Amazing service! In and out in less than 15 minutes! I called on a Saturday just before 4pm and asked when I could schedule to come in and replace 2 of my tires. Now that is quite a short time considered when I bought 4 new tires from them last year, it was a long wait, almost 3 hours. Dishonest pricing & bad service. As a woman, they spoke down to me & claimed i don't understand the real things that my car needs fixed even though i was very specific with the service that i wanted. They ended up doing more on my car than i asked for & charged me exponential prices. when i picked up my car it seemed more broken than it was before, which i believe to be sabotage for more money. I have nothing but good things to say about Belle Tire. Every time I've taken my car there it's been great. Have taken my car there a few times in the last year or so for a nail in the tire and they've patched it at no charge. Also, I've taken it there for other concerns and instead of charging me for something unnecessary, they've talked me through things and helped me understand that there's no issues with the car. This place is fully incompetent of swapping tires, I cannot imagine having them try anything else on a vehicle. They had my car sitting on the lift untouched for 1.5 hours then I asked what the ETA was and they say 30 minutes. Another hour goes by and still, no one has even put the new tires on. Ridiculous waste of time and over 3 hours wait for a 40 minute job at most. Front desk dude was mad we interrupted his play time on his phone. I haven't used this Belle tire for any services or anything like that. But I'm still giving it four stars because of the free air tanks! Yup you got that right --free air tanks! This time every year my "low tire" light comes on and it is the most annoying thing in the world. there isn't a leak or anything. The cold just contracts the air in the tires or something and I have to go fill them up. But "free" isn't even the best part! Now, while I do have the little doodad that allows me to check my tire pressure I hate using it. It's hard to get a good grip and I have to stop and start and stop and start until it's where it needs to be. So, I was prepared to spend some frustrating time with the air pump. But! When I pulled up to the shop, I discovered that Belle Tire not only has FREE air but they also have a machine that checks your air pressure for you as it pumps and automatically notifies you when your tire hits the mark it needs. Hot damn! This saved me from a lot of cursing trying to and a lot of searching for change in cup holders (I never carry change with me. And you always have to pay in change at the gas station air pump) so for that I give Belle Tire major props. This thoughtful, and complimentary, feature makes me more inclined to go to them if I need work done in the future! read more

I just moved to the area and needed new tires for my truck. I picked this location and couldn't be happier. My truck rides smooth and straight as an arrow. The whole staff went above and beyond for me changing out all my TPS and valve stems because the old ones were corroded on. I just tried calling to make an appointment for them to look at my husband's car after they recently swapped in his snow tires and one tire is consistently losing pressure on a daily basis, and the person I reached was immediately rude and dismissive. First he said there's nothing we can do for you today, and I said I wasn't actually asking about today, but just wanted to set an appointment for them to take a look. He asked the year of the car, I said I think 2015 or 2016 (my husband's car) but I gave the make and model, and he said with great irritation that there were three cars under the phone number history. When I repeated the make and model and said it was the one that just got snow tires put on last Thursday, he acted greatly put out, then put me on hold, then the call was disconnected. I have no idea what set him off - I certainly wasn't initially angry about anything but I did get progressively moreso throughout this conversation. Most people at Belle Tire are perfectly fine to deal with, but this is not the first time I've had an experience like this at this location. It is surprising and disappoining that this kind of customer service ever passes muster there. read more

The underside of my car started rattling yesterday and I made an appointment with Belle Tire to get it checked out as soon as possible. I was fortunate that they were able to look at it today (there were no promises they would but they did) and that they quickly diagnosed what was wrong and promptly got my car back to running just as it should be running within two and a half hours. They've helped out my family plenty and we've never had any problems. Easily a five star experience. read more

Took a flat tire here and was greeted immediately upon entering the store by the manager, Cristino Gonzales, who was busy with another customer. They promptly repaired it, contact me and I picked it up the same afternoon and wasn't charged anything despite the tire not being purchased from Belle (newer vehicle, still plenty of life on OEM tires). I haven't needed to buy new tires for many years, but have bought previously from this store and will buy from them if I need tires in the future. Had a bad right rear wheel bearing on my kid's 2010 Toyota Prius and didn't have time to replace it myself. Dealer wanted $125 just to diagnose it (even though I was certain it was the wheel bearing) and the $125 would not go towards the repair which the dealer estimated to be $750+. I told the dealer thanks, but no thanks. Left the dealer at 4 PM with the car, called the guys at the Carpenter Road Belle Tire, and dropped the car off to them that evening. By 8:15 AM the next morning they called me with the $460 estimate, I told them to proceed, and by around 10:00 AM they called me to say it was ready for pick up. They used a good quality MOOG hub/bearing too. Been dealing with this location for years, with only just a couple of not-so-good experiences in the distant past, but they did a good job on this one! I'm giving credit when credit is due. read more

