10 Garlic Parmesan Wings (~$23 combo including pizza)
    Aya E.

Ordered: 1 Large Pizza + 10 Wings (~$23): regular pizza + garlic parmesan flavor for the wings Aya's take: Local family-run pizzeria with great customer service! We ordered this for pick up and it was ready when we arrived ~20 minutes later. The Large Pizza was definitely enough for 2-3 people and was well-made. Being from NY, I've had my fair share of good pizza and at this price point, you can't go wrong. I'm also a wing addict, so these Garlic Parmesan Wings had me floating! Crispy, saucy, and great with ranch. Great spot to try if you're in the area!

Always great food and service. We love the eggplant, penne with vodka, chicken parm and pizza. The antipasto was great! The cappuccino was so good!

Hands down 5 stars for food and service! This has quickly become a favorite spot for my family because of the quality of the food, the reasonable prices, and the A plus service. Portions are huge and quality is spot on. The salmon is a personal favorite of mine. I'm also addicted to the bread they make for the table. It's so soft and flavorful. Make a rez if you want to come on a weekend. And don't forget the wine - it's BYOB!

I was in the area for something else and just searched for a close-by pizza place. This pizza is GAS. One of the best slices I've ever had (pepperoni, hot honey, chicken, vodka sauce). Will be back

I order from here often their food has always been good, their service is quick and since I order to go can't say much about the ambience. Recently I order a Philly cheesesteak and it was delicious! I usually order the rigatoni vodka, the personal pie and a tartufu or tiramisu all the food has always been great in flavor and portion size. Definitely recommend!

This is some solid za! Ordered some pizza for dinner because quarantine, duh. Delivery was pretty fast and the pizza was perfectly hot upon arrival. I love their regular pie, the sauce is just right. It's not sweet or too herby, it's nice. The dough was perfectly cooked and just enough crust for my liking. The Sicilian was perfect to me. I know some people will want an argument because they enjoy a thick Sicilian slice but I think zia's is great. It's not too doughy, a perfect ratio of toppings to bread. I would definitely order from here again. Their menu also looks extensive, the dinners look scrumptious. When quarantine is over I would definitely want to dine in and have some dinner here. They also have a nutella pie that looks like a small piece of heaven. Try them out!

Today I figured I would try this place out. The menu was left in our mailbox a couple weeks ago. I was craving pizza from somewhere I haven't really tried considering there is a bunch already in my area that I have already tried. My experience started with the phone call. The young lady who picked up the phone was extremely professional and seem to have an awesome personality. She was very friendly and patient with my order considering I had questions and wanted to know her recommendations on specific items. I ended up ordering the buffalo chicken pizza mozzarella in carroza. So let me start with the pizza holy moly I asked for a buffalo chicken pie medium well done and that's exactly what they delivered. The pie wasn't super crispy and was still a little soft but there was no flop!! Everything stayed in tact and nothing flopped over. The entire pie was drizzled with blue cheese and ranch dressing and Frank's red hot sauce it was such a perfect balance nothing was overbearing. The pizza was well constructed well cooked and tasted awesome! The mozzarella in carroza was fried to a perfect crisp not overcooked and not soaked in oil. I've never tried something like this before but holy crap was it amazing. It seems to me as this is a house remake of mozzarella sticks and it freaking works! The little triangles were perfectly cheesy crunchy and soft all in the right places. And they give you more than enough marinara sauce for dipping and dipping and dipping, lol! The girl told me I should expect delivery in about an hour and the food arrived in 45 minutes so I was very impressed with that as well. Delivery driver was kind and courteous as well and very professional. My overall experience of this entire place was amazing. I would recommend it if you are trying to find a change of pace or just some new flavors. But I also add the menu is massive so you bet I'm gonna slowly start chomping away at a menu in the weeks to come. Thank you Zia!

