I don't know how or why some people gave Belle Tire a bad review! This place was awesome! I had the front right tire leaking air and just stopped to see how busy they were. They not only fixed the leaking tire but checked all four of them and let me know I had a leaking strut. The quality of the work was awesome and the grand total. $0.00. On 5/7/25 went to Bell Tire and had tire rotation and a wheel alignment. I sit in the waiting room and at some point saw my car come out of the bay and drove around the building at a fast speed luckily there wasn't anyone in the parking lot or coming out of Bell Tire or coming in at that time once I get my car back and had to pick my brother up from SLI my brother noticed dirt on the back behind drivers Passenger calling side later I seen a foot print on the back drivers seat so what were the employees doing getting in the back seat had nothing to do with rotation and wheel alignment so where they horsing around not doing what they should have. Maybe Bell Tire should change there name to we give your car back dirty. Also since my tire rotation I hear a strange noise so maybe I may have to file a law suit for screwing with my car. Also all 4 tires had tire caps now missing one. They really messed with my car they should be all fired. I paid for the alignment and I get this crap not happy person. I I visited Belle Tire for ONE flat tire issue and was informed that it was necessary to purchase four new tires, which I reluctantly accepted. Subsequently, I received a call from the manager, Adam, indicating that my vehicle was ready; however, he informed me of a problem. Upon my arrival to retrieve my car, I discovered that the back two tires were significantly bent. When I inquired about this, Adam suggested that I have the vehicle towed and asserted that I had damaged the car by hitting a house. This claim was perplexing, as I had only tapped my house very gently at 6 am while going about 3 miles an hour, and got a flat tire down the road. Despite my explanation that I had dropped it off with a flat tire spare, the situation took a frustrating turn. The corporation office would not take responsibility, nor would St Claire Shores Belle Tire would not admit dropping my car off the hoist This company does not stand up for what is right. read more

Had used Belle tire for new tires and a brake job and was happy, so I had them replace a starter for me. I feel that they hosed me on the price of the starter. I know where it came from and I know what my price would have been had I bought it. They marked it up quite a bit more than I expected having been in the business myself. read more