I had tires put on by Belle tire... This review is covering Belle tire as a whole not one specific place but the three, different establishments I've had my car at and no one wants to take responsibility for the damage that was done to my vehicle... I just had my tires rotated at Belle tire in Belleville, a couple months later I'm on the freeway, and out of nowhere my car start shaking like I'm in an earthquake or driving a tank! I find the nearest exit I can pull off of stopped my vehicle and look for the closest Belle tire to take my vehicle to! Upon getting to Belle tire I got out to inspect my vehicle only to find that the, wheel balancing weights were not installed properly on my car! The road grime and dirt that was on the inside of the rim was not cleaned off of my rim prior to putting the wheel weights on which caused them to fly off my car at 70 miles an hour! When I brought my car in to Belle tire all four of my tires were out of balance! Not to mention that I'm a disabled veteran who is unemployed. I was wearing an arm sling while driving my vehicle, due to their incompetence, this incident has caused over $2000 worth of damage to my vehicle! A simple Google search of what the importance of having your tires properly balanced, you'll be able to see that without a properly balanced tire it can damage anything that is a bearing or a bushing connected to the suspension and drivetrain! It shook my car so heavily that it dislodged an auto leveler off the rear of my vehicle when I pulled into Belle tire it was dangling almost touching the ground! All four of my brakes and rotors were damaged which I had to replace, after replacing them I still had vibration and shaking! Now mind you bell tire supposedly balanced my tires properly at this point but the damage was already done! So after replacing all of my brakes and rotors out of pocket because they didn't wanna take any responsibility for the situation whatsoever... Only to find out that my control arms were damaged so I replaced those out of my own pocket... Only to further find out that both of my CV joints were damaged, The mechanic I took my car to did an inspection of my vehicle four months prior to this incident happening! None of these things were an issue, he went on to further say that my CV joints were stretched at the inner bearing... After replacing all of these parts my car still doesn't run right. And the mechanic who replaced all of these has been working on GM and Cadillac vehicles for 35 years. And he can't even figure out what's going on with my car... Bell tire denied any responsibility to it even though the facts are clear! There is no reason that I should've brought my vehicle back in after having a mount and balance done at the Belleville Belle tire, and all four of my tires were out of balance!. Plain and simple the audacity of these companies to take advantage, of the people they call customers... And take no responsibility for the blunders of their employees! I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau as Well in regards to this incident. It's a shame that these companies and corporations think that they can just walk all over their consumers... Let me reiterate I had an inspection done of my vehicle prior to this incident happening and none of these things were a problem or even a potential one according to an ASE certified mechanic who's worked on GM vehicles for 35 years..! The Audacity of this corporation is appalling as a consumer, as a veteran, as a citizen of the state of Michigan. Just add a little personal touch to drive this home, I have children that live in Georgia I was planning a trip to go see them and I haven't seen them in a year and a half. Due to this incident I can't because I can't drive my car on the freeway now! Welp, won't be going back to this rip-off factory again. I had gone to Belle for a few years, mostly out of convenience (between home and work, open 6 days, open early, open late). It may have also partly been because they sponsor the Detroit Red Wings power play, which kind of hammered it into my brain. Even so, I knew they didn't have the greatest prices and I found most of the staff to be pushy with their upsales. Before a recent visit, I think I would've rated this place 3 stars. I recently took my car to Belle to get the brakes checked out. Belle quoted me at $980 to replace some brake pads, rotors, and calipers. I've literally never had to pay anywhere near that amount for that type of work, so I took my car elsewhere. At the very next shop I went to, I paid $460. And yes, I got the same exact parts at this other shop - well, I got the same exact parts for what they thought actually needed replaced, since Belle was going to replace things this other shop said looked quite fine. But OK, maybe maybe maybe the mechanics at these two shops have differing opinions on what needs replaced and what is in fine working condition. But here's the kicker and what infuriates me the most: the mechanic went over my Belle estimate line bye line and showed me where Belle was trying to double-charge me for multiple items. Oh hell no. I used to go to Belle for tires, repairs, and oil changes. I already stopped going there for oil changes since they over-charge, and now I won't be going there for any reason except to get my tires rotated (since I bought them there). And even for that, I may not... it takes them so long to do anything... and seems to be even slower when what you're asking them to do isn't high profit for them. read more