We're still slowly working our way through local spots, and Brick + Dough was highly recommended to us. We started with garlic knots, bread, and fries, and honestly... 10/10 across the board. Everything was SO good. The fries especially are still living rent free in my head. We then split three pizzas, all of which were seriously incredible. The perfect balance of cheese, sauce, and crust, just absolutely nailed. We ended the night with cookies and ice cream, and I can confidently say this place will be seeing me again very, very soon. The service was nice, especially because even though we were the only table sitting outside, they were consistently coming out to make sure we were doing OK and had everything we needed. We ordered some garlic knots, which were good, it just seemed a little bit pricey to charge for the marinara sauce separately, which was not really outstanding nor something special, so I would recommend you skip it. We also ordered the chicken vodka Parm pie which was very good. The chicken was very crispy and the pizza was still delicious the next day when we had the leftovers. One of her friends is allergic to gluten, so it was very nice that they were able to accommodate for her. I do wanna point out that we have been to many places that offer gluten-free options and this is the first one I've been to that does charge you extra to make a gluten-free. In terms of price, it is very similar to the other places in Montclair but they do provide very good service and the ambience both outside and inside is very nice.

Guy seemed overwhelmed and reluctantly took my order. I showed up 30 min later and no one had any record of my order. I recognized the guy's voice and told him he took my order. He was pissed and got into a shouting match with me with 3 other customers around. He eventually apologized and offered a free side of meatballs and spaghetti (don't order that btw, super underwhelming). 2nd time: Wife placed an order for a pie with half pepperoni on their website. Came back with the order and the pie had full toppings. Small nit but annoying. 3rd time: I called at 6pm on a Thursday. No one picked up. Opted to place order on their website and got the same item as last time. Showed up at and the same miserable guy asked for my name and order... and then said he didn't have any order. I told him I placed an order on the website... and he said "You should have called." with an awful (only a mother can love) grin. I showed him my email confirming 6:20pm pickup time and he said he had no order... before pulling a pie with my name on it. I asked if it had half pepperoni and it didn't. Full toppings AGAIN. Clearly, their website is not equipped to actually take half toppings orders. Pizza is OK but not worth the headache or poor service here.

We spotted Blue Steel which had good, modern curb appeal to our hungry tummies. It looks like downtown Bloomfield is having a moment with some new condos and nicer restaurants coming in. Thanks, gentrification!? Inside has a clubby, bar vibe and we were seated at a hightop near the bar. I love a good wedge salad. I prefer the classic but I appreciate BSP's variation that has tomato, cucumbers, crispy frizzled onions, feta cheese, homemade ranch dressing, and everything sprinkle seasoning. It was generously sized and refreshing. And there's nothing but good things to say about the Detroit-style ezzo pepperoni pie, except that i wish I had a bigger stomach to eat MORE. After the salad (shared), I was only able to manage one slice, but it was a happy slice. My first time trying Detroit-style and it didn't disappoint. PS: There's a tiny, very lumpy and bumpy parking lot in the back that is very tricky to maneuver back out of. As the third-largest producer of tomatoes in the entire country, this key pizza-making ingredient not only sets New Jersey's classic 'tomato pies' apart from any ordinary pizza. This 10,000-square-foot, two-story establishment with a neon-lit sign on Glenwood Ave in Bloomfield asks, "Just another pizzeria?" They also house a 20-seat speakeasy that's open Thursday through Saturday called the Rab.bit Hole that can be found upstairs behind a hidden entrance. Opened in 2020, Blue Steel Pizza Company is the answer and should become obvious after looking at the menu. A reservation was easily made via Resy. My partner and I were greeted at the host station and got a regular table in the 1st-floor dining room by the pizza oven in the middle. The vibe was modern and industrial. Patrons had to use their phone flashlights to read the menu as the lighting was pretty dim. They are known for their Detroit-style pizza--a pie baked in a rectangular, traditionally blue-steel pan, the kind once used by autoworkers. It's made with a blend of mozzarella cheese and traditional Wisconsin brick cheese that melts down the side of the pie, making for a burnt, gooey, cheesy crust. It's cold-fermented for three days and is closer to sourdough. It has real flavor and an airier texture. It's like a lighter version of a Sicilian with a buttery crust. As a starter, we decided on the Chopped Salad. For our main entrée, we opted for the Jersey Tomato Pizza Pie. Portions run big enough for sharing, and we downed them with the 1911 Cider. The pizza crust was light, airy, and crispy with the right amount of fresh ingredients, making the ensemble tastefully delicious. The staff was attentive, friendly, and accommodating, and our server was Adam. The price was comparable to the area. We had a wonderful experience and would recommend this place.
