I have yet to see this place open, every time I call they are either not open, or they don't have ground sausage for the sub that I want.

This is dumpy small deli that isn't much to look at but I give 5 star reviews when you make a product that is the best I have ever had and this is the Italian Sub. I'm not sure what combination of meats is in this sandwich but that mixed with an addictive dressing, cold crisp lettuce tomato and onion, and the roll is absolutely perfect. When you try this Italian you will NOT be disappointed. I actually went back two hours later and bought another one to eat later for dinner. I can't say enough about this, absolutely delicious! Great little deli with freshly made sandwiches. A few tables to be able to eat in, good drink selection, and some chips. Someone here wrote that the bread was made in-house? It was a little too dry/ crunchy for my taste, I prefer more pillowy, but it was still great. I asked for super thin turkey (the way LI delis make their sandwiches) and he quickly obliged. An Italian sub is one of my favorites so I am very picky on my quest to find good ones. This one was close but there was something about the bread that was off. It had a weird slight staleness to it. The meats were good a little bit light on the amount of meat and fillings. I dont really like a overstuffed sub but this was light. Oooo, I like this place. Firstly, everything is scratch made. Meatballs, sausage, soups, lasagna, etc (you had me at hello!). They have fresh baked bread every morning that they use for their sandwiches. They do not make their own bread, but it is very good and delivered daily. Good enough. I had the combo meatball and sausage sandwich. My husband had an Italian grinder. Both sandwiches were filling, tasty, REASONABLY PRICED. Neither of them sat in our stomachs like a gut bomb where you have to take a sleep apnea nap after lunch with stains from the red sauce dripping down the front of your shirt. They have chips and snacks (not the crappy kind either) to choose from and they do catering. They also have an impressive array of beverages to choose from in coolers while you are waiting for your grub. And they are reasonably priced on the drinks too. The Polar and Nantucket Nectar we had were only $1.54 a piece. That is more than fair. My God, the nerve of some deli owners charging over $3 a bottle for Panther Piss....makes me want to pop them in the chops! The owner here is a very congenial fellow. He will make your sandwich as quirky or as normal as you want it. Now, I'm not as bad as Meg Ryan in When Harry Met Sally. I mean, she was a real pain in the ass with all her requests and changes. But I like certain things a certain way, and I ask if it could be done beforehand. Some people say they will add something, or leave something off per your request, but then your food arrives and it pisses you off. Not this guy, he wants his customers happy. It's a guy's place in the sense that they must do a big lunch business with local industry, etc. There are heavy sports references everywhere, there are only a couple small tables, and it is a laid back atmosphere. Just don't insult Big Papi or Tom Brady, or you might get a cross-eyed look from a customer or possibly an argument. On second thought, you'll get that argument. Being a Bears fan, I was lying low and just listening, for once. But the clientele is the salt of the earth kind of people, and you are coming in there to get a good lunch, not a foot massage for Christ's sakes. read more

Terrific subs on the perfect fresh bread. The Meatballs were also TDF. This place is several blocks away from the Ecotarium in Worcester. We picked up lunch here and ate it in the dining room at the Ecotarium-- it sure beat the vending machines, and my kid devoured the yummy food. read more

The best Italian sub I had so far in Worcester. I was presently greeted when I walked in. The owner will make you the best sandwich to order. My Italian grinder had all the meats that came with it. It is in the pic I have uploaded. In addition, I had him add pickles, banana peppers and removed the onions. The dressing had the onions flavour to it and saved my breath. I was told by the owner that all his bread was brought in fresh from a bakery. In addition, any leftover fresh bread are used to make his meatball. If they is true I will definitely go back and try that the next time I show up. When I took my first bite, everything he said was true. It was a good meat to bun ratio. The flavours were very well balanced. I left feeling very satisfied. All the workers said bye. Very friendly and professional establishment. I never thought Italian subs would be worth writing about. But this is, especially considering I'm not a huge fan of Italian subs. The bread was so fresh and just a little chewy on the inside and just a bit crunchy on the outside. They put in the perfect amount of quality meat in the sub, with no one overpowering flavor and not overly drenched with sauces. Amazing. I don't know how else to put it. Go try it, I guess? Average deli, nothing special. There are much better places to get a sandwich. Got the Italian sub and wasn't impresssed. There was nothing wrong with it per-say, but it was made with a balasmic vinegar which isn't typical in my experience, the taste just overpowered everything else. read more

Good sandwiches here. The bread is extremely crusty which I love, and you get a good amount of fresh meats and vegetables. The sandwiches are usually between 5 and 6 bucks. I've only ever had the cold sandwiches, but they make their own sausages and meatballs, and the place always smells terrific because of it. read more
