Oh yeah - great prices…read more A couple of examples: I had a wheel vibration at highway speeds that seemed like a bad CV joint or bearing. Was prepared to drop big coin for a fix. I got a call the next morning - "you had a couple of lug nuts loose. We checked the studs for damage and all the others luge and you're all set. $40." Another time I took my car in for brakes. After 120k miles I was ready for a four wheel brake job. Nope, only the fronts needed new pads and the rotors were good just resurfaced. The backs were great after adjustment. Benefits of highway driving but still, no upselling and quality work. If I buy from TireRack or some other place online for tires, they gladly accept the delivery for me. Although sometimes they can get even better deals for me. Each time I was ready and willing to pay a lot more but these guys are honest and true. Only charged what I needed and a fair price to boot. This shop has been here since before I was born and if they keep this quality going - they'll be here long after I'm gone. No other tire shop compares. No, they're not open on the weekend but I'll gladly schedule around that to avoid the shoddy work from other franchises that are.

Had a whining noise coming from my van. Took it to Dan's. He said it was a PCV valve and replaced…read moreit then cleaned out the line. Said he couldn't get it to make that sound again. Guess what? 2nd day, $110 later, same sound. Took it back, was told it was something to do with the clutch in the alternator. Offered me a "break" to replace the alternator at $400!!! I said no thanks, replaced the alternator myself. Guess what? 2 bad diagnoses! Same sound. Turns out it's the belt tensioner and idler pulley. You would think a professional mechanic could have figured this out on the first try. I've been working on cars myself for over 30 years. Don't they have a stethoscope? Heck, I used a long screwdriver and a coffee can and figured it out pretty quick. Not cool! Not happy! Not going back!