I took my vehicle there four different times for a shake in the front end. Finally the fourth time I asked them to see if they were out of round because it was still shaking. they told me the tires in the front were in fact "out of round" so I asked them to order me two brand new tires. they informed me they were not able to get the Bridgestone tires. I wanted. They tried forcing me to buy some offbrand stuff that no one has ever heard of. I found some right next-door from their competitor at "Discount Tires" and had them the next day! When I went back to Belle tire in Michigan city to have them balance the new set after paying 3 different times for the work. told me that I had to pay again! Would highly not recommend ever going to the Michigan city Belle tire. They don't care how many times you come in for the same issue they will just keep charging you. My girlfriend and I were on a camping trip at the Dunes this weekend and after setting our trailer at the site we set out in our car for a hike and immediately got a flat tire warning. After several failed attempts at other local tire businesses we called Belle and while their appointments were full, they offered that they were taking walk-ins. When we arrived there were 6-8 people already in the waiting room and we were expecting a long wait. Staff was friendly and courteous and said they would get to it as soon as they could. Fast forward one short hour of waiting to find out it was a bolt, they plugged it and that the service was free! In a time when customer service seems lost, this was a refreshing and welcome change. I had an Appointment, was asked to come in early so they could get to my tire purchase, mounting etc. So I complied, coming in 15 minutes early, then after waiting 1/2 hour after my appointment and being told once again as soon as they could get a open bay I could be next. This place has some of the greatest customer service. I blew out my tire on I-94 during a long road trip and they graciously were able to schedule me in, same-day, to replace the tire. I still had over a 100 miles to go on my road trip and could not find anyone that was willing to replace the tire that evening. After talking with Jerry and Austin, they prepared for me to arrive and I had a new tire immediately; and was able to travel home safely with my daughter and dog. I need to report my experience at belle tire and how I felt discriminated against and feared for my safety with driving my car after leaving belle tire. 9/7 I arrived to belle tire in Michigan city Indiana I told Henry that I need my front checked out because of the grinding noises and my back end checked because my rims and rotors was really hot and grinding. After continuing speaking with Henry about paper work etc he was very rude, short, and seemed like he didn't want my business. After leaving the store my dad said if I was you I would tell them to give your keys back so you can go somewhere else because how rude they were I also remembered at the time while speaking to my dad I needed to let them know I have underglow on my car and so I ran back inside to tell Henry to be careful of my lights that they don't damage them and he made a remark saying they are illegal underglow and I said it is not illegal in indiana in which he argued with me in the store a couple minutes about how they are illegal and I also said to Henry that I was pulled over at night with lights on thinking I was getting pulled over for the underglow but the officer said I was going 7 over the speeding limit and my lights are legal in which he continues to try to argue with me about the underglow so I left it at that but after this altercation it made me really nervous to leave my car at belle tire. Later that day he informed me that I needed brakes, calipers, and rotors and the e brake was stuck and would have to be fixed or cut off I then stated is that why my front end is also grinding and he said yes because the emergency brake line is under my feet on driver side. On 7/8 he called me earlier that morning that my car is ready to be picked up and said the grinding was fixed due to the emergency brake being detached and brand new rotors brakes and calipers. I arrived at belle tire and payed for my car went outside and started to drive and realized when I braked my car was still having that issue even though on the phone he said that the parking brake was the reason there was issues to the grinding so I went back to the parking lot and went inside to tell him that the grinding noise was still there in which he said he will have someone look at it again and call me later. Lunch time he called and said that they don't know what is the cause of the grinding and said they don't really want to look further into it because it would be a hassle for belle tire and cost me a lot more money. After leaving belle tire I called Hyundai dealerships right after I left because I didn't feel safe and they said they can get me In at 1:30 that day so I dropped off my car off and later that day they said that my new rear rotors had foreign substance on them and brake slides and backing of brake pads were not properly lubricated from belle tire and the emergency brake was not the problem of the grinding. The reason I also took the car to Hyundai was because the smirk on their face and how they wanted to brush me off with how much it would inconveem them and myself to look further into the problem. My truck was just about to turn 150,000 miles so I took it in for the regular oil change and tire rotation. Other repairs were performed that had been identified from a previous visit that did not need immediate attention. A complete safety inspection was also done and all was still in good order. Any time a concern on the truck is identified, I receive a call. My wife, 4 kids and I were traveling to Michigan from Chicago Memorial Day weekend. We crossed the Michigan line and blew a tire. We were able to get the tire changed quickly but all the tire places in Michigan were closed for the night. We called the Belle Tire in Michigan City, IN and they were open for 25 more minutes. After an 18 minute drive we arrived and they were ready for us. Tire was changed within 20 minutes and they worked through the paperwork very quickly (I have a fleet car which can be difficult to deal with). Brian Page, Sharron Strickland and staff were awesome. They were very pleasant to deal with and took care of us even though they had to stay past closing time to handle it. Disaster was averted due to their customer first attitude. This shop is so thorough, so accommodating they made me want to buys tires even though I didn't need them! We're new in the SW Michigan area but went to a Belle shop in Holland for years. When I came in to take advantage of free air, the manager of the store came out, offered to fill the tires, then suggested his team check them all for leaks. They found a nail in one and fixed it at no charge. They have a customer for life, as far as I'm concerned. If you need tires, these folks will have your back! read more

I was travelling and did some damage to the rear tire/end of axle. They diagnksed problem right away, tried to find part, seemed genuinely disappointed that they could not get one for 2 days, assessed the safety of my return home tomorrow and gave me peace of mind - all in 20 minutes. Saw a young man show an act of kindness today 01/11/2021 at this location to a disabled woman. I watched this unfold as my husband was waiting to get tires on his car. This young man was outside with a Belle tire employee and another customer when a woman pulled up with a flat tire. The Belle Tire employee did not go to assist the woman even as she struggled to attempt to fill a flat tire while using a cane and had a knee brace on. The employee went right back inside. The young man approached the woman and they talked whatever was said I don't know but the young man came inside to the desk and spoke with Brian at the counter and told him that he would cover a new tire for the woman with the flat. The woman came in on her walker and called the young man over to her she was so happy and said that if it wasn't for the pandemic she would hug him that she has had a rough time was a nurse for 20 years and he told her humbly that he was just paying it forward. This young man ultimately paid for a new tire for her car. He wasn't there when it was paid for but the woman he helped was filled with joy. I am so happy that this angel of a man felt kindness through his own heart to help someone he didn't know in a time of their need. I would have loved to have known his name so that I too could thank him and "pay it forward as he so selflessly did today. Whoever you are if you ever read this just know that your act of kindness did not go unnoticed and I hope that God may bless you and your family. read more

june of this year took my car in for a 4 wheel allighnment. told them i had a wheel bearing problem left rear.1400 hundred dollars later i got a 3 wheel allighnment and my wheel bearing went out on the way back to fl. left rear where belle tire could not adjust the bolts on the control bar . called the manager and he said bad allignment would not cause bearing to fail. they seen me coming. i have since replaced control arm and had allighnment and new bearings. so far so good. that manager needs to be removed and get a job in a zoo shoveling ........ tom g. read more
