I have been to Bellezza on and off for the last year or so. Last summer I swore never to come back after leaving from a pedi bleeding in three places. But after several months a friend encouraged me to give them another try so I did. I went several times for gel manicures and things were going well.... until today. I called to schedule a 2pm pedi for myself and my two girls and was told that the only time available was 1:30. I rearranged our plans a bit to make it work. We arrived at 1:25 and were told they were running a little behind - no big deal, it happens. At 1:50 the waiting area was starting to fill up with other customers and I asked how much longer it would be. They had my girls share a pedi chair (no big deal, they're small) and put me in another.... with no water. After 5 more minutes I asked if I could get water and someone helped me. My girls got their toes painted but by this time it was 2:15 and it was 45 minutes past my scheduled appointment time. As though that wasn't bad enough, they had started helping not 1, not 2, not 3, but 4 F-O-U-R people who arrived after me! At that point I asked again when I would get service and acknowledged to them all the people that were getting service who arrived AFTER me. I was told it would be another 5 minutes! Doubtful! At that point I simply told them I was disappointed at the ridiculous wait time and poor service for helping others first and asked for a towel to dry my feet and leave. They tried to get me to stay and WAIT EVEN LONGER but I insisted that it was time to for me to leave. The service was downright horrible and RUDE and I will NOT be coming back to Bellezza.... despite the fact that my daughters and I still have $50 with of gift certificates there!!!! read more

The worst service I have ever had. I went in for gel polish and a 30 minute service turned in to two hours, and I had an appointment. Color only, not even cuticles trimmed and lotion. Each person was servicing two to three clients at a time. I had to wait 10-20 minutes between coats while other clients were having their nails done. When I left I had polish all over my cuticles, I didn't say anything because by then I just wanted to get out of there. Not even a sorry for the length of time. DO NOT VISIT THIS SALON UNLESS YOU WANT PAIN AND A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! So incredibly disappointed by the nail salon I visited on 6/10/13. Bellezza Nails in Roseville has lost my business, my family will not return, and I will tell everyone I know about this experience forever. My appointment was at 11 am. They gave me a person on her third day at the job. While sitting for the pedicure, I was chatting with the woman next to me and she had gotten gel polish and it lasted since April 13. I asked the owner of the salon how much more it was for gel and he said $5. That sounded good to me. She finished the toes and we went to do the fingers. She wound up cutting my cuticle so close that she made my thumb bleed. I stopped the manicure right away because it wouldn't stop bleeding. The owner, Thomas, had no sympathy and just stated that she did a great job and gave me a band aid. Then he proceeded to tell me that the gel pedicure is $13 more than the regular pedicure. AND he charged me $8 for her great job of "cleaning" up my nails. Her last step of the pedicure was to apply more OIL NOT LOTION such that as you can see from the photo my feet are still shiny with oil and are so slippery I have to wash them so I don't slip in my house. I have pointed nails now that I will have to file and paint myself. Feet that are still rough and slippery that I have too fix and am out the money he charged me. I went back after 4pm because 7 of my 10 fingers have cuts on the tips and hurt to touch things. Thomas' response was that she did nothing wrong and that it is my fault because I have thin skin. Additionally, when I said to him that I would not return he became belligerent with me and yelled at ME. I didn't ask for a refund at the time, nor did I make much fuss because I had my father with me (who also got a pedicure) and wanted to save him from a scene. This is horrible customer service. I've never been to a place that made a mistake and then blamed the customer. read more

I'm a regular at Bellezza (have been for about 5 years) I always get a pedicure, its a good idea to make an appointment though. Great price for a beautiful salon, super friendly staff, and a great service. Their nail polish color selection could be better, sometimes I bring my own. Otherwise, great nail salon. read more

