A very good option in the area! Their cheese pizza is really really delicious. The sauce was very memorable. Super sweet but very well balanced. I loved it. I also got a few other slices and all were good but I would definitely get a regular cheese pie from here. I also ordered a sausage peppers and onion calzone which was very tasty. I would get an extra side order of sauce cause it's just that good. The staff was very friendly too. Food came out quickly, The restaurant itself is also very cute. Tons of tables to sit and enjoy lunch or dinner. Parking can probably be a little tough so they also deliver if needed. Overall a great option for some great pizza!

This is a cheap cut of veal...ijs

I ordered the veal parmigiana and it was so tough I couldn't eat...19.00 for a sandwich not eatable...change the cut of veal? It wasn't like this the last time I ordered...horrible

As I expand my pizza horizons, I land myself here at Belleville Pizza. What brought me here? A picture of the Palermo Sicilian Pie. Let's not get ahead of ourselves. We're going to start at the beginning. I called and ordered a Buffalo Chicken Pizza (as we always do because our son LOVES Buffalo Chicken), we got the Palermo Sicilian with thin crust and a riceball parmigiano. I was told 25 minutes and 25 minutes later as I was walking in, guys what? It was just coming out. Timing was impeccable. Plus they were fairly crowded. Excellent! Buffalo Chicken was very good. Spicy but not insane hot. Very enjoyable. Looked a little soupy when I opened the box but it held together very well and the crust was nice and crispy. Palermo Sicilian was very different. They used a very sweet sauce on it. It was extremely different. It had fresh mozz topped with crushed tomatoes, some onions, Romano pecorino cheese and olive oil. The taste curveball it threw my wife turned her off. My palate is a little more sophisticated . I found as I finished the first piece and went fit a second, I was beginning to dig it in an odd way. It's not for the adventurous or those set in their pizza ways. The rice ball parmigiano was very good. It was a large riceball quartered and hit with sauce and mozzarella and then baked. Sauce was very good and everything put together went together like Daryl Hall and John Oates.

This pizza was so good I almost cried. I mean just look at the pic. I placed a pick up order thru grubhub for a Buffalo chicken pizza and a side of jalapeño poppers ($6). A lot of places are raising their prices these days which is understandable, but this place had good prices AND tasted amazing. Can't beat that. The pizza was cooked perfectly, it wasn't soggy & no cheese fell off while eating. Everything was ready quickly and it was eaten even quicker so the fact I was able to snag a photo is kind of a miracle. Anyways thanks Belleville pizza I'll be back :)

The pizza is usually good. Just very disappointed in the lack of presentation or even just not even caring. ‍

Live next door in Harrison, but have struggled to find a consistent pie that I love...that was until I tried these guys the other night. Had a plain pie two weeks ago and it was outstanding (some of the best in my 25 years in NJ). The other night we ordered the vodka pie, and it was incredible - the dough was perfect, vodka sauce excellent, and the fresh mozz to top it all off. Can't recommend them enough and am super excited for this to be my new weekly spot.

Belleville Pizza is our go-to Friday night at home. Their speciality pies are amazing. They have never disappointed. Whenever we have company over, everyone raves about the vodka sauce pie.

Delicious pasta and pizza! Found this place by accident and it looks basic from the outside but it's a total gem! The pizza is thick with a delicious crispy bottom and so many fun varieties like chicken Caesar pizza! I've had the baked ziti and lasagna so far from the pastas and they were both amazing and huge portions. Great spot and the guys working behind the counter are always super nice!

My friends and I ordered from the pizzeria for the first time after reading excellent reviews. We ordered three pies: Cheese pizza with jalapeños and bell peppers, Vodka pizza with jalapeños, bell peppers, and spinach, and White pizza with spinach (not pictured below). The Vodka pizza was the party's favorite because of the perfectly seasoned creamy vodka sauce. The least favorite was the White pizza because it was bland and required some hot sauce or red chili flakes. Another reason is that the White pizza was sauceless topped with ricotta, mozzarella, and parmesan cheese. Overall, all of the pies were thin crust and had fresh ingredients, which is always a plus point.

Guy seemed overwhelmed and reluctantly took my order. I showed up 30 min later and no one had any record of my order. I recognized the guy's voice and told him he took my order. He was pissed and got into a shouting match with me with 3 other customers around. He eventually apologized and offered a free side of meatballs and spaghetti (don't order that btw, super underwhelming). 2nd time: Wife placed an order for a pie with half pepperoni on their website. Came back with the order and the pie had full toppings. Small nit but annoying. 3rd time: I called at 6pm on a Thursday. No one picked up. Opted to place order on their website and got the same item as last time. Showed up at and the same miserable guy asked for my name and order... and then said he didn't have any order. I told him I placed an order on the website... and he said "You should have called." with an awful (only a mother can love) grin. I showed him my email confirming 6:20pm pickup time and he said he had no order... before pulling a pie with my name on it. I asked if it had half pepperoni and it didn't. Full toppings AGAIN. Clearly, their website is not equipped to actually take half toppings orders. Pizza is OK but not worth the headache or poor service here.

