I was able to call in the day before and book myself an appointment while other places weren't responsive at all. I originally went with a one hour massage and I found myself so relaxed that I asked for a thirty minute extension and they were able to accommodate me! I got to say my masseuse was pretty good! I asked for a deep tissue massage with a whole body treatment. I came out feeling recovered from general soreness I had accumulated from work and my gym routine. Hit and miss. This last time was a total miss. I want to say the masseuse was snoozing while massaging me, but how is that possible? At first, I heard her breathing like she was mildly snoring, and then her arms on my back slowed down in the same area for a noticeable amount of time. They use hot stones to rub you down during the massage and hot towels as well. The massage was good. !!!!!SCAM ALERT!!!! My girlfriend just received a 90 minute massage from Julia. When she called she was quoted $80. When she went to the counter to pay she was charged $95 claiming the masseuse performed a deep tissue massage. When the massage began my gf was asked what pressure she liked, she responded "firm". The massage itself my gf says was okay for the price, but definitely was not a deep tissue massage. My gf questioned the price and made it a point that the masseuse did not mention the price increasing by $15 or that she'd be receiving a deep tissue massage. The receptionist responded "yeah we have to keep telling her". Whatever does that mean? My girlfriend was also persuaded to pay cash, claiming they're running a special promotion that granted you five minutes for every time you pay cash and at the third time paying cash, you receive 15 minutes additional massage time. When she questioned the promotion, the front desk receptionist had no way of tracking cash customers. She quickly typed into the "add contact" of her iPhone, added my partner as a contact and in the 'company' tab added "5/10/25/22" . This is promotion tracking at a business? I think not. As the transaction was coming to an end my gf made a comment, "I don't have much left for a tip", as she left a $15 tip. The receptionist said "it's okay I didn't deduct the extra $15 from Julia so she gets more tip, thirty dollar it's ok." Wow! UNBELIEVABLE!! Super disappointed in the way they treat and rob people! Went to this place after the "wait" was for a while 24 hrs thinking it must be great, wait for it..... get a call later the day of the appointment that it was pushed back from 545 to 715pm the day of..... cool no problem. Booked was a 2 90 min deep tissue massage.... Walked in and saw that the LBPD was sponsor for 13 years straight and about 15 in total thinking ok great this place must be rocking. Nope lay down and as I'm there someone from the other side tells the lady not to rub my pain section paided for.... my back left laybrum. So I'm sitting there thinking I must be hearing thinga. Nope this lady replies back and doesn't touch my back area like she put her elbow once and that's it.... meanwhile I hear this male voice laughing like i paused for nothing.. Oh good Lord, Tina you have brought me back to life, girl. I haven't had a massage in about half a decade & thanks to Tina, I am totally coming back regularly. It's really tough finding a masseuse that 1. Knows what they're doing 2. Listens to your needs 3. Acts on those needs, accordingly & 4. Leaves you feeling better than when you came in. My body was in absolute pain when I came here on a whim. It got to the point where I couldn't even enjoy myself at Homegoods, one of my favorite places, & I couldn't even enjoy it because my body was in that much pain. So, I finally made the call to come in & get a massage & now I'm disappointed I waited so long! I requested Tina--I noticed lots of people mentioned her name on Yelp & she happened to have an opening. She walked me thru the process of the massage, where to put my things, etc. They have the room heavily curtained off so you can't see in or out to the other rooms & it's very dimly lit so no one's going to see your naughty bits lmao. The room was clean & so was the facility. I went to use the restroom & could see they were heavily washing new sheets for the tables--so that was a relief. Throughout my massage, Tina checked in with me to see how I was feeling & how the pressure felt. She briefly let me know about the knots she could feel & how I carried my stress & how it affected my body. It was a very eye opening experience. I learned a lot about my body & how it tries to heal itself when stressed. Once Tina finished my massage, I felt like a limp noodle. I melted right into the massage table I was so relaxed! I really liked that she didn't do a deep tissue massage either, I'm not a fan of being rolled out like a pretzel. I left their feeling like all the weight had been removed from my shoulders & ultimately like she healed my body. Tina gave me a complimentary water bottle & recommended I drink lots of fluids--since the massage impacts your lymphatic system. Best $40 (not including tip) I think I have ever spent in my life. Sandy my massage therapist was great, but this one star is for the front desk lady. My massage was $50 and I tipped 20% and the lady asked me to tip more. I believe in tipping 20% or more, but when a business asks customers to tip more than what they tipped is HIGHLY unprofessional. I used to be a bartender and server & dude I would never tell customers to