This is genuinely one of the best nail salons I've been to! They are very diligent and quick with their work without missing a detail. I came to get a set removed from another shop and wanted to preserve my natural nail as much as possible. They recommended a layer of builder gel to minimize breakage, which I appreciated the insight because I wasn't too sure what I needed for my natural nails to be their best in between sets. Unfortunately the place I went to before to get a full set wasn't as careful with application so my nails had some damage but Amour saved my life! I wish I lived closer so I can come more often but I will definitely be back for regular manicures at least. Their interior and the equipment they use is very well kept. My sister and I came in for our pedicures I booked earlier this week. This place is very cute and located right by tj maxx. It used to be "pick a color." I had a wonderful experience and the pricing is reasonable. The quality and care we received was top notch. We both got the coffee pedicure and it was great! I travel frequently and always have to take the risk with trying a new nail salon. There is nothing worse than paying good money for a service that is not up to standard. Luckily, I had a 10/10 appointment yesterday. I booked my appointment online. I had to call to adjust and it they were accommodating. The salon is new, clean, and relaxing. I did a milk and honey pedicure with gel French. The pedicure had a long massage and was super nice. For my nails I did builder gel French with white chrome and they look perfect. Samantha did my manicure and was super fun to talk to. My total for all the services mentioned plus gel removal on my nails was ~$175. I came in for a builder gel manicure on my natural nails, which had gotten very, very damaged from a manicure at a different location while traveling. Samantha helped me and she was amazing! She assessed my nails and walked me through different options that were realistic with my current nail health, set me up with a super comfy armrest and phone holder, and gave me a fantastic manicure. I'm new to the area and wanted to establish a new nail salon that I could frequent. Did some googling and found this gem! Kind of a late post but I made an appointment 2 weeks ago for a pedicure & for a new set with GelX. I made the appointment on their website which was easy to navigate. The day I walked in for my appointment, I was really impressed by the color selection they have displayed on the wall. Yeah, there's pics of the wall online but actually seeing it with my own eyeballs was like... wow! They offer beverages (alcohol & non-alcoholic) but I settled for water. The establishment is very clean, organized and welcoming. I didn't feel judged walking in (like some of the salons I would go to back home in San Diego.) Anyway, I never had GelX before but Ann was very accommodating and saying I would probably like it since it's a little more natural looking and feeling than acrylic. I showed her a nail inspo with a lotus flower and she executed it! I was very pleased with her work and she is very skilled at her craft. My pedicure was done by Lisa and she made me feel so relaxed! Liam and Lisa did a fantastic job on our pedicures -- they were thorough, relaxing, and exactly what we were hoping for. We both felt very comfortable and truly enjoyed that part of our visit. We were upsold upgrades to include manicures. My husband felt his manicure was worth it, but mine unfortunately didn't feel like what I expected for the price. I also asked for a French manicure with regular polish, and the results just weren't what I was hoping for. I wish I didn't waste the money on the manicure (see pics). The pedicure was amazing, but the manicure didn't turn out as clean or polished as it should have. Went to get my nails done two days before a big trip. Asked for gel x, nails looked good after and service was good, but the NEXT day one nail popped when I simply turned the light on in my bathroom and when I went out to do errands, I noticed one was completely gone. I have gotten gel x before, they last at least three weeks and when they do pop off, they hurt because they are sturdy. These were simply done wrong because I didn't even feel them come off. I asked if I could at least do a partial refund, but was denied. They said they would fix it for me, but I leave for a trip the next day and cannot stop to get it fixed as I live 30 minutes away and do not have two hours to set aside for this.