I'm only willing to give it two stars due to the pleasant environment. It's an attractive "spa". So, my mom, my sister and my two dearest friends are here getting our mani-pedis for my wedding in two days. First - we made appointments, as any polite customer would and hoped we would have received undivided attention. Wrong. I understand having one manicurist focusing on more than one customer if their stage in the process doesn't require attention but they left my mothers hands soaking in acetone for over 15 minutes until I got someone's attention that she was still sitting there... she was treated poorly and her manicure was awful. It took them two hours to do her hands and they still messed up her nails and we had to come back. On a personal note - I'm a huge fan of the massage that's usually given to the arms after a manicure or some sort of lotioned rub down - which no one in our party got, despite the fac that I ended up paying $50 for my full set. I left feeling frustrated and ripped off with one conclusion: It's over priced and less than stellar workmanship. Also - be prepared to deal with your manicurist ignoring you while she/he speaks with everyone around you in Vietnamese. The girl working on me didn't even try to be polite. read more

Thomas is the BEST. The only person I would go to for acrylics.They look natural and last a long time. Bellezza does a wonderful job! Their pedicures are nice, too - good massage, quality products. I have been coming here for years. It seems like every time I go this past year or so it keeps getting worse and worse. The last time I went there was dead skin all over the tool she was about to start my manicure with. It was not my skin since she hadn't even started! It was so disgusting. Cheap and sleezy. They charge extra for gel OPI nail polish and didn't tell me till I got up to the register. No other salon does this that I know of. They also give no massages for gel manicures and left my nails dry as hell. Very disappointed and definitely not going back. read more

TERRIBLE NAILS, TERRIBLE SERVICE, TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. My friends and I came in for two fills and a set, our nails were cut and made terribly. The shape is ass the color opacity is shit. Came in with broken nails and left with worse looking and feeling nails. It's been two hours and my nails are still wet. They do an okay job on pedicures but when I asked for Gel Acrylics on my nails they did not so what I asked and would not fix it for me. And when I told them to fix them they were incredibly rude about it. I am definitely not going back. I'm sure there are other places who will treat their customers better. read more

Nice, clean little nail salon. I had never been there before, but received a gift certificate so gave it a try. Got a nice pedicure for $22, which still looks good now even after almost three weeks. I had an appointment, but they take a lot of walk-ins, and it's my impression that having an appointment doesn't give you any priority over someone walking in two minutes before you, nor does it guarantee that you'll get in or out "on schedule." Nicely decorated interior (unlike many of the strip-mall, fluorescent-lighted places I see). Definitely worth giving it a try, especially for walk-ins. read more

This is the most amazing nail salon ever! I am the pickiest person when it comes to french manicure and I get it on my toes and fingers and Chi does an AMAZING job and does it just like I ask. She remembers me each time I go in, even if it has been forever since I have been in. This is the cleanest and best decorated nail salon - so classy. TRY IT!!! I was given a gift certificate to this salon for $34.00, so I went with two girlfriends after having lunch to check it out, we made an appointment for 3 pedicures for 3:00. When we got there, we had to wait about 20 minutes to get started, which is annoying to me since thats the whole point of the appointment, then when we were seated, I gave the lady my gift certificate and selected the $35 pedicure package, she stated there was not time for this package and an appointment would have to be made...I told her I had an appointment...she argued with me that I should have been specific of which pedicure package I wanted when I called (even though when I called I said I had never been there!) So, I got the normal pedicure package. I picked out pink for my nail color, and while she was doing my pedicure I was chatting with friends and didn't pay much attention. She painted my toes the most florescent orange I have ever seen in my life, sure I put part of the blame on me for not noticing until she was done but she definetly used paint someone else had selected! After I was done, I asked her to apply the difference in my gift certificate to my friend's pedicure, and got another argument... after about 5 minutes of back & forth she complied and credited my friend's pedicure with the difference. I will NEVER go back to this salon, not only are they rude but they don't listen, and apparently you need an appointment for an appointment there. No thanks, Bellazza. I am not impressed. read more

