After picking up the vehicle and paying under $4000 and the warranty company also paid their portion under $900. The truck drove worse and continued to leak. My husband contacted Troy and we were to bring the truck back and he would have it repaired. I have several emails with conversations to support this issue. The warranty company contacted Troy and requested more information and photos, a week later he provided it to them. After receiving the information from Troy, photos etc, the warranty company decided to send out their own inspectors to check this vehicle and found huge inconsistencies. I will add that the timeline from Troy was off by a week. I have the proof for that as well. I picked up the truck. It did not drive well at all. I'm lucky I got it home which I live very close. I sent several emails requesting a refund as well as my meeting with Troy so that I could get it repaired elsewhere. I never received a response until a phone call from the general manager Austin. He was extremely angry and the conversation didn't go well I felt very intimidated. I attempted to get help through other resources and had other mechanics and lawyers view the statements and they did find that the statements were ridiculous for labor, etc. I finally had enough and called Austin and told him I don't want to fight anymore and if you feel that this company did the right thing then they live with that, no legal action as I wanted to which would allow them to speak with Tom Martino but they declined, they had the opportunity to share their side. I most recently received a voicemail from Austin and returned his call, he told me they would be happy to see me in small claims court, granted this is after I told him I'm finished fighting with him. I emailed and requested their attorneys information and have not received it as of today. He had the nerve to ask if I had the truck repaired, I found that very sarcastic. It doesn't matter that my husband is in the Middle East deployed through next year or that there is a government shut down or that I'm not a mechanic. I was trying to get them to do the right thing and they did not. I am not looking for pity. I am looking for justice and I did not get it. I do not recommend Lake Arbor Automotive to anyone. I'm sure people may have had better experiences with this company however I did not. Be cautious with this company.

These guys are great! Been bringing my truck here for years. They do good work at honest price.read more

An employee drove my husband home and said that the car would be worked on that night and ready in the morning. He said that he would pick up my husband on Sat. morning to get him back to the shop to pick up the car. No one showed up and no one called. It was a long weekend and despite leaving messages, we didn't hear back from them until Tuesday! We were told that the owner, Russ, told the employee not to pick us up and didn't bother calling us to let us know. We were also told that Russ doesn't care about the business anymore and doesn't care about bad reviews. So here you go, Russ. Hope you lose your business.

**JEEP OWNERS BEWARE -- EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE**…read more I don't take writing one-star reviews lightly, but my experience with this shop leaves me no choice. I brought in my Jeep Cherokee after noticing issues, and chose this location based on convenience and what appeared to be decent reviews. At the initial visit, I was told the problem was a faulty oil cooler along with some other parts. I paid approximately $1,700 total for the replacement job and was assured the issue was resolved. However, after driving the vehicle only three times in the following weeks, the same issue returned. Since I had already spent a significant amount of money, I had to wait a bit before bringing the vehicle back in. When I did, I was again told the issue was with the oil cooler -- the exact same diagnosis -- and was charged a second time for the same repair. According to the shop's own warranty policy, this second repair should have been covered. Unfortunately, I only realized this upon reviewing my receipts after the fact. It's also worth noting that I was sold on an aluminum oil cooler during the first repair, with the promise that it would be more reliable. Less than a month later, I was told I needed another replacement. At this point, I have spent nearly $4,000, and my Jeep is still experiencing the same issue I originally brought it in for. The most frustrating part is that I will now need to return a fourth time for a problem that should have been properly diagnosed and repaired during the first visit. I strongly urge other Jeep owners -- and all customers -- to take their vehicles elsewhere. This experience has been a waste of time, money, and trust.
