Will update when I have more concrete information. *********************************************************************************** I was stunned at the open .....I am not sure what to call it so I'll simply write what happened and you can fill in your own word there.---- In short I drove over a nail at some point and had a slow leak in my tire. I took it in, and was presented with a LONG list of very VERY expensive repairs that needed to be done to the car. Having purchased the warranty through the dealer when I bought it, I told them I would go there and have them do it under the warranty (since the car was less than 5 years old and I didn't have $1089.38 on my best day --- or month.) Guess what? The dealership was kind enough to pull up another car (identical to mine - It belonged to one of the service guys) and went over the car with me comparing what's normal and what isn't. NOTHING needed to be done to my car it was "in perfect health" Only the nail in the tire needed fixing. He did not recommend the repairs -- and further offered proof they were not needed. (So fill in whatever word you like because I am not going to call it---) This makes me really sad because I have been a Belle Tire customer well more than a decade and have never had this happen. I won't be going back to any of the locations. :-( read more

Ive been to this Belle Tire a few times for various repairs. I had them replace the front brake pads and rotors during my last visit yesterday. I was the first person in the door at 8am and car was finished at 9. I tend to wait at the repair places when I bring the car in for service, which seems to speed up the process a little. read more

Jake and Shannon are always very helpful and honest. They don't try to sell it charge you for repairs that you don't need.

I have been buying my tires from this location for years and don't understand the mediocre reviews they have received. Maybe people don't think to review a tire place. The staff is extremely friendly and despite having to order my tires, they have always gotten them the next day and my car was ready ASAP. Most importantly, they are the best price anywhere. Hundreds of dollars less than the car dealership and even cheaper than tire rack online, and that includes installation!! I love Belle Tire and buy all my tires here, you should do the same. read more

BELLE TIRE IS THE BIGGEST RIP OF WENT THERE FOR SOME WORK THEY SAID IT WOULD RUN ABOUT 1400 both tie rods speed sensors and both Wheelbearings 1400$ ok so I go a mile down the road to magic touch they look at it open every thing up the wheelbearings wer good and they showed me them all that needed replacement was both tie rods and speed sensors and axel belle tire said nothing bout the axel and it only ran me 470$ compared to belle tires 1400 read more

About a 10 days ago I noticed that I had a tire going flat and stopped at the Troy location on Maple Road. I asked the counter person how long and I was told about 3 hours and I said can I make an appointment, which he replied that we do not do it for a flat tire, I said that I had been there in August and the counterperson made an appointment for me. He said that the individual who make it was new and should not have. So I left and called their customer service in Allen Park. The gentleman there looked up my account and confirmed yes there was an appointment but it is up to each individual store. So he said that he would notify the district manager and the store manager. I did get a message from the manager of the store, Jacob Bell. I returned the call, he was out and left a message which he did not return. So on 4/1 I called and spoke with him again and he sort of remembered my call. I asked him how long the wait and he said that they had a big sale on Sunday and they were overwhelmed and couldn't handle it. I did try several other stores and there were 3-4 hour waits. So I called up another tire store and they were happy to make an appointment that was convenient for me. What I discover was that I had a side puncture and would need a new tire. I then bought a new tire. So because my flat tire was of minimal importance Belle Tire lost out on the opportunity to sell me a tire. In addition I now have a new place to go for when I need tire work. read more

What a great experience I just had with Belle Tire! Nobody ever wants to deal with a flat tire and apparently my dealership didn't want to either. Spent the morning waiting for a call back from my dealership after calling, emailing and even chatting online. Finally called Belle Tire and Steve was ready to help me, even with a busy Saturday in full swing. They got me taken care of in no time all while being super friendly and helpful. The staff is not appropriately trained & are not proffessional nor ethical. The behavior of the manager is insulting & he is incompetent. The fact that these people still have jobs is shocking. They are only interested in making money...NOT good service. read more

Can only be very positive about their service: have never been a customer at any Belle Tire before and barely made it on their premises with a hole in the tire losing air quickly. The patch repair was done for free - definitely will go back there in case I will have to buy new tires in the future. read more

Came in thinking I needed new brakes. They inspected and told me I don't :).