The tire on our car popped as a result of running over a piece of metal. I called Belle Tire on Carpenter road to explain the situation. The person who answered the phone said they could not come to us to help but would absolutely fix the tire today if we could get to them. We managed to get the tire off and to the store roughly 30 minutes later. As soon as we walked in the store, that same person said no way could they fix the tire today. I called the same number I'd called earlier to verify we were at the correct location. We were. That same man answered my call and claimed he had 6 cars in the queue and only 2 techs on staff. Chose Belle Tire to purchase an entire set of new tires. I checked online to make sure they had the ones I needed in stock. They had the option of scheduling an appointment online, which I did. I took the first appointment available once they open the shop. My car was not seen at my appointment time; walk-ins that had come before me were seen first. I was told my job would take 1.5 to 1.75 hours to complete. Long story short, it took them 4 hours to complete the job. I was never contacted about change in time or expected ETR (Estimated Time of Repair). I had to check in several times, and it appeared the all-male staff didn't care how long I had been waiting, and was told 3 times, "Oh, about 20 to 25 minutes more." I used assertive communication to let them know I was very disappointed and frustrated, as no one had told me why the job was taking so long, why walk-ins were seen before me, and that no one had bothered to go through with me what the job involved. It seems only rational that an alignment be done when a new set of tires is put on a car, and therefore be part of the "out-the-door" price. No, it wasn't. Odd. So I told them the customer service and wait time was very poor and I deserved a discount. The associate said I was already receiving a discount of $50 for their Anniversary Sale when buying an entire set of tires. He couldn't give me two discounts on one invoice. I countered that anyone buying a new set of tires would have received that discount if their wait had been an hour. So he opted not to charge me the $49.99 for the alignment. I wasn't pleased, as, like I stated above, the alignment should be included when installing four new tires for the purpose of ensuring proper tire and driving performance. I left feeling taken advantage of due being a female customer against an all-male staff. I'd like to think auto repair chains, such as Belle Tire, has taken measures to ensure their employees aren't stereotyping women, thinking they don't know anything about cars. I do most work on my car that is rational in my own garage with parts and tools I can buy/loan from an auto store. But when it comes to needing something done that requires shop machinery, I have no choice but to take it in. And I hate to because I've been taken advantage of before simply for being female. Beyond all that, I wouldn't return and would not recommend this Belle Tire location. Poor customer service, appointments don't mean anything (so don't bother), and sketchy "discounts" to appease and back-pedal. I would've given only one star, but I added one more due to the sketchy discount on the alignment. read more

Bought tires in April now August had a nail in the tire side wall and they could not repair it the service rep said I needed to buy all 4 new tires because of all wheel drive. Tire buster used my socket did not return to my glove box ( I would be stuck if I had a flat ). This has happened twice before. Still waiting because when I started to leave there was a running noise and it turned out the tire buster put the weights on wrong =(. Too much time, disappointing experience. read more

Needed a full set of tires, which I got for decent value. Getting them installed didn't take that long. I had an issue as soon as i left the lot and i called them about it, and they said that they could get it in 2 days after in the morning. Okay. Sure. I kept my patience until I went to go get it worked on, and they told me be there 8am and we should be able to get it done in 2 hours. Okay. I didn't realize until recently that Belle Tire started in Detroit and is a small local chain that only covers southeast Michigan and a bit of northern Ohio. This location on Carpenter has generally done right by us. My husband did have the surreal experience of having them put the wrong size tire on our 1996 Prizm not once but twice. The first time, he got home, realized they were the wrong tires, brought the car back in, and asked for the correct tires. They put on a new pair. My husband pointed out that these were still not the right tires, and they put on a third pair. You'd think after that I would be giving them two stars at most, but they actually give pretty good service most of the time. They had a sense of humor about the mix-up and corrected it quickly. I've also brought my car in for a tire rotation and had a really good experience there. Earlier this year, I brought our 2006 Vibe into a quick oil change place that advertised that they also did rotations. They took about 45 minutes to do it and charged me close to $40. Then, when the Prizm needed a tire rotation about 6 weeks later, I decided to try Belle Tire intsead. I didn't make an appointment in advance and brought the car in around 2 p.m. on a weekday. They had me in and out of there in just under 20 minutes and charged me $10. That's pretty hard to beat. That sort of service is what will keep me going back to Belle Tire. The other positive about Belle Tire is the hours. Belle Tire is open for 8 hours on Saturdays and is open several weeknights until 8 p.m. That's really convenient for a person who works first shift. read more
