I have been going to Park dental for 10 years and love it! I get weekly compliments on my smile that they have improved through restorative cosmetic edits, and Invisalign. Dr. Hong got me through Invisalign and improved it with some tweaks, excellent work!!! Dr. Park helped me through some root canals and crowns. When I moved from out of state, I looked up the nearest dentistry from where I was temporarily living. I went based on number of reviews, star rating, and user experience with the website. This location pretty much checked all the boxes for me and even more once I met the staff and was serviced by them. Everyone is so nice and helpful. I've worked with all three dentist there, Dr. Weaver more than the other two (he happened to always the available doctor for most of my visits). They are all amazing, Dr. Weaver especially. He was so sweet and nurturing (I'm a nervous wreck when it comes to procedures). I've moved back to CA, but still travel to WA for work. I still schedule my dentist appointments here when I'm on a work trip. That's how much I love this place and would much rather see them when I visit than finding a dentistry in CA. I hate going to the dentist. It freaks me out something fierce and for years I avoided it at all costs. Fortunately for me and my teeth, I found this clinic! I've been a client off and on (insurance changes took them in and out of network a time or two) for three years, and it's the first dental office I've found where I wasn't in tears at any point. Yes, my dentist anxiety is that bad. When I first started coming in 2016, I hadn't been to the dentist for at least three years. I was very scared, and they were so kind to me even as I had to have a more rigorous than normal cleaning. Grace is my favorite hygienist. She is as gentle as possible, tries to distract me as best she can, tells me what I'm doing well on, and how to improve my homecare. I've implemented her tips on cleaning and it has led to easier cleanings. I've been seen by Dr Park and Dr Juen, and both have been great. They are gentle both in their work and their approach, and explain what they do and why so that you aren't caught off guard. I've been lucky to not need any terribly invasive procedures (yet), but trust them to do the work when needed. read more

I have been to Dr. Park's dental office for many years, and then because my insurance issue, I had to switch to another dentist, which turn out to be a huge mistake. Now I am back with Dr. Park, even though I have to pay more out of pocket, but it is really worth it. Dr. Park is the most skillful and honest dentist I have ever seen. I had an appointment here yesterday for the first time. My appointment was at 5pm and they brought me back around 520pm (they had a customer come in for an emergency which was what caused the delay). The assistants were so friendly and kind. They checked on me multiple times, made easy talk with me, and was very quick and efficient. Dr. Park is so knowledgeable! He explained everything to me very clearly so that I was following along with his thought process. I told him I wanted a better smile and just wanted someone to make a plan with me to make it happen. He did exactly that. Before I left, I had a plan, an understanding of the plan, and my next appointment set so that I was ready to get the plan in motion. I've been going to this dentist for about 9 years. I had various treatments since then. On Friday night, I started to have a serious tooth pain that doesn't resolve with any narcotics, the pain was so severe I was shaking and couldn't do anything. I called the doctor immediately, I explained the situation and she was so concerned that she squeezed me in to see what was going on. She explained what was going on with my tooth and out of all the options she explained, I decided to extract my teeth. Thankfully, she was able to get me in for sedation due to the seriousness of pain I had, I was almost crashed, she extracted two teeth and got all the infections out. I came home and slept for 6 hours lol. Feeling like a brand new person. How did she do so well that I don't even feel pain now. No pain from tooth, no pain from extraction. I've done this procedure before with my front teeth, so I know what to expect, but this is definitely not it.THANK YOU SO MUCH Dr. Hong and team for the awsome treaeny you gave me today. This place is the worst specially if you received a bill that showed no service description or itemized. I feel that kind of cheating the customer and luck of transparency. As a customer everyone should know that what kind of service you received including the service fees but here you never ever get that opportunity. After reading the other reviews on here about how empathetic, gentle, patient and kind Dr. Park is, I'm left scratching my head. He is definitely very thorough and meticulous, but gentle, patient and kind he is not. He had no empathy what so ever when he was poking and prodding my teeth. He actually appeared very frustrated and somewhat angry when I would say that it hurt when he poked and prodded. At the end of the cleaning I mentioned that there was one area between my teeth that I would appreciate him going over again a bit and he got very upset with this and when he finally did go over the area - he was so aggressive with the tool, even ignoring me while I made distressed sounds of pain that after I came home I saw that I had a red mark on my gums where he had gone over them. I thought it might be some leftover food, but after swishing with water and gently touching that area, I realized that it was actually a small wound on my gum. Also, I felt that since I had a living social voucher I was treated differently than the other patients that were there. He took the time to chat with them before they left. As I was leaving, he did not even acknowledge me and completely ignored me meanwhile talking with the other patient who looked like he was a regular. There were some other things that made me uncomfortable like the repeated questions of whether I had a regular dentist, amongst other things. The parking lot is a nightmare to maneuver out of. My car is not that big, a medium sized sedan, but there was so little space to back out that I bumped the back end of my car and scraped off a good chunk of paint on the enclosure that was made out of rocks and was so close to the parking spaces that I don't know how cars bigger than mine even manage to get out without completely damaging the back bumper. On a positive note, the dental assistant was very nice and empathic and made me feel very comfortable. All in all, a mixed experience. I'm still somewhat shaken though from how rough and aggressive he was with my teeth. I usually hesitate to do a negative review when I have had a horrendous experience, but this was an experience that I would not want anybody to repeat. read more

