I have always like ZiZia's pizza and a few other dishes, as well as consistent great service by Patty on Sundays and parties. I know it sort of changed management to a lovely guy whose name I don't remember who when he first took over came out with samples of delicious specialty pizza and warmly greeted everyone. I placed an order for delivery two days ago. The pizza was good as usual but the lentil soup was really salty, no exaggeration enough to overpower any taste of lentils - I added two cups of water and threw in some ditalini, added garlic, and it was still salty. I'm not sure why that would happen but here's a full proof way to make good lentil soup: per pound of dry lentils, first sautee a chopped medium onion, chopped large stalk of celery and a large or two medium size carrots, two cloves of chopped garlic in some olive oil, then add the lentils, and around 3-4 inches of water above the line of lentils and allow to simmer, don't add salt until it's closer to the lentils being cooked. People with high blood pressure or pregnant cannot handle the amount of salt that was added. It was worse than canned soup. I have ordered it before, last time was around 4 years ago and it was fine. Of course, it may just be an error or a new person making the soup. I have thought that since the change in management, maybe a seasoned Italian woman cook in the kitchen might be a good addition to at least train the staff. I get the impression that the staff are more pizza makers than cooks. I ordered an artichoke not long ago that tasted good but was not fully cooked, my friend ordered lasagne that was covered in mozzarella and was probably over microwaved or however it is heated, and was like paste. This isn't intended to be rude but to point out that for the most part I like your food but feel like certain things can use more care. read more

Came here one day for lunch. I found a parking spot in their lot. Upon entering i was warmly greeted. I looked at the pizza on display and they all looked good. I heard a guy in front of me order a hot honey pepperoni slice, so I decided to get that too along with fries. My order came to $11. I dined in. And my food was brought to me quickly. The pizza was very good and crispy, fries were slightly well done. I would come here again. I also came here again and tried the $8 lunch specials which is a very good deal. I always try to give positive feedback but, when you are a chef and a foodie, as I am.. it is so important to be honest about the quality of food as well as your personal experience with the restaurant itself. We ordered pizza and salad a few days ago straight from the restaurant's website as they have their own personal delivery. It was a simple order.. a margarita pizza and Caesar salad. First, the delivery was HORRIBLE. It took them 2 hours and two phone calls to get the restaurant to deliver.. while I understand traffic and weekends.. that is unacceptable and the pizza was cold. Now for the reason that I did give 3 stars.. the pizza was excellent!! The sauce was perfectly balanced and the CHEESE... the mozzarella was excellent. We will have the pizza again, but we did decide we would have to actually go into the restaurant and no go on the delivery. read more

It's not sweet or too herby, it's nice. The dough was perfectly cooked and just enough crust for my liking. The Sicilian was perfect to me. I know some people will want an argument because they enjoy a thick Sicilian slice but I think zia's is great. It's not too doughy, a perfect ratio of toppings to bread. Today I figured I would try this place out. The menu was left in our mailbox a couple weeks ago. I was craving pizza from somewhere I haven't really tried considering there is a bunch already in my area that I have already tried. My experience started with the phone call. So let me start with the pizza holy moly I asked for a buffalo chicken pie medium well done and that's exactly what they delivered. The pie wasn't super crispy and was still a little soft but there was no flop!! Everything stayed in tact and nothing flopped over. The entire pie was drizzled with blue cheese and ranch dressing and Frank's red hot sauce it was such a perfect balance nothing was overbearing. The pizza was well constructed well cooked and tasted awesome! The mozzarella in carroza was fried to a perfect crisp not overcooked and not soaked in oil. I've never tried something like this before but holy crap was it amazing. It seems to me as this is a house remake of mozzarella sticks and it freaking works! The little triangles were perfectly cheesy crunchy and soft all in the right places. And they give you more than enough marinara sauce for dipping and dipping and dipping, lol! The girl told me I should expect delivery in about an hour and the food arrived in 45 minutes so I was very impressed with that as well. Delivery driver was kind and courteous as well and very professional. My overall experience of this entire place was amazing. I would recommend it if you are trying to find a change of pace or just some new flavors. The staff were quite nice to us and whole pizza pies came out pretty fast. The kids had no complaints and the restaurant had an overall cozy feel to it. G!! the pepperoni was very good, but the Italian hotdog was absolutely without a doubt delicious! The crust was thin and crispy, and it was topped with dogs, peppers, onion, and crispy potatoes.
