Honestly the ice cream is delicious however both times I've ordered from this location and bought cones I have not received the cones. After calling to get a refund for not receiving my product I was told it's because they haven't made any, so they just didn't include them in the order or let me know that it wasn't included or give me a back-up option? I placed an online order for myself and my kids and when I went to pick it up, I waited as a family ahead of me was ordering ice cream. I could tell that the guy was wanting to help me and there was another girl in the back just walking around and picking stuff up so he motion for her to come assist. She eventually came over and I told her that I had placed an online order. She thought I was picking up from DoorDash or something cause she said where's the order pick up, cause I don't see anything for DoorDash. I can mention that it was my own order and then she wanted proof. I said I don't know what you want me to bring up the email or my app. I felt that she didn't trust that I was picking up my own order which was weird. Eventually I showed her both my email and my app confirmation and she finally went and got my order for me. We are new to the area and we really love cold stone makes me sad that this was the service that I received. We have been recommended other ice cream parlors in the area, which we will check out. I would love to try this again and I'm hoping that this isn't custom to question your customers and require multiple sources of proof of their orders and payments. The guy helping was nice but they are veryyy skimpy on the add ins. My husband and I have gone here multiple times and each time we barely get any of the add ins. One time we got the biggest cup size and the worker gave half of a small brownie and gave my husband half an Oreo. It seems like a rip off. We decided to see if it was just this location or if all cold stones are like that so we went to the el dorado hills store and we got double if not triple the amount of add ins that we get at this location (aka a normal amount). I believe her name was Anikka (I only caught a glimpse of her name tag), but she had a line to the door, a mobile order come in and someone waiting for a pick up order and she kept her cool. I've been in that situation as a service worker and it's not fun. So props to her. I'm baffled that there's only one worker closing. If she stays busy like that until closing time she will have no time to do any pre-close which will make her close take longer and then she'll be leaving very late and by herself. I came in to pick up my daughters ice cream cup cakes I had ordered online. I was in line while one person was helping the family in front of me. A couple of high school girls came in behind me. A few minutes later another worker, obviously friends with the girls behind me, comes in and starts helping the girls behind me completely ignoring me. So there I was alone in the middle not being helped even though it was a quick transaction. I ended up getting a kids size ice cream in addition to the cupcakes I ordered and honestly it should have been free given the rudeness and lack of service. I had to write a review. I just left cold stone and the two girls working there right now we're so sweet, accommodating and energetic. They greeted everyone who came in, they didn't get bother when I asked for an extra topic (she said "yeah sure!", they thanked me gave me napkins and quickly got back to it since there was a long line and multiple online orders. I am a huge cold stone fan and always pack on the toppings which comes out to almost $15. The girls that I've seen work there in the past were cold and almost bothered by the amount of toppings I'd ask for. Horrible customer service! This was my first time visiting cold stone ice cream. Friends told me it's the best ice cream ever. We came in the evening around 9pm there was a few people inside, but enough space for social distancing. I wasn't wearing a mask. If their employees didn't know, I will explain. Some people cannot wear masks due to asthma or other reasons. Other customers didn't wear masks either. They didn't have any regulations about masks on their doors either, like Costso does. A couple came in with masks, when it was my turn to make an order. Their employee (blond girl) gave me a dirty look, completely ignored me, and started taking order from the couple. I felt so disrespected and discriminated against. I want to remind that it was my first time trying them out and horrible experience for the first time. Another employee, guy, noticed and took my order, explained things to me and even gave me a little more ice cream. She deserves to be fired, very rude to customers, just because I didn't wear a mask. If you're into disappointment, then this is the place for you. If you're into ice cream, however, I highly recommend you go somewhere else. The website advertised "free delivery," which, as it turns out, was just a lie to draw you in. After you take the time to input your order, the "free delivery" includes a $3.50 "delivery service fee." I ask you: how can delivery be both "free" and cost $3.50? It can't. This is just false advertising. Regardless, I had already hyped the family up about ice cream, so I just decided to go through with the order anyway. Now, though, I wish I hadn't. It said it would be delivered by 8:40. At 9:00, it said my order had been picked up and was "out for delivery" (20 minutes late). It then said my ice cream was "less than 1 minute away." 15 minutes later, it said there was a problem with my order and I would have to call the store. I called the store. They said they already gave the order to DoorDash, so my issue was with DoorDash and not with them. I explained to them that even if I called DoorDash, they wouldn't know what to tell me because I was not a DoorDash customer; I ordered through the coldstone website. She put me on hold. She came back and said she could not just remake the order and put it out for delivery because I would just be charged again. She then asked if I could come pick it up. I told her that would defeat the purpose and that I had also already paid the "delivery service fee." In the end, I asked for a refund and got it and then had to tell the starving family that they weren't getting any ice cream. There was no attempt to make it right. Very disappointed with the custome Birthday Cake I ordered. The ice cream was supposed to be coffee ice cream with heath bar, fudge and carmel mixed in, and a fudge ganache frosting. The bottom layer did have that ice cream, but the top layer was all a white kind of marshmellow creme frosting covered over by fudge ganache frosting. Definately not what I ordered. Stopped here to grab a cup of ice cream for national ice cream day! It was my first time I've ever been to this location but I'm a huge fan of the Cold Stone chain. When I got there, there was only one other person in front of me who was already in the process of ordering. And, then there a few other people who were already sitting and eating. I usually get something customized but for some reason I didn't feel like making any tough decisions so I decided to go with something that was already listed on their menu. After a quick scan, I was ready to order. I ended up getting a mint mint chocolate chocolate chip; which is what I usually get if I get something off the menu. The employee who helped me was super friendly and was also quite fast. I actually ordered a "Like it" (the smallest cup) but I think she over shot it and ended up giving me a "Love it" (medium cup). However, she only charged me for a "Like it". Which I appreciate. Anyways, I decided to sit inside and enjoy my ice cream. And, after one bite, I knew I made the right decision. It was everything I ever wanted at that time. The location itself is clean and is nestled in a huge shopping area that is shared by Old Navy, Michaels, etc. There is plenty of parking to go around so you don't to fight people for a spot. Overall, it was a great first experience at this location. Friendly stuff, clean restaurants, in a convenient location, delicious ice cream -- what more can you ask for? We both really like the mango flavor. It's fresh tasting and not overly sweet. It's in a good location with lots of shopping around. Hot day? Tired of shopping? End of the night? Cold Stone is usually known for their generous scoops and mix-ins. This location barely fills the cup or carton size. Several times we've gotten cartons to go. However, each time we've had to ask the scooper to fill the carton. Not a hard concept. Even upon asking to fill the carton it is still not full. Very exasperating. Would you be happy to buy ice cream in a store and only have the carton partially full? There are no short cuts in hand packed ice cream. If you are trying to cut corners maybe you shouldn't own this type of business. The staff is friendly but seemed uneasy when we asked to fill the tub.
