I went here to get an oil change and a check up. The wait took a while but there is a TV and wifi at this location so thank God for that . The staff keot me up to speed on the status of my vehicle. I called this store and Kyle was totally ready to help and asked me what he could be of service. I took my car in, they met me right away, got it back, diagnosed the problem and fixed it! And when they came to give me the key, he said all done have a great day....NO CHARGE! If I could've I would've bought them all lunch! This company allows extremely unprofessional management practices that create a hostile and unsafe work environment. Manager Raiden has engaged in inappropriate relationships with employees and even discussed it openly in the workplace, which raises serious ethical and legal concerns. I reported this behavior to HR and requested an investigation, but instead of properly addressing the issue, HR made the situation worse and failed to ask me for details that would have helped them investigate. This left me feeling unheard, unsafe, and unsupported. I do not recommend working here, and I will be contacting OSHA and the proper authorities regarding these issues. read more

I normally get my tires at Costco, but I tried this place because I had a trip coming up and I wanted to get the work done prior to the trip, so I didn't have time to schedule Costco in advance. The Belle Tire website was a good experience for identifying the right size tire and choosing amongst the options. I also liked that I was able to schedule an appointment after choosing the tire, and I didn't have to take the tire specs to the store; it was all on their system when I showed up. I also liked being able to enter my email address and get a 10% off discount code. The part that I didn't like was after the service was complete. First, they didn't apply the discount code until after I reminded them a second time. Then, the price was higher than the online quote, even after they applied the discount code. The salesman said, "Oh, you don't want the Tire Protection Plan?" He had included it, for an extra $100+, even though I had already declined it online, which was clear from my online quote. (Really glad that I brought a screenshot along with me to the store.) Maybe it was a simple mistake, but it seems much more likely that he had added the protection plan to my invoice (to pad the commission? or to make a quota?) and hoped that I wouldn't object. That felt really shady, and ruined what had been a very good experience. read more

I'm a big fan of Belle Tire. They offer a wide selection of tires, honestly presented, and I think their prices are as low as any. What's most impressive is their care later on. I've had a slow seal leak and a flat from a screw puncture in tires I got from them. In both cases they addressed the problem right away and without charge. The only downside to Belle Tire is that they are busy, and so it is sometimes difficult to get an appointment. But as long as I was willing to wait, they always managed to get me in. Got a quote for $300 for rear brake pads and rotors. Rotors were 3 months past their year warranty and wouldn't honor it. When asked how these rotors barely lasted a year, Chris responded with "well they could have been bad rotors in the first place, I don't know..." I randomly got a flat right before they were closing, but they still talked to me and let me come in. They told me if it needed to be fixed, they'd do it for free, but if it required replacement, they'd have to keep it overnight. I opted to have the tire replaced and they kept it overnight and had it done first thing in the morning, and called me when it was done. They offered some other services, but I declined and they weren't pushy at all. When I got my car back, I paid the exact amount we agreed on the night before and picked up my car. In addition to the brand new tire, they cleaned my car up (wheels and all) and neatly repacked my spare tire into the trunk. While I've heard they tend to be on the more expensive side, their willingness to help and quick turn around time makes it pretty worth it, in my opinion. read more

I was traveling to Ann Arbor on business when I hit a pothole on 23N. I knew I couldn't drive the 175 miles home on the donut spare so I called Belle. They had no appointments but told me to be there at opening time the next morning. They worked me in and in a couple of hours I was out the door with a new tire and I was able to drive home with peace-of-mind. They have gained our trust over the last few years and that is hard to earn from an auto repair shop. Had shocks and something else fixed on a truck there this week. Post your review I bought four new tires here in October, spending nearly $1200. Within days all four started losing air, the two driver side tires much faster than the passenger. At first I thought it was just the cooler temperatures, but soon found myself having to put air in them once a week. Once I was able, I returned to Belle Tire, the month after buying the new tires, and explained what was happening. They were not able to take care of me same day, which is understandable. But the soonest appointment was not for more than one month. They could not do anything for me for more than one month. The reason I was given is because there are a lot of people ahead of me--apparently once they've collected your money you are no longer an important customer. His solution was just to keep filling them up with air until they could look at the tires and see what was going on, at the end of the next month. I'm worse off than before I got the new tires. I've always gone to Firestone and have always been taken care of. I only went here because they could get me the premium tires I was looking for faster. I won't make that mistake again and I will not be back. read more

I took my car to Belle Tire a couple of weeks ago for a broken brake light and it turns out that I had to have a lot more work done than I thought which costs hundreds of dollars. My car started making weird noises a couple of days ago and I took it to Midas where they told me that my front brakes were completely warn out. Belle Tire neglected to check the whole car AND they ripped me off. Even the people at Midas said they ripped me off. read more

After reading many reviews (Yelp sort first...note to self, search most recent) and seeing an available time to schedule, which worked with by 730am to 5pm work day, I made an appointment online. However, I was also notified by another shop that they could fit me in at a time that worked better. Not more than 10 minutes after booking with Belle, I called to cancel my appointment...the man on the phone was rude when I explained that there was another, faster option, he hung up on me. No wonder the latest reviews on here are 1 star. Seriously, don't hang up on people...your shop could've been the next I would go to if the time worked out better. read more