I found Dr. Park and his staff to be very friendly. I found them by doing a search via 1-800 Dentist. Dr. Park has excellent chair side manner. I like that he's thorough and carefully explains the 'process' and the 'why' behind his decisions. During my procedure he would periodically ask me how I was doing - it's great that he checks in to make sure his patients are doing fine throughout their dental procedure. I plan on going to him for Invisalign treatment. I enjoyed my experience that I referred over a co-worker and her experience mirrored mine. read more

My wife and I's first and only visit was a couple years ago. I was recently reminded of the experience and realized I needed to share. Do not go here. I received a "Tsk tsk" and "oh nonono" for having several cavities, by Dr Park. He told me that the implant I had just had done at another office was done wrong and may soon come loose. 2 yr later It has never been anything but solid. He then began the roughest, most excruciating cleaning Ive ever experienced, without telling me, (first visit...I thought I was there for an evaluation) I had to end the "cleaning" halfway through. Meanwhile my wife was getting prepped for a crown by another Dr. Her tongue was cut open while numb, which she learned herself in the car ride home when there was blood in her mouth. After a week losing sleep from pain and formally complaining that she was not told, Dr park offered to finish the crown for free. she went back for the rest of the procedure. She was extremely nervous it would happen again and was visibly upset. I stayed in the room with my wife while Dr park worked. He apologized for the other Dr. and stated that she had felt very badly for cutting her tongue. Which let us know they had known a mistake was made and chose not to tell my wife. The best part. Dr Park stated while I was in the room that he was surprised she was so upset, its usually the boyfriend that is upset. I replied "husband.. and that is why I am here". We picked this office based on reviews. At the time there were no negative comments about this office. read more

Nice clean n friendly office. The work was good just a few things that bother me. My two red flags. Flag 1 Every time the dentist would go to work on another patient he would take the gloves off and set them down in the general area. Then when he would return he would put the same gloves back on and start working again. (Not my idea of safe healthy practices) this happened over n over until I said something. Flag 2 Ive now received a 30/60/90/120 day late notice on a outstanding bill . I have called each time with no results. The billing company keeps telling me that they have not sent it over to the insurance company yet. So not a great experience. read more

My experience here was great! The location was pretty convenient and the staff was friendly. Dr. Park was very empathetic with me as a patient. Unlike other dentists I've seen, Dr. Park was transparent with the process and always informed me the reason behind everything. The worst dental clinic I ever been in! Liars! DR. Park is a total liar! He said my insurance covers the cleaning and exam 100 percent, which it does but they send me a bill that I owe $60! I gave them a chance two times, last year I paid $76 for a filling the day of the appointment, 3 months later they send me a bill for $76 which I paid and have prof with my bank statement. If I paid cash or didn't have prof I would of owed them $76 again! Total liars! read more

