Very nice place to relax and drink coffee. They have snacks sandwiches too. Nice place, airy and nicely decorated, variety of seating, group areas, comfy seats and lounge area. Great coffee and expresses, made just the way you want. They had our favorite add-in syrup: Almond- Thanks! Sandwiches have great and interesting combinations. Lovely place for a rest from driving.

    Belnano coffee; delicious.

We had never been to this new coffee shop before and had heard a lot of good things about their coffee. Absolutely delicious and the service was the best. The Ambiance was very quiet and relaxing. Nice soft music playing unlike some of the other coffee houses that seem to play lots of rock. This was very nice. Will definitely return.

We ordered 4 drinks, a blueberry scone, and a fiesta bagel. Everything was great. My blended Carmel frappe with chocolate drizzle was delicious. The scone was soft and taste great. Everyone else enjoyed their drinks as well. The service was great and we got our drinks and food quickly. It's a great space with plenty of parking. The coffee might have been a little more than other places but was well worth it. If you haven't tried this place you have to check it out for yourself.

This isn't my first time coming here and certainly won't be my last. I love the atmosphere of this small town coffee shop! The girl working this morning around 8am was sweetest woman ever and made my coffee ON POINT!! There coffee is sooooooo good and the food is even better! Trust me, do not waste your time in the Starbucks line, just come here, I promise you won't regret it

Depending on when you go it can get really busy. When we went on a Saturday and there was a long line of drinks to be made. He let us know and gave us a heads up it would be about 20/25 minutes. He even gave us a buzzer so we could walk around. The surf shop is fun to look around and the wait time ended up going by quick. When we went on a Tuesday around 11 there was no one in line. I got the Tiramisu Iced Latte and the Lemon Wafer. The Tiramisu was delicious and so pretty. I was tempted to order it again but decided to go with the Lemon Wafer since it was the only other iced drink on the secret menu. It was amazing I wouldn't think that the flavors would work but wow! We also ordered a drip coffee, which I'm not a black coffee person but it was great and they roast their own coffee. And we also got the Salted Caramel Latte which was delicious and had a crème brûlée top. If you're looking for a coffee shop to sit down and chat this isn't the spot but being a block away from the beach it's much better to grab a drink here and walk to the beach and enjoy the scenery. They also have cute merch as well. Definitely worth the try. He is also super friendly and helpful if you're trying to pick a drink for yourself or a friend.

As someone visiting from out of town, I was hoping for a warm, welcoming coffee shop experience. The café is definitely cute and has a great atmosphere, but the service felt a bit rushed. It also wasn't busy--there were only a few customers inside, and I was the only person ordering coffee at the time. Even so, I wasn't asked if my order was for here or to go, and I also wasn't asked if I'd like my coffee cake warmed. Everything was automatically served in a to-go cup with a cold slice of coffee cake. After sitting outside, I noticed other customers enjoying their drinks in ceramic mugs, which would have made the experience feel much more like the cozy coffee shop I was hoping for. It's a small detail, but those little touches can make a big difference, especially for first-time visitors. The quality of the coffee is worth stopping in for, but a little more attentiveness and hospitality would make the experience even better.

Luckily, this place absolutely nailed it. Their mocha is hands down one of the best I've had. In fact, I've been working in the area for the last four days, and I've stopped in for a mocha three of those four mornings. That's how good it is. The staff deserves just as much praise as the coffee. Every barista I've interacted with has been friendly, welcoming, and consistently on point. They genuinely make you feel appreciated and are a huge asset to this coffee shop. If you're anywhere nearby and love a great mocha, do yourself a favor and stop by H. Cheval Coffee. You won't be disappointed.

In a world where restaurants and coffee shops can be wildly inconsistent, this place just keeps showing up and doing what it does best. My go-to is always the Baja Mocha. At this point, it's less of a coffee order and more of a long-term relationship. It's rich, smooth, perfectly balanced, and just spicy enough to keep things interesting. Every time I tell myself I should try something different, the Baja Mocha gives me that "Don't be ridiculous" look, and I happily order it again. A visit also isn't complete without grabbing a pound of whole beans to take home. That way, I can continue pretending my kitchen is a quaint little coffee shop instead of just... my kitchen. The café itself has a ton of character. It's on the cozy side, which means it can fill up quickly, especially during busy times. If you're looking for acres of seating and total silence, this probably isn't your spot. But if you're looking for exceptional coffee, a welcoming atmosphere, and a place that feels like a true local favorite, you'll understand why people keep coming back. The staff is always entertaining in the best possible way. They're friendly, have personality, and somehow manage to keep things moving even when the place is buzzing. It's the kind of coffee shop where the people behind the counter seem like they're genuinely enjoying themselves, and that energy rubs off on everyone else. If you're passing through Cambria or lucky enough to live nearby, do yourself a favor and stop in. Just don't blame me when the Baja Mocha becomes your default order too. I tried branching out once... the Baja Mocha and I worked through it.

The service was not very efficient with the crowd. The barista asked many questions (decaf or regular, oat milk, whole milk, 2%, almond milk, which coffee bean, etc.), which made the line move very slowly. She also had to stop taking orders halfway to make drinks, making the long line to get even longer. There wasn't enough seating, so we decided to take our food to go. They can't help warm up our pastries and directed us to use the microwave and toaster oven ourselves. For the price of the pastries I paid, I expected better service rather than DIY. When the coffee was ready, they did call names but the place was so crowded, we all had to wait outside of the cafe. So many of customers had to come in and out several times to check on their orders. The coffee was also extremely hot and not drinkable right away. Overall slow service, crowded environment, messy flow. I wouldn't come back.