tip me more or I would never ask someone who didn't tip that they forgot to tip. Like it is what it is. I purchased a gift certificate for my sister for her birthday. They gave her a big hassle when she tried to schedule her appointment even though she had a copy of the receipt. When she arrived, they put her in a room and told her she could use the bathroom. When she came back from the bathroom, they had put someone else in her room and were massaging that person. My sister had to move her things and go to a different room. They had already started the time for her massage even though no massage had begun and she arrived a little early. They gave her no instructions regarding what to do in her new room. My sister experienced passive aggressive behavior during the entire experience. Writing this review on behalf of my mother -- she told me she was having shoulder pain one afternoon, so I called around to a few places and Belmont Shore Spa said they could take her that same afternoon and had a 55 min massage spot open for only $39. It was a no brainer! When I picked her up from the spa, she said her shoulders and back felt great, they had given her a bottle of water to stay hydrated, and she even said that if she lived in the area she would go weekly since it was so reasonably priced. I booked twice recently and both times I was not assigned the masseuse I requested... the second time I could feel the masseuse breathing on my forehead- so I opened my eyes and saw her mask down. She quickly lifted her mask back up afterwards. I am vaccinated -- and have waited months to come back. I believe it was someone named Vicky? It also seems like all of their experienced technicians have left, so this person was literally just moisturizing me and breathing on me for an hour..... I expect staff members who work closely to clients (and their bodies), to take extra precautions regardless of how inconvenient it is. This is why I typically tip extra during the pandemic when I see them going out of their way for good service. I will no longer be coming back as a long time customer. I understand the pandemic is hard and difficult for this sector especially but please understand safety precautions are needed for clients to feel safe enough to come back. read more

They have complimentary water bottles in a minj fridge. The rooms are separated by curtains and there is very relaxing music playing. They close your curtains so you can undress comfortably and get into the bed and under the blankets. You cannot hear any outside noise, which is extra relaxing, knowing how loud and busy 2nd street is. I always ask for Tatianna Esguerra. She is an absolute dream! I always go into Lala land when she gives me my massages. She asks which part she should focus on and the pressure, and for the pressure she asks throughout the massage -- not just at the beginning! Honestly the massage was amazing. I got a 90 min deep tissue massage and it was life changing. How ever.. I felt violated during the entire massage. My masseuse pulled the blanket all the way down past my buttocks and just left my booty out the entire time. I was wearing underwear but she pulled those all the way down as well. Yikes. Then when it was time to roll over my top side was not covered She kept trying to expose my breast but I pulled the sheet up. When my massage was over and I was going to sit up I saw her phone facing the table and I saw my face in the screen. I asked her if she was recording the massage and she said no.. it's for the music. This is my "go to" place for a massage and Teddy is my guy. When I call for an appointment with Teddy, the nice lady always tries hard to get me in. I sit at a computer all day, and I also tend to get really tight legs and back from running, and Teddy always takes good care of me. The rooms are separated by curtains, but its still pretty quiet, although it never fails that some douche customer (both male & female) leaves their phone on. I mean, seriously??? The staff is friendly and polite, the rooms are clean and comfortable. They recently added a glass door to where you enter the massage area, which really helps cut down the street noise. I had Tom and would give him five stars easily. He's nice, skilled, and really loosened up tense knots in my neck and shoulders from travel and too much sitting. I would return just for his service. The one star would be for the very rude owner who ruined the experience for me. She was yelling, literally, through the curtain at Tom while he was working on me. Tom was responding and I found myself very uncomfortable listening to the back and forth. When I expressed my discomfort, he apologized but she kept on yelling. I would have complained but didn't want to complicate things for Tom so I am leaving this review instead. A line of beds are placed next to each other with curtains as barriers. It's pretty quiet so no walls is okay. Honestly, there was a slight language barrier, and hey I'm Asian and these are my peeps. I was escorted to my bed with no explanation if I need to take my clothes off or what to do, and I sat for some time before someone finally gave me directions. Additionally, I told my lady masseuse that I really didn't want a full body massage, just to focus on my problem area. It took a few times of me explaining it, but when she got it, she was on fire, worked her magic, and used hot stones. For $35 and an hour, and great customer service, it was so worth it. read more