Dr. Park and Dr. Hong have been our family dentist since we moved to the Seattle area. They are competent in techniques and demonstrate update treatments in regular check-ups in surgical treatments. My husband did his implant last year and I am in process of my implant procedure with Dr. Park. And my son is in his second phase orthodontic treatment with Dr. Hong. Just went to see Dr. Park for a check up and cleaning. I'm always a bit nervous at the dentist because I remember some painful experiences when I was a kid. The assistant, kharen, was super nice and she explained everything as she went along. Nothing was in the dark and I felt like I was really taken care of here. One slightly bad thing though was that the cleaning was a bit rough. That may be due to my own oral health though and the doctor may just be cleaning thoroughly. But overall it was a great experience. Dr. Park seemed really caring and took a good amount of time explaining what needed to be done. I had no cavities, so they don't lie to you about procedures like the other reviewers state! Also, I work in the dental field too, so trust me when I say it's a good office to go to. read more

I really like how Doctor Park and his crew do their job and I strongly recommend everybody who has problems with their teeth to have an appointment with Doctor Park. He did amazing job fixing my teeth, he always explains everything very clearly and makes sure that I understand that. Also, he teaches how to take care of the teeth to not only resolve problems with them but also to prevent problems. With time I started trusting him taking care with my teeth. Visiting a dentist was always a nightmare for me before, but now it's different. I just come to his office, lay on the chair and keep my mouth opened. When I came to US my teeth were in very bad shape. I didn't know how to take care of them properly and I didn't like to brush them, because my gum was always bleeding when I did that. My first visits to his office were complicated since I had very deep cavities, but Doctor Park was spending over his working hours to fix my teeth. Those visits were actually much harder for him then for me, because he was giving me anesthesia and I just had to lay in the chair, but he had to be very concentrated and attentive working on my teeth for 2-3 hours without any breaks. After few visits I got regular habits of brushing my teeth, flossing them regularly after eating, my gum stopped bleeding and I actually started to like taking of them. Now I have much less problems with my teeth. Recently, we were even able to do a filling in the tooth without using anesthesia (for the first time). I'm very happy that Doctor Park is my dentist and I thinks he deserves 6 stars. read more

My review of Bellevue Park Dental is long overdue! I've been going here for a few years now and I've always been more than satisfied with the care from Dr. Park and his staff. I like Dr. Park because he is thorough and takes the time to explain what he is doing and why he is doing it. He asks periodically, "Are you okay" and checks to make sure that you're comfortable. I really like that there aren't surprises when he's working on your teeth because he communicates with you each step of the way. He has always been gentle with my teeth and if there might be some possible sensitive areas, he'll ask me to let him know if it bothers me. Even though I live 45 minutes away (longer if I'm stuck in traffic), the drive is worth the professional service and care I receive from Dr. Park. read more

All the staff and clinicians are friendly, knowledgeable, competent. Valerie, a front desk lady, was especially personable. Dr. Park was thorough with his explanations of my teeth/gum x-rays and was meticulous/patient/gentle with the rest of the examination and procedures. When he detected a cavity, I trusted him enough to schedule another appointment right away, which they were kind enough to do so the same day of my cleaning/exam/xrays. Knowing I didn't have insurance, Dr. Park even gave me a discount without altering quality of care. That shows a doctor who puts his patients first. I completely agree with one of the previous review. Dr. Park's office is unethical and liars! Dr. Park is a contracted dentist with my insurance, that is the reason I chose him. My insurance covers 100% of the work I needed to do. When I came to do the procedure, I was provided an estimate for over $400. I was given an explanation that he doesn't perform the type of crowns that are covered, and will do a different one that is not covered. Thus, I need to pay 100% of the cost!!!! I had to leave his office. He is definitely doing some scam with insurance and doing unethical billing of his clients when the work should be all covered. Stay away from him!!!! read more
