This second time was just a simple rotation service! Once can be considered an oversight, but twice is ridiculous!! poor workmanship, Neglecting the safety of their patrons!! Don't come to this location. Go to the one in white lake instead. Trust me, you will thank yourself. I came here to get my new tires put on. I was able to watch my vehicle be worked on through the window. The young gentleman got the lock lugnut stuck in his impact socket and threw the socket on the floor in anger. It appeared he was rushing and had somewhere to be. After about 20 minutes my vehicle was ready. I worked on my brakes about a week or so later and when I had one of my wheels off I heard something rolling around inside the tire. I took it back to the discount tire to have them look at it. I waited about 2 hours for them to finally get my vehicle in, and finally they tell me it just needed to be balanced again and it was fixed. I asked if they figured out what was rolling round inside the tire and was told that they didn't notice anything wrong. Okay fine with me if you say so... The following day, as I was driving, my TPMs sensor light turned on my dash, i figured it has to be that one wheel so I took my tire off and sure enough! It's still in there! I go back to the location and wait another 2 hours and they finally admit it was a TPMs sensor. Nice, they do it for free, everything is good, right? No!!! I then noticed the SAME wheel they did the wheel weights are missing! And on top of that it looks like they aggressively used a wire brush wheel on my wheel and left deep scratches. Seriously, don't come here. Go to a different location, this place doesn't deserve more business for the quality it serves. read more

I came in today with tire damage from potholes. Both passenger side tires had bulges in them and cuts in the sidewall. This is a very dangerous condition as it can lead to a blow out! They replaced the WRONG tires from the driver's side. Fortunately, my Cadillac app told me the driver side wheel sensors were faulted which is why I checked. All they told me was that it was a "miscommunication." NO it's a serious safety issue, NOT a simple miscommunication. And to make matters worse, they left my security lug key attached to a wheel lug. This would have surely fallen off and gotten lost if I hadn't noticed it! Who runs this store?! read more

I was so happy with Discount Tire's service last year that I didn't even shop them when I needed winter tires for my new performance SUV. I ordered Pirelli winter tires from them on October 24th. I was told that it would take a little over a week for the tires to arrive and that they would call me then they came in. Two weeks later I hadn't heard from them so I tried to call the location and the phone went unanswered. I tried again an hour later and again, no answer. After the third call, they answered the phone. They told me the tires were due in that afternoon or the next day for sure and that they would call me as soon as they arrived. Three days later, I tried calling them again since I hadn't heard from them, and again the phone went unanswered. At that point, I made some calls to other local tire companies, and I ordered the tires from Belle Tire. They came in and were installed the next day. I also get free tire rotations, and they have a valet service that will store my summer performance tires in a heated warehouse at a very reasonable price! Belle Tire is located much closer to my house, so They've gained a loyal customer. I was willing to pay a bit more and also drive a lot farther for Discount Tire, but they blew it! I don't know if they changed managers or what, but the service (or lack thereof) was completely unacceptable. Oh and, I still have not heard from them! Never again Discount Tire! read more

I went to this location the other day because I needed just a basic tire rotation and the staff was really helpful and nice. I called ahead of time and asked if it was required to make an appointment, and it was not, which was also really convenient because it was a Saturday and I was so busy with classes and homework that I had no time to make an appointment. They also gave me a tire rotation free of charge which I absolutely loved. The only criticism I have was that they were pushing me to try to spend extra money on a new set of tires. My tires are apparently halfway to the end of their life and the man I worked with was really considering I buy new tires because of that. The problem is, I don't have the money for new tires right now, so I rejected the offer and he was very chill about it. Great service other than that. The wait time to get my car in the bay was egregiously long which I didn't care about, but the rotation went a lot quicker than I thought. read more

Made an appointment in advance, arrived 25 minutes before appointment and still sitting here an hour after scheduled appointment and vehicle has not been pulled back. I'm not sure what kind of system they use here to keep track of who is next, but am watching those with appointments after mine and walk-ins get serviced before my vehicle. I needed four new tires for my 2019 Chevrolet Blazer and researched various reputable tire companies online. I actually purchased replacement tires online at another local tire provider and received a phone call from them saying they had to charge me an additional $117 to "have the tires shipped".... I refused to pay this up-charge and promptly requested a refund. I bought the exact same tire from Discount Tire without any additional shipping cost. I dropped off my car at 10:15 and my car was finished after 12:00 noon. The staff was easy to work with. read more

I came by here to get a very slow leak filled when my car told me it was getting low. All of my tires were at 31 psi, except the tire I was concerned about, which turned out to only be at 30 psi. The kid filling my tires looked at the chart in my car, which tells that the max psi is 35. He filled each of my tires to 38, while telling me I need to get the tire with the slow leak replaced. I told him I wasn't interested today, and he filled the tire to 49 psi, "because of the leak". In other words, to guarantee I had to get that new tire. I left and went to Costco in the next plaza over, for some honest and reliable help. I appreciate the free service that discount tire offers, and my experience today doesn't reflect every employee there, but I will not be going back and do not recommend it. read more