Should have read the other reviews before we went here. Bad experience with having a tire patched. Told it would take hours and they would call when it was ready- they did not.... Went and picked it up and put it on the truck myself. Tire was thumping as it was off balance. So, I went back to have it corrected and was told that there was nothing wrong with it. They said that their mechanics did it already and if I wanted it rebalanced, there was a $15 charge. This was the manager that I was speaking with. I know what an off balance drive feels like and I know my truck and how it drove the day before the patch. read more

I have been getting all my tires from Belle Tire (not this location!) for my vehicles over the last 12 years, from a set of $1,800 19" run-flat low profile to cheap 15" economy tires so it's safe to say I am a Belle Tire fan. But THIS store on Maple is something else: recommending tires by saying 'Trust me, I know more than you do.' (a risky thing to say in a city full of automotive engineers), challenging my integrity by pulling up my purchasing record (oddly, according to the store manager, the system record is different from the receipts in my hand?). At the end, I was also charged for some freebies I didn't know needed replacing. No, not going back to get my money; I just want to stay away from this store. But yes, I will still get my tires from Belle Tire... just not from here. read more

Went in on saturday morning due to having a flat tire coming out of work on friday, upon getting the tire inspected was told that there was no way to fix the tire and that i would need to purchase 2 new ones. I went to belle tire because i had bought this set from them, they attempted to get me to spend $300 on two new tires, which was not in my budget, so i left with the donut still on my car, fast forward to today i dropped the tire off with my normal mechanic and he was able to mysteriously fix the issue within 5 minutes, It seems like trying to pull a fast one, to make one additional sale is worth the reputation of your company. I am saddened by how a once reputable name (one of the few) in the auto repair world has been forever damaged in my eyes.sorry for your loss, but i think i'll be taking my money to more honest places read more

We've been going to this Belle Tire for over 15 years. It's a good place to take your vehicle after the manufacturer's warranty runs out and you want to keep your vehicle in safe running condition and not pay the dealer's service department prices. We've had batteries, tires, front end alignments, brakes, radiators, various pumps, motors, tune-ups, belts, oil gaskets, you name it, we had it done to keep 10+ year old cars running. I've always felt they have been honest and done good work. When my 14 year old mini-van needed a repair that would cost more than it was worth they told me so. I also like that they will check your tire pressure and refill as necessary for free any time you stop by. read more

I have been going to this Belle Tire for the past 8 years and cannot speak more highly of Jake and his team. I usually work with Jake and find that he is honest and totally focused on providing good service. I feel like he treats me or my wife the way he would want his parents to be treated. This helpful positive attitude has also been apparent in all of the guys I have worked with here. read more

Went to the Troy Belle Tire location for the first time for an Oil Change and Tire Rotation. Jacob was very friendly and honest about the wait. He said the oil change would be quick but there was a long wait for the tire rotation as they were buried. I said OK and I would come back at another time for the tire rotation which they are going to do for free. He also recommended AMS oil for 2 stroke engines and I bought a small bottle and will check it out. The oil change was quick as promised and I'll come back for the tire rotation. Not sure about the negative reviews but they treated me great. The will be my go to place for an oil change and other services in the future. read more

In town visiting my parents over Labor Day Weekend. On the drive in, noticed vibration at high speeds. Drove over to Belle Tire Troy this morning and explained situation. Although I had no appointment, within less than an hour, Jake Hurley and team had diagnosed the issue (needed a balancing), corrected it, and had me on my way. Jake even called out something with my treads that I wasn't aware of. Not in the vein of trying to sell me tires, but more as a safety watch out. When you receive service like this, it should be acknowledged. If you are in need of tire or wheel service, Belle Tire in Troy is where you want to go. Ask for Jake. read more

Had a terrible experience with this belle tire location today. I dropped off my vehicle for oil change, earlier in the morning. Was promised to have vehicle serviced by EOB today before 5. Only heard from them @3:45 saying my vehicle would not be serviced due to large work load they have. Come on I would appreciate it if I was told so when I dropped off in the morning. I have lived a mile and a half away since 1994. This location has always been my go-to store. I was in and my requests written up extremely quickly. Got a tire rotation and they fixed a slow leak. The service was completed in well under the original estimated time, and Jacob and the test of the staff were polite and represented Belle Tire well. read more

