Got quote for Goodyear tires which had 60 rebate. They said they would honor this, had my wife pick up and not only did they not honor the rebate they started doing ad on's without authorization. $40 dollars for windshield wipers, tried to get us to do struts which should cost between $200 and $300 that weren't needed at all and they wanted $600. This is the last time I will ever deal with them. Stay as far away from these people as you can! read more

My brakes were making noise and sounded like the pads were worn out. Michael helped me out and quickly took my car in and also arranged to have me dropped off at work. A few hours later he called me back with great news that everything was mechanically sound. He cleaned up the rotors and the noise is gone. He had the mechanic oil a part in the brakes at no charge and my car is all set. I love the customer service and greatly appreciate the honesty. This occurrence was some months ago. I went in to have my windshield replaced. I told them that my dealership specifically told me it had to be a GM windshield. This was a leased car. They had agreed to the windshield being specifically GM. After about two and a half hours. I noticed the windshield was Pilkington glass. When I informed the manager. he argued with me and said the dealership would not say anything. He was a middle eastern man. I forget the name. He was basically sticking me with a cheaper windshield. Although he was charging me for a GM windshield. I have had bad experiences at this location before. Most of the other Belle Tire locations I have visited,provide stellar service. Worst experience! Got new tires + wheel alignment from Belle Tire. BAD DECISION!!! I guess they instituted a good enough policy with the alignment. They never bothered to print out a confirmation sheet to show me that my car's Belle Tire alignment was within specs. It was not! I took it to a Good Year Tire one week later and they showed me that the alignment was way outside acceptable. If you are ever in need of tires or any work done on your car, drive a little further down the road...you will be much happier. read more

Took a flat tire into the shop *without* an appt on a busy Saturday morning; drove in on a temporary spare tire. Since i didn't make an appointment, i had to wait almost 2 hours, but they solved my problem and did it with courtesy, including doing it for FREE, consistent with the experience that at least a few other yelp reviewers have mentioned about Belle Tire (various locations). 1) They confirmed It was a seal leak between the wheel rim and tire side wall, likely caused by corrosion + salty michigan road stuff that got in there. 2) They ground down the affected areas of the alloy wheel to clean it, and reseated the tire back on the wheel 3) They mounted the wheel+tire back on the car, and put my spare back in its original storage compartment in the back of the car. I would say this is a bit of extra TLC, as they could have just thrown the spare back in the trunk and make me put all the pieces back together. I haven't had more than a few hours to assess the performance of the repair, but my initial impression is positive. As is often the case with service providers like this shop, if you treat them with respect, then they will serve you with good intent. Folks who work there can be a little gruff or coarse, but it's nothing personal as they are quite a busy establishment. I would recommend trying to come in as educated as you can, as this simply helps them provide the level of customer service that is getting rarer these days. And try to make an appointment in advance if you can. For those of you who have busy lifestyles, i don't think you often have time to wait 2 hours, especially at a shop that just gets busier as more customers choose to go there for their customer service. read more

I have a new Jeep and on my way home from a doctors appointment, the low tire pressure light came on. My dealership was way on the other side of town so I decided to swing into Bell tire, which is the company I used for all my previous vehicles. I went in and asked if someone could please come out and check my tire pressure. They came out and noticed there was a nail in my tire and stated that they could fix it right away. I asked how much this would cost and they said they would plug my tire and rotate them today free of charge since I was an existing customer. I just wanted to express how grateful I was to have my tire fixed in a timely manner and at no charge! Beware of this place - especially the manager - Howard. Senior Citizens beware! My mother (she's in her 70's) took her car there for a brake repair - simple job - 90's Honda. They over charged her - and made over five or six different attempts to correct it. I mistakenly used the car after the second or third repair attempt and the brakes gave out completely and I hit someone. After the fifth or sixth correction - the brakes gave out again - and my mother was almost in an accident. At this point, I got involved and attempted to talk to the mananger - Howard - he was arrogrant, rude and concluded by hanging up on me twice - then he called my mother and told her I cussed him out. I then called the district office and spoke to the District manager - Chuck - he was even ruder and wanted me to provide estimates from other shops, sign disclaimers, etc. Needless to say I was stunned by the poor quality of work - actually unsafe, dangerous workmanship and the rudeness of the staff and district office. I later found out that they have been dealing with my mother for over two weeks - talking about refunding her money without doing it, asking to keep her car for days, asking her to take the car to other businesses for evaluative work and estimates. They are an absolute horror- Seniors beware - if you want to over pay and spend weeks having to deal with their faulty work - step up. The sad thing is when I went to work and mentioned that my mother had break work done - before I could finish the sentence a co-worker interrupted and said, "I hope you didn't go to Belle Tire - they are a nightmare - I had to have my brake job redone three times by them because they use substandard parts." If you're looking for a hassle, an accident and some rude service - step up - they are a modern nightmare! read more

