Terrible customer service. They're rude on the phone and in person. They called 3 times in 5 minutes telling me an alignment couldn't be done unless I change x part.. When I said I didn't want to replace that part, suddenly they could now do the alignment without the fix. Just not honest business and completely lack integrity. They wanted to charge me double what they charged me for the other three and then I called the other locations and they will give it to me for 45. Absolutely hands down the best car service experiences I have ever had. I came in a month ago for a check up, and they told me I needed new shocks, struts, AND tires. That was overwhelming information for a single mom to receive, but Mitch was absolutely amazing and took great care of me! I feel as though I can trust him, and that's everything to me. I came in today to get all of the work done, and I can honestly say I don't even mind spending a portion of my day in the store - because all the guys are just awesome to hang with :-) I live 40 minutes from this location, but I will make the drive ANY TIME for this level of customer service. This place is horrible. They do not honor their guarantee to replace damaged tires when you buy the protection. They do not know manufacturer specs. Subaru AWD allowance for wear between the 4 tires is 2/36, most are 4/36... they will argue it's 4/36 until the ONLY person who does know, the manager, confirms that it's 2/36. Don't mess up and let these people touch your car. They are unresponsive when asked to honor a guarantee. If you really call them out they become very aggressive. Bad group of people performing awful work. You'll leave that store, like I did, after they told you your tires are perfect with the differential light on w/in 5 miles, like I did. AVOID! I've been taking all of our vehicles to this location since it opened and I am always really pleased with the service overall. The work is always done on time or even before expected and everything is explained very well, especially if something is noted during the inspection that might need attention or in the near future. I always feel like the work being done is actually needed and never feel like there's any dishonesty to make a sale, like some places. Joe Prior is awesome to work with and always gives great advice, the sales employees up front are always friendly and accommodating and the technicians are also great and very respectful of the vehicle they're working on. I had a tire repaired at Belle tire Lake orion. I had a nail/screw in a tire I bought from the, THey fixed it with no questions asked. THe tire jockey only filled it to 34LBS, where chevy silverado required 38. Then I noticed that my chrome factory valve cap was replaced with a black plastic. When I asked the desk clerk for my chrome one back he told me that some tire "technicians" don't those because they seize to the valve stem. My initial thought was "bull stuff" He is in the running for one of these awards. 1. Being the smartest and quick thinking front desk person to cover up for his company. 2. Being the best boss to cover up for his incompetent workers. I walked out because i'm going into the hospital for a lung biopsy tomorrow. If i got started telling him what I thought, they'd proably call the police and I dont have time for that. I'll be better off just going to the Chevy dealer and getting a new cap for my 2016 Silverado truck. At my expense. Don't get me wrong... I'll go back, but I'll park outside the garage and remove all 4 of the valve stems. And I hope someone asks me why. read more

Very disappointed in the Lake Orion store....recommended BT to a family member who walked in yesterday and bought a new set of new tires....4 Michelin LT tires for $270 each! That is not the "lowest price period" and though he was told it was, I found the same tire for much less. The store Manager Joe should be admonished for letting this happen in his store. I've gone here several times because the Skalnek Ford dealership is always booked when I need an oil change. I've always had great experiences with this belle tire. However, yesterday at 3:45pm I arrived there for an oil change and the rudeness was upsetting to say the least. I asked politely for an oil change and tire rotation, the guys' reply? "Um sure but that's going to take longer for my guys." Sorry my business is apparently an inconvenience to yours? Never again. I'll be booking oil changes in advance with Skalnek from now on. And not to mention the multiple times I've gone there, they never take the time to update my account for my new car (which I've now had for 3 years and have been there since buying said car) and then they seem to get upset that I don't know what type of engine I have (sorry, I help fix people not cars) or the fact that my address isn't updated. read more

Derik and I believe Joe (Mgr)? helped me out of a situation today and did an excellent job. Had a spinning lug nut that had to be torched off as it was stripped badly. They also helped by unseating a couple of bolts for me as I am going to self install an air strut to save some money. They quoted around forty bucks to do the job and I said yes, just get it taken care of. They did and did not charge me at all. Thanks to the mechanics that worked on my truck as well. I will be back in for new brakes and rubber real soon! Great job guy's! read more

For the most part, they have decent customer service and the wait time is less than the Rochester Road location based on the quoted wait time. Most retail stores try to upsell and they somewhat did this when I purchased my tires here. That's something that basically all places do, though. I used to have frequent problems with rim leaks due to a bent rim and some other issues. They were somehow able to fix this for free after multiple visits, but at least they weren't recommending that I replace all four of my rims (so they would match) because of a rim leak like Discount Tire did. When I mentioned being concerned about the cost for another issue, one employee even suggested that I check to see if my car was still under warranty. Turns out it was, and I saved some money by going to a dealership. But even though I went somewhere else for that issue, I still have a positive experience with them. I'm not sure how many other people would have told me that. read more

Uh-oh, another shady car establishment. Based on my previous review anytime I had a tire issue I would go to this belle tire specifically to give them my business as they treated my very well on my previous visits, not this time! As soon as I walked in I told them I had a nail or something in my tire and wanted it repaired, he said when was the last time you had an alignment and I said a year ago and he said wow, a long time then! You will need another one, do you want us to do it for you today? At this point he hadn't even looked at my car I just walked in and I just had an alignment a year ago - you should only get alignments every 2-3 years or when you put new tires on. Already I had a bad feeling. Then they said it would be an hour give or take 30 minutes additional. So I waited and as soon as they got my car in (about 30 minutes later) they said I need an alignment and all new tires and they won't repair with the nail in my tire its too dangerous because of the alignment I needed they couldn't safely do it. So all new tires and an alignment huh? NOPE! I took my car to the dealership where I normally get it serviced, Cadillac dealership charged me $20 to fix the nail and repair it - and said my tread on all tires is at a 4 and I would need new tires sooner than later but not right now and to align them then. This belle tire will never be on my radar again - you lost a loyal customer for this scheme like behavior. I do not recommend ANYONE to go here. read more

Tried to sell me a wheel bearing i did not need for selling me inherently noisey tires.

My father died unexpectedly 5 days ago. He took care of all of the car maintenance for the family vehicles. So when we had a mishap occur with my mom's vehicle on the way home from the hospital that day, my mom had a new situation to handle--a low tire pressure reading. Long story short, we called Joe at Belle Tire. Before he even heard that my dad had passed away, he told my mom they would fix the tire, no problem, no charge. Then when he heard of her unfortunate situation, he said he would work her in the next day. Mind you, they were not even regulars at the store. I was the one to bring her car in to take off some items on my mom's mounting "to do" list. When I walked in & asked for Joe, a kind young man (Joe P.) greeted me warmly. I told him the details of the incident which precipitated the low pressure reading & a bit about my father's death. He listened with genuine tears in his eyes. He said when he took over as manager 5 or 6 years ago, he determined that he would treat everyone as family. I gave him the keys, & I sat comfortably in the waiting room. A half hour later, Joe called my name, gave me my keys, and explained that the wheel was bent, & the guys had to heat it to bend the wheel back in place. I offered to pay for the service, but he declined. At a time when our hearts are breaking, it was such a comfort and joy to have someone take care of us.
