Surprisingly, I have never been to a Ben & Jerry's ice cream shop before. I usually just buy the pint ice creams that are sold at the grocery store. And I've definitely seen their shops around and like at the mall but never actually bought a cone/cup from the store. Came here as they were hosting free cone day and got a chance to try their honey graham latte. My husband got had baked and my little got their milk and cookies. All were great. Love the little shop and colorful decor and murals. Service was really great. For it being a special occasion with long lines, the staff was extremely efficient in serving up ice cream to the customers in such an organized and quick/timely manner. The location is perfect as it so close to so many restaurants. Perfect to have dinner and then stop by here for a quick dessert. Parking here is actually super easy. There are street parking but they have several parking lots (free) and even a near by parking structure (free). read more

My husband and I love getting a sweet treat after a fulfilling dinner, especially if we still have enough room afterwards. We've been knowing that Ben and Jerry's opened a location in Folsom and finally got to check it out since we had dinner at a restaurant down the street. We came in and there was no line so we were able to order right away. The interior of this location was definitely bigger and more well-decorated in a fun way than the Napa location. The flavors were all labeled with images on the wall which made it easy to pick and choose what flavor to get. My husband got a Berry Berry Sorbet Shake and I saw they had a Strawberry Matcha Milkshake but I opted for Vanilla instead of Strawberry. My usual go-to flavor at Ben and Jerry's is their famous Half Baked ice cream flavor so I wanted to get something different this time. I'm such a matcha lover girl so I had to give their matcha flavored shake a try. I was quite impressed with how their vanilla ice cream and matcha flavored shake mixed well in a shake because I was able to taste how creamy and milky the vanilla was as well as also have a good taste of the matcha which really balanced the overall shake really well. Overall, I can never say no to a sweet treat after a good dinner and basically have a second stomach for dessert, especially Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream! I'm so glad they opened a storefront in Folsom and will definitely be coming again sometime to satisfy my sweet tooth cravings whenever I can! read more

Ben and Jerry's is such a charming ice cream shop and the perfect addition to the Folsom - Historic District! I recently stopped by for a sweet treat, and I was really impressed. Inside has a very warm and welcoming ambiance and we were greeted as soon as we walked in. I loved the Folsom-themed mural with cows paddle boarding, and the space itself is very fun, colorful, and vibrant. The "Scoop Shop" has its own designated flavors; however, there are more options available as pints in their fridge. The flavors are displayed on the wall across from the counter rather than behind it, which makes it a little awkward trying to read the menu while ordering. A lot of flavors are heavy on the chocolate, but I was in the mood for something different. I sampled the Salted Caramel Blondie, but decided to go with a small scoop of the Cherry Garcia. A small comes with two scoops but I asked for only one. The Cherry Garcia was exactly what I was looking for - fruit forward with a little bit of chocolate to complement it. The space is super cute, and the staff was very friendly. I got a small nondairy Mochaccino Chip (Chocolate Coffee Non-Dairy Frozen Dessert with Caramel Swirls & Fudge). So good! So excited to have a Ben and Jerry's. It's a quiet little ice cream shop. They have a visual wall of all flavors and you can taste everything they have. My daughter got a chocolate cake with sprinkles and I got marshmallow sky on a waffle cone. Everything was delicious. Definitely will be back. Service was quick and easy. read more

What a great place. The staff greeted us the minute we walked in. Showed us the flavor wall and immediately offered samples. It's a great little shop with plenty of room to sit and eat. So glad to have only two ice cream shops on Sutter street ... Snooks (selling Gunther's Ice Cream) and Ben and Jerry's offering their world renowned flavors. While it may seem competitive, to me it appears to be more complimentary. Snooks makes great treats (chocolate, fudge, caramels, etc) and Ben and Jerry's makes amazing and innovative Ice Cream. One makes treats, the other makes ice cream. So glad to have the world's two best sweet shops on Sutter Street, both shops being family owned and locally operated by small businesses owners. read more

What a great place! I love the bright and fresh look! It's super fun and doesn't feel as "dark" as some other spots in the area. Is hitting a business with a one star far when they've only been open a week or so fair? I think so.. here's why: First let me say, Folsom seems to attract ice cream shops, we got lots. So if you're going to open another I think you need to be bringing your A game. It seems incredibly myopic to think you can compete with anything less. We went here a few days ago and I ordered a milkshake, extra thick. It came out thin and milky. I was disappointed and downcast but I figured they're just getting the hang of things so whatever. Now, fast forward to today and more of my friends are excited for "Ben & Jerry's!" A premier ice cream offering. Well, let's put my previous calamity behind me and try again. So I order the same, large milkshake, extra thick. I paid and received my shake. Only hardship followed. The shake was once again soupy and disappointing. Now, I spent many of my high school years scooping ice cream and making milkshakes. The elusive "extra thick" isn't really hard but it is annoying to make. The key is less milk and babysitting while the shake is on the mixer. Hmm, what to do? Swallow my sadness or Karen? Okay, I'll Karen but wouldn't you want the feedback if you wanted to be better? If you wanted to compete in the merciless ice cream market, known only as "Folsom"? I brought the shake back and said it was thin and nothing near extra thick. They asked what I wanted and I said I wanted it re-made extra thick. The manager? I don't know someone of authority came over and told me I needed to pay more for extra thick. What? If that's true why wasn't I charged for it when I asked for it the first time? What X2, why am I being asked to pay more after you screwed the pooch? Shouldn't you be apologizing and trying to fix it? Naw ask for an additional $1. But, bring it. I know guac is extra. I paid the requested addition and awaited my new shake. At this point, as long as the shake I was about to be handed was a grand slam any hopelessness within my soul was going to be forgiven. No, never-mind. One star. The shake was thin and had a few weird hunks of ice cream now added. I don't understand; you are supposed to be top shelf ice cream. Premium offering. The best of the best. Ice cream caviar. I think you better make some big changes if you want to be in the pool during adult swim. Sorry. read more

First off I want to say that the customer service here is so amazing! The employees are so nice and so funny, and I want to give a special shout out to employee Lucas Martinez for having such a fun and kind personality! He works great with customers and he's such an amazing person to talk to! Was not impressed. $16.50 for 2 smalls and the ice cream was hard and broke apart like the freezer was up too high. It was chalky and not creamy. Didn't even finish it. Also served with a wooden spoon that is hard to use and flat. Handles is so much better! read more

We were so excited to see a Ben & Jerry's open in Folsom - my family and I are huge fans! We stopped in recently after a long, hot day at a lacrosse tournament and were not disappointed. The shop has a charming, local vibe that really fits the Folsom community. The service was excellent - they were friendly, fast, and welcoming. We loved the wide variety of flavors, especially some of the exclusive ones you can only get in-store. My kids couldn't get enough of the UltraViolet flavor! Checked out the new Ben and Jerry's in Folsom today. It was super good and the people were really nice. We'll certainly be coming back!
