If I could give this place a zero I would!!! My jeep was in a hit and run. We chose this shop because it was listed with our insurance. No communication at all deadlines never met. I could go on but let these pictures speak for themselves. This was how they gave us our car back. I had to take it to another body shop pay out of pocket so they could confirm that the job wasn't done. That pink marker is literally everything the other shop I took it to found wrong. "When you have a trust worthy mechanic he is worth his weight in gold" is how the saying goes. This could not have been any more true for an awful experience facilitated by Belmont Heights Auto Body. My elderly father had an issue with his starter on a 2006 BMW 7-Series which has had for nearly an eternity. Fred and Gary were very welcoming, and as always they offered a FREE analysis of the issue. Well after my elderly father dropped off his vehicle to Belmont Height Auto Body, he received a whopping estimate of $1,700.00 for starter replacement. Obviously this was way too expensive and he decided to pick up the car and get a second opinion at another shop. THIS is where the issue started, Fred would not release the vehicle unless my father paid a WHOPPING $270.00 in diagnostic fees! This was not disclosed prior to dropping the vehicle off nor was it disclosed at the time of vehicle drop off. My elderly father was not ready to pay this as he was blind sided by the fee and he needed to come back with a form of payment. This resulted in the need to come back the next day as it was already near closing time. The next day this shop added another $100.00 for "storage" of the vehicle. This again was a blind sided fee, after a long painful conversations with FRED, he so generously agreed to lower the fees to exactly what was available in the wallet of $310.00. - PLEASE SEE ATTACHED RECEIPT! This is no way to take advantage of an elderly man. Absolutely disgusted with their criminal ways. FYI, the starter was replaced in a shop nearby for $500.00 read more

Just an update on my previous review. Finally after a little over 3 or 4 years I had a state farm adjuster come out to look at my hood as it was peeling like it had been left out in the hot dessert sun for years. The state farm adjuster stated that this was not how my hood was supposed to look and finally filed a complaint against this shop and I was able to get money to have my hood re-painted by a body shop I trust thoroughly now. The owner has stated that this shop didn't do the work I stated in my previous review but that is a flat out lie. I brought my car here after an accident and regretted it for 3 years afterwards. Will warn anyone I can about this state farm certified shop. read more

They inspected the buildup of rust on my car and concluded that it's permeated throughout the metal of the door. It took about a week to complete the metal work and the full body paint job. I really wish I had before pictures, they really made my car look sparkling new. I was so shocked at impeccable work they had done, so I'm referring my sister with her Nissan Maxima :) read more

I wish I could give negative stars. Dropped my car off on October 1st, got my car back Dec 4th. I tried to be understanding about covid situations and staffing changes. But every time I called, they never called me back or I was given different information and a new "done" date. Sometimes they wouldn't answer my calls nor call me back. I finally sent a very angry email about 50 days into my car hostage situation. The owner Gary called me and promised to reimburse me for the out of pocket rental that I incurred after my 30 day coverage elapsed and said he would rent me a car until mine was completed. When I finally got my car, there was no rental reimbursement check waiting like promised. Suddenly 4 weeks later I see my insurance is paying Belmont Heights an additional $700'ish towards rental coverage. After contacting my insurance and the rental company I found out that Belmont Heights never paid the second rental that they promised to pay for and in fact told Enterprise to come after me. So they basically committed insurance fraud by submitting a bill for reimbursement that they did not pay. Luckily my insurance worked for me, they cancelled the check to Belmont Heights and paid Enterprise directly and a small stipend to me. Belmont Heights are a shady, fraudulent, sham of a company who will lie to you and then continue to lie. NEVER TAKE YOUR CAR THERE. Edited to add: Belmont Heights finally paid Enterprise and are still getting additional insurance reimbursement that should be going to me as the BH owner promised. read more

This apparently was a really bad decision, because after about 3 months of telling me that the car will be ready next week and additional 2000$ in repairs/parts and about 5000$ in car rental I got my car back.. and let me tell you.. it felt good even though my sun roof did not work.. after repairing sun roof at the dealer, 2 moths later my power steering broke down.. good luck if you give this place your car to work on! read more

I was pretty shaken up by an over-zealous neighbor who fired off two bullets while chasing an intruder down the alley behind my house. Although he missed the intended target, he managed to send two bullets through my garage door, shattering its way into my rear windshield, and fracturing out the front. I had just had foot surgery and couldn't drive, but wanted my car repaired asap because I became irate every time I saw the unnecessary damage to my vehicle. I called Autohaus and explained my situation to Anthony, the manager, who was genuinely sympathetic. He asked where I lived, and when I told him I was only a few miles away, he volunteered to come to my house, pick up my car, and drive it back to Autohaus with the windshields in ruins. The fact is, the car would eventually end up at BELMONT HEIGHTS AUTO BODY, where the windshield repair would be done. Autohaus does mechanics while Belmont Heights does body work. Both shops are owned by Gary Kinsler, also a really decent guy. Fortunately, my zealous neighbor was insured, so their policy covered all of the costs. That's when I learned that BELMONT HEIGHTS is a State Farm recommended repair shop--even better! They handled everything for me! When I picked it up, my car looked better than before the incident because, not only had they replaced the windshields with no perceptible difference (the rear shield was tinted darker than the original, but the car is a 2009, so the shield design had probably changed in 12 years), but they gave me a wash and interior clean that was better than I ever received when I took my car to a dealer for repairs. NEVER have I had what I would describe as a pleasant experience with an auto repair shop...until now! I won't take my car anywhere else for service! Thank you, Anthony and Gary! read more

My whole hood was pretty well damaged as a truck backed in on top of my car. When Bill was done with my car (which was pretty quickly) it looked as good as new!