I took my car here for tires and after they were installed I was handed an estimate for $630 for work that needed to be done. I didn't have the money being unemployed so I waited. When I received my tax refund I decided I should have the work done. I thought the price was high so I contacted another place to get an estimate and their price was a lot cheaper. I took my car to John R Spring where I received the better estimate. After dropping off my car, that I thought would be at least a 3 hour job, I received a call within 15 minutes stating my car was fine I didn't need any repairs. I was so upset I contacted their corporate office. I received a call from someone there and was asked if I could take my car to another location to be checked out. I took my car to the other location and was shown that nothing was wrong. That was a month ago and I never heard another word from anyone. No apologizes, no anything. Just a foot note I did write a review on their location site and can you believe it was never posted! read more

I have been to this location several times with my BMWs for alignments and I have always drove away extremely happy. That changed when one of their talented employees left a few years ago. I was most recently there with my E46 that needed an alignment after the rear trailing arm bushings were changed (which help control toe in the rear). I picked up the car and drove it the next 4 months on new tires until - a REAR BLOW OUT on I94. I got out of the car and saw that both of the inner areas of rear tires were completely worn and the passenger side rear was flat. The outer areas were like new. I put a different set of rubber on and watched the inside tread quickly disappear the next three months. I should have taken the car back sooner, but it was after seven months that I returned to the Troy Belle Tire to recheck my alignment and the rear toe on both tires was were showing in the red. I was one month past the six month warranty so I would have to pay again. No thank you! Especially not after ruining the first set of tires. read more

Recently gave this place yet another chance with a brand new set of tires and wheels. I've had great experiences with this place a few years ago however, a few months ago had an alignment done with poor customer service. The workers don't care about the quality of work they do, or at least they don't show it. Very unfriendly, rude, and treat you like you're just a number. The new tires and wheels I just received had grease on them when finished and a chip on one of the new wheels. When shown this, they acted like it was no big deal and only when pressured they remedied the situation. This place and the workers have gone so down hill. I'm done with this place... I've been fooled one to many times... make sure you don't! read more

I purchased new tires from this location but the two times I've been back for repairs they have never been able to provide service; they claim they're too busy. They also lack considerably in the customer service department! Do yourself a favor a visit another location. The location in Madison Heights is always accommodating. read more

Made an appointment for 10 am. Arrived on time. At 10.35 my car was still sitting in the parking lot while three of the staff stood chatting to each other behind the counter. In all it took 1 hour and 50 minutes to change the tires on the car to the new ones. After about an hour and forty minutes, someone called Aaron came out and told me that my new 2019 Subaru Forester (with less than 2,500 miles on it) was out of alignment on two wheels and an alignment would cost an additional $109. I refused since I had recently had an alignment on my Mercedes-Benz for $89 and was surprised that with an $850 purchase of new tires that Belle Tire would have at least made sure that the wheels and tires were properly aligned, if only to protect their tread wear warranty. (I mentioned none of that to Aaron, simple saying "No thank you, that's too much.") What made it almost laughable was a Belle Tire promotional placard sitting on the table in front of me offering unlimited alignment for a year for $25. In spite of the fact that I kept the (almost new) tires taken off the Subaru, I was charged for tire disposal. When I asked Aaron why it had taken 1 hour and 50 minutes to change the tires in spite of having an appointment he asked me, apropos of absolutely nothing, a) Did he check me in? (No, it was someone else) and b) Why was I giving him "attitude"? (The "attitude" appeared to be all his). As a final insult, when I asked for the $80 Goodyear rebate form, Aaron said "I didn't know there was one." Overall, a less than pleasant tire buying experience. To make the story short, they replaced a perfectly good tire and left a tire with no tread and clearly visible steel belts on the car...... Then were unapologetic about wasting my time..... I took my girlfriends car in to have a remarkably bad tire replaced... It needed to be done as there was no tread and the metal cloth was worn through for a few layers. We chose this bell tire for the proximity to where the car was as we didn't feel safe driving on this tire. I took my lunch during a very busy day at work to come pick up the car... They had replaced entirely the wrong tire... The paperwork clearly said that the left rear tire needed replacing, and they replaced the front right. I felt the service writer who addressed the issue for us was pretty unapologetic. He said "well, the guy didn't have this (pointing at the paperwork) and replaced the one that looked like it needed replacing." The front right was just fine, it was the back left that had steel cloth bare to the road. I don't know how someone could miss that and replace the other tire. It was implied that the next time we came if we asked for that service writer(/manager?) they would somehow take care of us. Having a hard time thinking about bringing a car back there. Overall not impressed with replacing a good tire and leaving a clearly dangerous tire on the car. read more
