I simply did not feel welcomed, and the entire visit felt rushed from beginning to end. I was charged two separate fees during my initial visit because I had an exam for both contacts and glasses, even though I believed these services were covered by my insurance. When I later called to make a simple adjustment/addition to my prescription, I was told I needed to come back for another eye exam--and another fee--even though I had been seen less than four months ago. To make matters worse, the representative I spoke with over the phone quoted me the wrong cost for the exam, which added even more frustration and confusion to an already disappointing experience. I've already called to express my concerns and file a complaint, but nothing was done to resolve the issue. Now I'm being charged again for an eye exam within four months of my previous appointment. Overall, I'm extremely disappointed with the customer service, communication, pricing information, and way this entire situation has been handled. I expected much better from an eye care provider and will not be returning.

My daughter (6) was having trouble reading the board at school even while wearing her glasses so I decided to bring her here despite two other optometrists insisting that she didn't inherit the BVD. Dr Conte was able to diagnose her with BVD and write her a prescription to help, with the possibility of vision therapy in the future. She has ADHD that we are struggling to treat and she was very hyperactive in his office. Not only was he calm and patient with her but he told us that there's a link between BVD and ADHD and gave us a copy of a book that he wrote about it. So far it is a good read, and it's short and easily understood. Both Doctors are great and we've had good experiences with the rest of the staff as well. They do thorough testing for me for other specialists I see that need to know how my retinas and optic nerves are looking to know the progression of other chronic disorders.
