Here's feedback on why I can't give them 5 stars: they do a wonderful job on nails and I like the way they remove gel without wrapping acetone and tin foil around your fingers, weakening your nails. Very friendly too! But the big complaints I have: first, they play the same music over and over, like the same instrumental song, every time I'm there. It's like torture after awhile. I can't imagine what it's like to work there and go out of your mind listening to the exact same song over and over. And they show this weird prank TV show the ENTIRE time on the TVs which is just ick....many of the pranks are mean and a little gory. Disturbing and I try to look at something else but it's hard when you're stuck facing the screens! Not a relaxing ambience for treating myself! They could just show a cooking show or something. Or nothing at all. When you get your nails done, it's also important to create a good ambience and experience. Nothing fancy, but more thoughtful on the details. If they took more care in playing different music and showing something more pleasant on the TVs they'd get 5 stars from me and I'd go more often! Kathy has done two dip manicures for me and both have been superb! She takes her time and really is meticulous with making everything perfect. She tested four different colors for me this last time to make sure the color I chose showed up the way I wanted. Also the salon is beautiful- no strong smells and comfy chairs! read more

Tried this place for the first time. I give 5 stars for how nice they are and the color selection. Peppermint pedicure was great and she did a nice job on my feet. But minus stars for the manicure. It was a guy who did it. Cuticles are not very clean. I also have ridges in my nails that other places even out but he didn't. Glad it's just regular color not gel do I can go get them redone. I'd try again only if the lady who did my feet dud my nails. Very different quality. read more

I went here yesterday, 5/25 to get a little pampering done before my big 30th on 5/27. This was my first time here and the reason I went was because I received a gift certificate from a family for teacher appreciation week. I have finally found my new go-to place after two years of searching since moving from the Bay Area. I had made an appointment for when I got off of work and it was easy to do. PT 1 - came in to get my acrylics taken off. Anyone who's gotten acrylics before knows that nail salons usually leave your nails broken afterwards & roughly remove the acryl. It's the worst part about getting fake nails. Not here! She spent so much time making sure my nails didn't look like crap after leaving and was really careful/gentle with them. I mean my nails looked pretty nice after! The kind of service you feel good about tipping for. My friend had told me this salon was open again (outdoors) and how great her experience was. After a miserable work week, I decided to call and see if they had any openings. I was able to make it in 30 minutes from fair oaks, get a full pedicure with time to spare before they closed at 7. The entire service was wonderful, as it has been a million years (or preCOVID) since I got a pedicure. I could have easily stayed in that chair forever with the amazing massage the owner gave, and will definetly be going back again, whether curbside or in the actual shop. It was well worth the drive, and I would highly recommend to anyone. Call ahead, just to be sure. There were only a few seats available out back where they are currently working from. read more

Had a pedicure here for the first time. Tracy was the one assigned to me. The massage was the big let down as she pressed really hard on the top of my feet and shin's instead of concentrating on the bottoms of my feet where that's usually the best part of the massage as well as a person's calves and she really missed on this. She also did not file the toenails straight and the polish job was about a 4. If you do this day after day you'd think you could at least file straight and clean up the polish on my skin. All people massage differently so that just wasn't for me. The place is clean and they use clean practices though. I was so looking forward to this and it was a disappointment. read more

EDIT : I ABSOLUTELY KNOW WHAT NAIL SALON I WENT TO . 45 was what i was charged , left a 5 dollar tip. I have the bank statement to prove it. I thought it was over priced as well . Maybe you should talk to your employees about overcharging customers ! Went for a basic french tip gel manicure on healthy , long , natural nails . Overall i was not impressed with the manicure . The manicure was very rushed and she did not take her time . The white tips were sloppy and uneven. The gel polish was unevenly applied and left ridges , most of the edges of my nail beds were missed entirely with the gel polish so it actually started to peel back on a few of the nails within a matter of days . Once the gel peeled off on its own , i can tell that the gel absolutely destroyed my natural nails . For what i paid (50) , I could buy my own kit of Amazon and do a better job .
