away. They removed a nail and I was on my way. The service was fast. I came in on Good Friday needing 2 new tires. The store was busy and was going to close at Noon. However, the people at the service counter moved quickly through the line and I was promised to be out the door in 1:15. Everything was explained thoroughly and I never felt like I was being pressured to purchase more expensive tires. All my questions were answered. When my car was being serviced, they discovered (contrary to the computer stock numbers) that the tires I purchased were not in stock. I was upgraded without charge. Pulled in because I noticed a nail in my front driver side tire. Within minutes my car was on a lift being inspected. Within five minutes the problem was identified and they brought me back to show me. No problem I was told a fix would take just a few more minutes. I went back inside. Boom. Five minutes, maybe less, and it was done. I went to the desk to have the repair written up. I assumed that maybe it would cost $25 or a little more. When the clerk handed me my receipt I had my C/C pulled out. I asked how much do I owe. I was told no charge, just consider us if you ever need tires. I am grateful for the kindness of Discount tire. Just a note. This location is next door to a Belle tire. I had stopped in there first and was told they would need an hour to an hour fifteen minutes. Lots of guys standing around and few cars in the bays, but still way to long to drop in and wait. I did not ask how much I just went next door to Discount Tire- they were busy so I had assumed in my mind I was going to hear the same thing. I've had my tires serviced, rotated and filled here for decades. I have always appreciated the level of service from this busy location. I recently had my Mustang taken here to fix a leak in the rear tire and had to replace all four (They were due for replacement; no hard sell) When I saw the new tires the next day, they looked larger to me than the Pirellis I had originally. I returned to the store to complain and Juliano took the time to explain that they were the same size and even show me the original tires that were removed, while being patient and non condescending. The tires ride great and I now understand why the new tires might look a little larger. I've been here a few times and today was the first time I had a bad experience. I got 4 new tires put on, was $200 more than Wal-Mart quoted me, but Wal-Mart did not have the tires in stock and I didn't have the option of waiting as two of my tires were flat. When I picked up the car they told me they put the spare tire back. Well when I got home to see what was clunking around in my trunk all the way home, I discovered they put the spare back but did not bother to put it back in the plastic casing that protects it from rotting under the car. I took the spare out and enclosed it myself in less than 5 minutes, also put tools away that were rolling all over the car. For $200 labor they could have done this. Not everyone is able to climb under the car to fix this and that is why you I took the car to them. If wanted to do it myself I would have. Very disappointed today. read more

I was very Happy with the service I received. It has been so hot outside and all these guys were working so hard and so fast in this heat. I felt so bad for them, I just hope they get paid well. Drew, who I believe is one of the managers, was so professional, nice, knowledgeable, and helpful. He helped me with my warranty info and everything! They were so busy both days I had to go, and could've easily been short with customers or even rude, but they were all so nice and so helpful. Steve and the crew really helped me out of a jam. I was winterizing my garden tractor, and one of the tires had a slow leak. I thought that I could fix it myself by putting in a tube. Mounting and unmounting a tire without the right tools is hard work! I couldn't get it to work. How should I start this...last year, I bought a set of winter tires and have a set of summer tires stored in this location; and this year, I had a horrible experience with this store. ..Let me start with scheduling an appointment: When it was time for my summer tires change, I called the Store number and was waiting for an associate to pick up; meanwhile, there is a record advertisement on the phone saying "now you can schedule an appointment online." Oh, that was convenient, so I hanged up the call and scheduled an appointment online about a week ahead. When I went into the store for my appointment, I waited 40 minutes in line and finally got to speak with the associate. However, I was told that online appointment will not work for summer tires change, it doesn't automatically notify them to ship my summer tires from the warehouse to the store. I was okay with it, and order the summer tires along with a new set of wheels for the summer tires. I explained to the associate that I will use the set of wheels on my summer tires, and the associate was helping me to select the wheels. Everything was set, and I left and wait for their calls. I waited for one week but heard nothing back; so I called the store, and the associate told me that the new set of wheels is already arrived at the store. However, they have to check on my summer tires, and they will give me a call back. I waited for two days, and never got any call from them. So I called the store again, then another associate told me again that they will have to look and find my summer tires and give me a call back later. This time I did receive a call back from them, and I was told that they couldn't find my summer tires...somehow, they are MISSING in the warehouse. They will need to order a set of stock summer tires for my car...also, they told me that the set of wheels that I ordered, will not work on my summer tires because the rear wheels are wider than the front. But I already told them that I am going to use them with my summer tires... 3 Weeks later - I have no summer tires, and the set of wheels that I ordered will not work with the summer tires...and i am still driving my car with the winter tires on. read more

I don't usually leave reviews but I found the lack of customer service and integrity appalling. I came to replace my tires and ended up getting talked into spending $900. Kevin was extremely pushy to begin with and I should have known to walk out then. After the job was completed I had a sensor not reading. I was told drive it for 30 minutes it will start reading again. A week goes by and still nothing and I keep getting errors. I bring it in and ended up dealing with Kevin again. He said sensors just go out and it's usually about $200 or so but he would offer me 50% off. I explained that I didn't have issues prior to getting new tires installed and I would not be paying it. He argued that if they "somehow" forgot to put the sensor back in that, that was the only way he would take care of it. Another gentleman worked on it and had found that the sensor had been snapped upon install. Kevin visible got mad at him for telling me and when he came to talk to me he stated that the sensor was not reading still and "this one was on him but only this one time" I said "oh I was already told that it was snapped on install". He looked shocked and tried to play it off that it wasn't true, that he saved the day and somehow it was just coincidence that it quit working. Everyone else was amazing and more than willing to help. It just goes to show the impact one person can have on the representation of a company. Because of Kevin I will be canceling my road hazard warranty and will not be returning. read more

I would give this location zero stars if possible.after being a loyal customer for close to 20 years, this location had me wait an hour and a half for what is usually an easy repair. I had a screw in a tire I bought from them that was still in the green on their measuring chart. They took the tire off the rim and found a previous repair they said was done by someone else. They said they could not repair the screw because someone else had done another repair in a different area of the tire. They already took the time to take the tire off the rim, so they tried to sell me a new tire! You can't be kidding me! Handsome to just remove the screw and they refused. This location is ridiculous. The Novi location is hands-down benner at customer service. All these guys wanna do is sell new tires. Helping a customer is secondary. I will never go here again, and recommend no one else does either. To wear his hours of my life I will not get back. read more

Having to have tires replaced because of potholes always sucks. However the staff at this locations made the experience very pleasant. My car was two months old with expensive Michelins on it.