Getting your car fixed is the worst experience ever. It's rarely cheap, and since you aren't a mechanic yourself, you rarely even know what's wrong in the first place. And that's where they get you. My experience with Belle Tire is as follows: Report problem A; get estimate. Two days later, take car in to get fixed. Two days after that, come back to request refund because they over charged me. Also mention that you seem to be experiences the same issue, but say you'll give it a week. They say that all their work is guaranteed, so not to worry. Great! One week later, come back reporting the same issue. Get told that this problem has to be dealt with by the dealership. Okay. And the repairs you already did? "Oh, you has multiple problems." The worst part about getting your car fixed is that you have no way of knowing if that's accurate. I told you to fix problem A, but you fix "problem" B. I still need repairs even though you've guaranteed your work. It's difficult to trust strangers not to rip you off; especially when they overcharge you in the first place. I'm now out $400 with more repairs necessary, and all I'm being told is that they gave me a deal on the initial repairs. I wouldn't recommend Belle Tire to a friend unless it was something simple and obvious. I won't be returning to Belle Tire for future repairs. I do, however, recommend that you develop a relationship with a mechanic, and get your work done by someone you can trust. read more

I took my car in for new tires and alignment. The sales man was very helpful picking out the tires and I feel like I got a good deal on the a great pair of tires that fit what I need for driving. That being said I would highly recommend that you get a second opinion on any mechanic work they suggest. I know nothing about cars and was totally swindled by the mechanic there who told me my "ball joints" were cracked and needed to be repaired before they could do an alignment. I chose not to have them fixed there and took the car to my regular mechanic who found nothing wrong AND informed me that he has had three people in the last six months who have come from this Belle tire reporting the same problem when their was nothing wrong with the parts. Looks like I'm not the first young woman who has been taken for a ride by these folks. Glad I got a second opinion and I recommend you do the same. read more

I first came to this Belle Tire the winter before last when one of my tires randomly deflated and that was just the first place I happened to turn in to. Nothing else was wrong, and they just filled up all my tires for me free of charge. I attributed it to a "damsel in distress" thing and they were just pitying the poor Florida girl in Michigan. I have gone back for an oil change for my boyfriend's car, and all was pleasant yet again, and then I went back to them yesterday since I needed an oil change and my tires refilled (after the caps were frozen on). They caught my rusted brake pads so fixed those, tested my battery since I had mentioned I needed to jump it, and changed my oil and inflated my tires. My battery did need to be replaced, and they don't have the best prices ($170 vs. last year I replaced my boyfriend's for $120 from AAA), but I figured I'd just get it done there since the service was so wonderful. THEN, this morning, my car didn't start. Even after the brand new battery. Having no clue what it was for, they paid for it to be towed to their place, and turns out, after testing my alternator, gear shifter and a couple other things, the mechanic dug up a technical service bulletin from Hyundai that for 2009 and 2010 Sonatas, the starters can just die in extreme cold (and this being Michigan and what with all the polar vortexes (vortices) we've been having, it's cold). Starters are expensive, and since my car is just under 5 years old, I checked the warranty - and the starter is covered, but only by the Hyundai place. They were completely fine with me having it all done for free at the Hyundai place, and let me walk out without paying a dime. Even after they footed the bill for my car to be towed, then spent the hour and a half labor investigating the problem. When it was a problem that was 100% not their fault. For as long as I live in Michigan, I'll be coming here unless I have to go to the dealership. I've interacted with more than a handful of their mechanics and staff and have had nothing but the best experiences, and I find it hard to believe the 1-star reviews from others. read more

I have always been happy with Belle Tire. Lately, they are too busy, don't have enough workers, or don't have enough shops. One of the main reasons I went to Belle Tire was because they offer free rotations. Well, that is now worthless because they can't do it. They won't allow appointments and won't prioritize rotations. They tell you they can't get it in for hours, can't guarantee by end of day, or might be overnight. They say just drop it off an we will get to it when we can. This is for a tire rotation! Do not go here by yourself if you are a young woman, unless you enjoy being swindled in patronizing tones. I know that's a notorious stereotype with mechanics, but this was exceptionally obvious here. I went to inquire about 3 new tires (I had popped a tire not long before & had received a new one at a different Belle Tire). I had called for an estimate the day before & was quoted $275 out the door. So when I walked in, ready to have them changed, the salesguy goes "Yep, tires for that car will be $400." When I called him out on it, it eventually came out that he had picked a higher-end type of tire that wasn't even going to match the one I had, upselling me without even asking me what I might want or giving me options. Worst part is that I've gone to other Belle Tires in other areas with the same result, like they are purposely testing the waters to see how much they can swindle you. It's almost cartoonish how unethical their behavior is. I walked out. I was not about to be treated like a child. I suggest you don't, either. read more

Simply put: stay away. Brought my car in for tires, and when we picked up the car and drove away, the car had a severe pull to the left. We brought it to our normal mechanic and he asked us what we hit, because the control arm and ball joint were trashed. Went back to Belle Tire and confronted them on it. All they did was deny and referred me to corporate. Called corporate and got the same run around and nothing but denial. They would not compensate me for the cost of the repair. Find it a bizarre coincidence that before we brought the car to them for tires we had no issues and after they were "done" with it I had a $300 additional repair bill. Biggest issue is they let my wife leave their facility with a car that was clearly unsafe for driving. In response to the comments from Belle Tire to my initial review above all I can say is BRAVO!!! The single best example of implausible deniability I have ever seen. "We didn't do it. It must have happened somewhere else". If that were the case, wouldn't the car have been pulling to the left since the service was done elsewhere, which by the way was months ago? No mention of this "justification" was made when I spoke to Belle Tire customer service. TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR ACTIONS!!! Now let's talk numbers; including my review, 45% of the reviews for this particular Belle Tire are 1 star. Not exactly what you would call an exemplary track record.