We spotted Blue Steel which had good, modern curb appeal to our hungry tummies. It looks like downtown Bloomfield is having a moment with some new condos and nicer restaurants coming in. Thanks, gentrification!? Inside has a clubby, bar vibe and we were seated at a hightop near the bar. I love a good wedge salad. I prefer the classic but I appreciate BSP's variation that has tomato, cucumbers, crispy frizzled onions, feta cheese, homemade ranch dressing, and everything sprinkle seasoning. It was generously sized and refreshing. And there's nothing but good things to say about the Detroit-style ezzo pepperoni pie, except that i wish I had a bigger stomach to eat MORE. After the salad (shared), I was only able to manage one slice, but it was a happy slice. My first time trying Detroit-style and it didn't disappoint. PS: There's a tiny, very lumpy and bumpy parking lot in the back that is very tricky to maneuver back out of. If it hadn't been for an Uber driver who got briefly trapped back in there with me, I might still be there today

There is no…read moreshortage of pizza, as they have anywhere from 2,000 to 3,000 pizza restaurants using their family recipe to make some of the best pizzas in America. As the third-largest producer of tomatoes in the entire country, this key pizza-making ingredient not only sets New Jersey's classic 'tomato pies' apart from any ordinary pizza. This 10,000-square-foot, two-story establishment with a neon-lit sign on Glenwood Ave in Bloomfield asks, "Just another pizzeria?" They also house a 20-seat speakeasy that's open Thursday through Saturday called the Rab.bit Hole that can be found upstairs behind a hidden entrance. Opened in 2020, Blue Steel Pizza Company is the answer and should become obvious after looking at the menu. A reservation was easily made via Resy. My partner and I were greeted at the host station and got a regular table in the 1st-floor dining room by the pizza oven in the middle. The vibe was modern and industrial. Patrons had to use their phone flashlights to read the menu as the lighting was pretty dim. They are known for their Detroit-style pizza--a pie baked in a rectangular, traditionally blue-steel pan, the kind once used by autoworkers. It's made with a blend of mozzarella cheese and traditional Wisconsin brick cheese that melts down the side of the pie, making for a burnt, gooey, cheesy crust. It's cold-fermented for three days and is closer to sourdough. It has real flavor and an airier texture. It's like a lighter version of a Sicilian with a buttery crust. As a starter, we decided on the Chopped Salad. For our main entrée, we opted for the Jersey Tomato Pizza Pie. Portions run big enough for sharing, and we downed them with the 1911 Cider. The pizza crust was light, airy, and crispy with the right amount of fresh ingredients, making the ensemble tastefully delicious. The staff was attentive, friendly, and accommodating, and our server was Adam. The price was comparable to the area. We had a wonderful experience and would recommend this place.

I know it sort of changed management to a lovely guy whose name I don't remember who when he first took over came out with samples of delicious specialty pizza and warmly greeted everyone. I placed an order for delivery two days ago. The pizza was good as usual but the lentil soup was really salty, no exaggeration enough to overpower any taste of lentils - I added two cups of water and threw in some ditalini, added garlic, and it was still salty. I'm not sure why that would happen but here's a full proof way to make good lentil soup: per pound of dry lentils, first sautee a chopped medium onion, chopped large stalk of celery and a large or two medium size carrots, two cloves of chopped garlic in some olive oil, then add the lentils, and around 3-4 inches of water above the line of lentils and allow to simmer, don't add salt until it's closer to the lentils being cooked. People with high blood pressure or pregnant cannot handle the amount of salt that was added. It was worse than canned soup. I have ordered it before, last time was around 4 years ago and it was fine. Of course, it may just be an error or a new person making the soup. I have thought that since the change in management, maybe a seasoned Italian woman cook in the kitchen might be a good addition to at least train the staff. I get the impression that the staff are more pizza makers than cooks. I ordered an artichoke not long ago that tasted good but was not fully cooked, my friend ordered lasagne that was covered in mozzarella and was probably over microwaved or however it is heated, and was like paste. This isn't intended to be rude but to point out that for the most part I like your food but feel like certain things can use more care.

We decided to make a trip last night for Saturday dinner. We were seated in the dining room in the back of the pizzeria. When we opened our menus and began to read, we saw a bunch of "rules" for ordering in the dining room. I was informed that we were unable to order just pizza - we had to order appetizers and/or entrées with the pizza. I was also informed that we couldn't order sandwiches in the dining room. Since we had just planned to order pizza, we were forced to also order additional dishes to keep our seat in the dining room. I ordered Penne Vodka as an entrée. For the pizza, the dough had a good texture. I really like when it's cooked in a pan and there's a little but of a thicker crust. The sauce and cheese, however, was lacking in flavor. It seemed to be missing some salt or garlic. The entrees were just okay, nothing spectacular. I wasn't a huge fan of the chunky tomato sauce used in the pasta dishes. I was a bit disappointed since Ralph's was highly rated by Barstool's One Bite. I don't think I will be rushing back. Pizza: 3/5 Penne Vodka: 3/5