Not very happy with my experience here, they may do fine work but certainly are not trustworthy. They tried to sell us car parts worth much more than our older vehicle is worth and were very reluctant to accept no as an answer. When someone is working on my car, being able to trust them is my number one priority. There are much better alternatives out there. read more

Great customer service. Went in for a routine oil change and tire rotation on a Saturday morning when it was very busy. But that's the case at Belle Tire's West Bloomfield store where I needed a tire puncture (there was a big nail embedded in the tire) repaired. Incompetent. I got a classic pothole flat. Took the tire off. Brought it in for them to look at (maybe the tire was not cut). They didnt even need to use a bay or lift my car. They told me 45 min. OK. Left the tire. Came back in an hour. Waited another hour. Asked for new time estimate. OOOPS. Lost my order, though it was logged in their computer. Bunch guys just shrugging, shuffling off. No apologoes. Waited another 20. Took them 5 min to tell me it was cut. BUT gues what? Too late now to order your tire for tomorrow. Could have... but it will be in Monday. THis is Thursday. Killed my afternoon. Disrupted my weekend (car on jackstand). Thanks guys. Dont expedite. Dont be a little sorry. Dummies just phoning it in. These guys are going down. I have been going there for years, but check their latest reviews here and on search engines. Wish I had. One stars. Go to Discount Tire on Haggerty or 12 Mile. At worst, go to Haggerty Belle location. These guys will kill your time, and rip you off for your patience. Hope they close soon. Maybe some place better will open there. read more

On July 2014, I went to the above store and purchased new tires for my car. At the time of purchase, I was told these tires comes with 40K miles warranty. I dealt with this store many times before for other repairs, and this is why I went here rather than the competitor. Few weeks ago, I noticed these tires were unreasonably worn-out . These tires had not reached their 40K life and this is what happened. I went to the above store on July 5, 2016 to see what can be done. The customer rep was not friendly at all, he keeps me waiting on the counter while he is talking on the phone while I am there (first was me first not the phone). When I tell him about the situation, he tells me to send the warranty to the tire's manufacture, he need a record of tire rotation. I do not have any, because I took it else where. I say OK, lets replace the tires then I will contact the manufacture myself. I asked him are there any coupons I can use , he tells me rudely use your phone and get the code. OK no problem, after I get the code I go to him to give the code and telling him I do not have much charge on my phone, can I give you code now. He keeps me waiting for no reason for at least 8-10 minutes. It seems to me he was doing it on purpose. At this point, I asked to see the manager, he comes in, a very rude individual who thinks he is right all the times . Anyway I explained the warranty situations and he makes many unpleasant comments that got nothing to do with this situation. After I told him what happens he tells me right out flat there is no warranty on these tires. Somebody is lying here, I do not want do a business with a company that have employees who lied to customer. Anyway I did pay for these tires and left. I am very disappointed with this store. This is not the way to treat the customer. There is no place written on warranty that there should be a written record of tire rotation.It looks like their staff are making rules as they go along so thier customer are not treated equally and fairly. read more
