I came here this morning and there were only a few customers inside. They have a huge selection and area. And I can see that it's organized well. The selection was good. But I can see that some parts of the inventory were empty. They should fill it immediately so If some customers need those products they will be satisfied and fill their needs. I came here to buy mosquito repellent and cockroach sprayer to kill the insects in our storage room. We need it so bad so I came here immediately. Gladly they have it. I grab 5 bottles for cockroaches and mosquito spray. After I grabbed those I went to the counter and paid for them. The staff was kind and quick at his service. This is by far the best convenience store in Lakeview. Great products. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff. Great wine and beer selection with plenty high end munchies to boot. If they don't have it, tell them and they will get it. They also have lots of wine and beer tastings. Thanks to the team. I just wanted to update my review. I will just say this is not your normal corner store! It's way better!!! Nick and Love are two of the nicest employees I've ever dealt with. Not only do they carry great selections of wine beer etc but They will order anything you need. It's rare to have a family run business where all actually care. They also have tastings multiple times a week where you can try wine, cocktails in cans and more. A perfect stop before grabbing buses downtown or before heading home after work. The most important thing about this store is that it is very close to my apartment and open both early and late. (Indeed, it's a great boon to all of us who live in this row of high-rises and don't want to hike inland every time we need a bag of salad or a couple blocks of cheese.) The second most important thing about it is that it has a surprisingly utilitarian selection of groceries -- the produce section isn't going to make you swoon, but it has just enough in the way of tomatoes, greens, and a few more substantial vegetables to help you put together a tasty last-minute dinner; the same goes for the other basics too (though they usually aren't as urgent in my household). And of course they have ice cream and beer and whiskey and all the other things you'd hope from a mini-mart too. A real boon to my block. read more

During the corona outbreak they were selling a 4 pack of Scott's toilet paper for $30. Other than that their prices do run higher than places like Walgreens and such. So have a good selection of beer. read more

Belmont Harbor Market is very close to my residence and super convenient. The bus stop is right out front so it's in a great location if I need something on the run. They do have a decent stock of the staples and everything you need. Why the 2 stars you may ask? Well, as others have stated, completely overpriced. Everything in my opinion is overpriced. I went In the other day for olive oil, and the brand you can find at any grocery store for $5-6 is $10. I understand they are a stand-alone store, also they can price these items higher because of the pure convenience. So just beware when you enter the store that you will be paying higher than normal prices for everything. read more

I am so fortunate to live in the building where this excellent establishment resides. Not only do they have the grocery basics, they also have an insanely extensive wine, beer, and whiskey selection. They carry every basic product a drug store would have, so I never have to go too far for anythIng. Besides all of that, the staff is wonderful. They know me by name and are so friendly no matter what crazy hour I happen to arrive. They also don't mind when I bring my dog in (a rarity that most places don't allow), they know his name and are excited to hand him treats. This place is a treasure! read more

The store itself is fine, but the service was rude and uncaring. I changed buses this morning, and a sudden downpour made me seek shelter. I was also feeling light-headed, and was glad to see this store so I could buy something to eat. When I walked in, I found a sandwich and paid for it. I mentioned that I was not feeling well, and was there a chair I could sit on while I ate the sandwich. I got absolutely no reaction, so went to a corner and sat on the floor to eat. When I left, I calmly expressed my disappointment that they could not even find a folding chair, as I am 65 years old and it is not very convenient to have to sit on the floor and get up again. This market is very convenient because it's right below where I live, and I wish I could give it a higher rating. However the past two times I have been here, they have tried to overcharge me or charge me for items I didn't purchase... pretty sketchy if you ask me. Great location and they have good products but make are you calculate your total in your head before you go up to the register.. they don't enter your items in anywhere and tried to charge me $5-10 extra two times in a row. read more

Friendly guys and surprisingly good selection for a convenience store (even for a vegetarian -- great sandwiches, fresh produce, and frozen dinners, including Amy's brand and Indian meals). Very happy this is in the neighborhood. So convenient when getting off the bus or when you need to pick up something fast. Nice and friendly staff and great selection and variety of items. In a pinch the beer/wine prices are surprisingly reasonable. Amazed that their produce is so fresh and not too expensive. read more