I took our truck in for a free air fill since we bought our tires here. The tech said one tire had a leak so I scheduled a repair. For the repair another tech brought the rim in to the waiting area and told me we need a new rim, that the tire was fine. Couldn't replace at the time. Bought a new rim elsewhere and took it to another shop to fix. Turns out the rim was fine (just needed a clean and seal) and the tire was trash. Not sure how their experts could get that so wrong. Either they don't know what they're doing, didn't want to honor the warranty, or there's some gender bias happening. Can't think of any other reasons... Great location! I originally came here to pick-up a co-worker after he dropped off his vehicle, but I decided to get a quote on a new set of tires while they were running their Memorial Day sale. I ended up taking advantage of their deal and got a new seat of Yokohama tires for $614 - with $160 in mail-in rebates - making them around $450. Our salesman was very nice and helped us get the best deal and even showed us the differences between each option and made me feel that I wasn't talking to a salesman. My only gripe is that their service is slow with only 1-2 people working behind the counter at one time, leaving long lines, even if you are there to just pick up your keys. Mark greeted me, told me that they were without power for lifts and that their computers were down - but they would do whatever they could to help. Ryan took my info on paper, and Alan jacked up the car and performed the repair. I was in and out in 30 minutes. This was the closest thing to my small town tire shop VIP treatment I've ever experienced. I highly recommend this shop and I am very grateful the team there made me feel welcome and valuable. Was quoted over the phone a price and informed that there were no other cars there, and would thus receive prompt assistance. The same one on the phone happened to be at the counter. I was then informed that I was quoted wrong and that they didn't even have the tire I needed. It was then suggested I either get the one double the quote or quadruple the quote. Magically as I'm attempting to leave, they find what I was actually quoted for. Well, it was actually $20 more each. Then they couldn't find me in the system, even though I had gotten two tires replaced this past winter. From there, my "no wait" turned into nearly an hour and a half. One other car was in the garage and nobody else in line. The actual work on my car to change two tires was only 10minutes if not less. Despite wanting my tires rotated, I was informed that they weren't going to do it. While I understood their explanation, they didn't console with me beforehand. They just didn't do it. And when I said I wanted it done anyway, they straight up said no. Follow this up with wanting to charge me $60 for "parking lot insurance". I said no. So they kindly "offered me a deal". Do not come here. These people will scam you like how I got scammed. All these people want is your money. I've mistaken this company for an honest one and my wallet had to pay the price. First and foremost even if you get warranty on your tires, from my experience more or likely there gonna say that they cannot replace the tire and you'd have to get a new one. Also, I don't seem to understand why I (the customer) has to constantly remind the employees that I have warranty on my tires before they start charging me with crazy amounts. Usually they respond, "oh I didn't see it before" some other kind of excuse. Also, new tires that has been driven less than 5000 miles have tread on there that is so low that it needs to be replaced? Based on the employees measurements of course. I always bring my own tools to measure the tread myself so I don't get scammed again. My trust in this company was taken advantage of for greed. Yes they are crazy busy at times and it can be a long wait but that tends to be when you go when everyone realizes they need new tires due to the first snow or similar. I was on my way home from a friend's house, and my tire was a little flat. I stopped at a gas station to put air in, but that didn't really work out too well, and as I was driving, the tire got even flatter, and it didn't feel safe to drive. I said to myself, "I need to find a Discount Tire and fast." Lo and behold one appeared near the Baldwin Road exit of I-75, and I pulled in. My family gets all their tires at Discount, so the car was already on record. They looked at the tires and told me the valve stems needed to be replaced, and they did it for free. However, they then discovered that one tire was not safely fixable and gave me a new tire... for $13. In replacing that tire, they discovered that the wheel studs were broken, took the time to show me the car, and told me to get them fixed ASAP. I was only there for an hour, and I spent most of that time in Arby's next door. Everyone I worked with was very friendly and helpful and helped me get back home safely. Called this store to order new tires. When I arrived to pick them up, found out they were the wrong size for my vehicle. The error was no one's fault except the vehicle manufacturer who published the wrong information in the owner's manual. The clerk immediately called other sources to see if he could get the correct size tires in the store ASAP. He quickly located a comparable tire, manufactured by a different company, and within an hour and a half, they had four new tires in the store for me. They mounted the tires as soon as they arrived and I was back on the road quickly. They took great care of me and got my vehicle in without a appointment during their busiest time of year and had it done within 2 hours. The only thing I don't like and I've experienced it twice at discount tire is when they answer the phone while waiting on you. It seems like while I'm waiting, the call they take is someone with a million questions about tires and price. I just think it's rude and management should do something about that. It's happened to me twice at two different stores so I know it's common and I saw others waiting while their rep was on the phone as well. If you are one of those people that call and ask a million questions and want pricing, STOP IT!!