Just returned home from my LAST pedicure at this place. I have been a customer of Thomas's shop for years, even followed him from Renaissance Nails when he opened his own shop. I quit having my nails done years ago but have been a loyal pedicure customer. We have had our ups and downs over the years but I felt that the cleanliness factor offset the horrifying turnover. Every time I find a person that does my pedicure the way I like, they are gone in a month. Today, I was kept waiting for over fifteen minutes (even though I booked the "appointment" this morning). Once in all these years I was ten minutes late and was told I'd have to reschedule, but clearly "on time" is just for their convenience. The woman that did my pedi today dug at my toe so much it was bleeding and I am sure I will be paying for a trip to my doctor for antibiotics before the weekend is over. When I told Thomas that she hurt me and made my toe bleed, he tried to act like it was MY fault. This is the last time I give that greedy, insincere little toad a penny of my money. Sick to death of them speaking constantly in Vietnamese (welcome to AMERICA, we speak ENGLISH here), shisty service and more often than not, poor quality. Thomas, you need to remember the customers that keep your shop open and treat them with a little more respect. Considering a complaint to the appropriate licensing board. I doubt that you care, but you just lost a long time customer. read more

Thomas was the best! I had gotten acrylics at Renaissance and was not happy so I went to him and he fixed them and made them just the way I wanted! I was thrilled with the atmosphere and the service. I ended up paying $35 (I believe it was the price for a fill and half a set of acrylics because he needed to replace a few nails). When I first went there I was also impressed. However, over tme I became very disappointed as my nails would break starting the next day after the appointment due to poor work. Once when I booked a pedicure, they did not ask which one I wanted and when I requested a more expensive one they said no, they didn't have time. Their standard pedicure was also very poor and showed defects within days. I will no longer go there and am on the hunt for a new nail salon. I came here with my mom for manicures. We made an appointment for 10 AM and when we walked in, there was no one available to take us, which was the point of making an appointment. We waited about 10 minutes before they asked us both to sit down. A lady came to get started on my mom after a few minutes. She sits down without saying a word to her and just starts. No "Hi, how are you?" or anything. I wasn't even started on until about 10:30. I understand that most nail salons want as much business as possible and they will take any walk-ins they can get, but obviously making an appointment with them makes no difference. My mom's manicure turned out great and she ended up loving the service done by her technician which was Kim. But mine was just so-so. My nails were cut and filed nice but the polish job wasn't great. A lot of color ended up on my skin and cuticles, and the glitter overlay was uneven and not great looking. The prices are $12 manicure and $22 pedicure. They also charged me $5 to take off previous gel polish I had on. read more

This was my 1st time here and I didn't have an appointment. I guess if you don't make an appointment, then your service is horrible bc that's exactly what I got. The girl that did my pedicure didn't ask what I wanted. She just took my polish off, cleaned and scrubbed my feet with nothing but plain water, and used instruments that was randomly sitting on the side of a cart that another worker was using for someone else. I waited to see if she was going to correct herself and be professional and ask me what I wanted, but never did. This is the 1st time I've ever, or shall I say, NEVER had the person that did my pedicures to not talk to me or ask me what I wanted. So disappointed bc I'm not from this state, and thought this was a good place bc of the reviews. This is a beautiful salon and a very friendly staff. They don't speak the best English but enough to get by. I came here for the convenience of the location. I've been twice now and was able to walk right in the first time and asked to come back in a half hour the second time, which worked out fine for my schedule. I think I will call for an appointment next time. The service I receive was shellac nails or gel nails both times. They took great care to clean up my cuticles and file down my nails to a nice shape. He process of gel nails is really cool. They put a bonding agent first, then a base coat followed by two coats of color and then a top coat. Between each coat you place your hand in a curing machine that hardens each layer. The polish lasts for 2 weeks with no chipping! I got so many compliments on them! The process of taking the shellac off is a little more involved. They wrap your fingers with cotton, acetone and foil. Then they have to scrape and file it off the rest of the way. I will definitely be back. It only cost $25 dollars which I thought was very reasonable. Next time I'm going to do a pedicure! read more
