Typically OK With distancing not so much this Morning. Sat a table of 5 right next To our table of 5 no more than 2 ft away. Not cool! Food ok, french toast lacking flavor. Steak and eggs, not impressed. Country Skillet is OK. Homemade bread is very good UPDATE: Once again, this past Sunday, no distancing! Sat a group of people right next to my table no more than 12" away from me. I complained, boxed my breakfast, which was delivered less than 5 minutes earlier, and left. Don't think we will give them a 3rd chance to do this right. Probably should have left the food and not paid the bill. read more

Today was our second breakfast outing at Benedict's. The food was well prepared and delicious but the service was as horrible as the first visit. Our waitress brought nice hot coffee and took our orders. A server brought our order after a normal wait; we were down to half cups of coffee. The waitress stopped long enough to say, "let me get you more coffee", before disappearing. I ordered French toast, but the server didn't bring syrup with the food. It's ok, I think to myself, I'm sure the waitress will have it when she comes back with the coffee. Sadly, she never returned! After we finished eating she stopped at the table behind us and I thought, oh finally! But, no, she whizzed right passed our table! I called out for our bill which she plopped on the table in passing. This was the first time in my adult life I didn't leave at least a 20% tip. To our waitress...you need to serve all customers well or get help. To the owners....hire more wait staff!! The ladies busting their butts for you deserve at least a chance at serving your customers properly. This is on you to know your peak hours and staff accordingly! I was a regular up until last year, for the 2nd time the food was mediocre. Decided not to go back, until today. My family was meeting there so I put my opinion aside and joined them. Worst eggs benedict I've ever had, english muffin was so thick it was like a dry untoasted english muffin cake, very little hollandaise sauce and the waitress had the cook replace the usual canadian bacon with 2 slices of regular bacon. clearly she didn't understand what we were asking. I literally had a small pouched egg, 2 slices of soggy bacon for the price of an eggs benedict. I couldn't eat the huge dry untoasted english muffin. They then charged us extra for the replacement bacon. Seriously? Never again! read more

There is adequate parking in the lot to find a space even on a busy weekend morning. A bit of the parking lot gets a little uneven but it's manageable. We went in assuming there would be a wait based on the amount of cars in the lot but we're able to grab 2 seats at the breakfast bar. They specialize in quichés, and the kind changes regularly. I tried a ham and cheese and it was delicious! They also have homemade break of varying flavors, I believe the one we tried was blueberry lemon, also delicious! The service is quick. The staff look a little stressed when they are full but the turnover time for food was fast and we were in and out and on our way. The home-fries were a little raw for my liking so I'll try to remember to order them well done next time. The breakfast food is regular breakfast food, but the quiches and homemade bread definitely were great! read more

Finally got the chance to stop in to the new location in Pinellas Park. Don't let the full parking lot fool you, there are plenty of tables. The menu doesn't lie. The Quiche is great! Local chain of only three. Breakfast and lunch only. A bit expensive compared to other all breakfast/lunch places in this area. Tried the chunky deli soup--tasted very good ----kind of like cabbage soup. Hubby had the counrty sausage benedict....I liked the hollandaise sauce....very true to betty crocker style..nice and lemony. The wait person had no problem with a substitution of an english muffin for the biscuit in his order. The staff are all very nice. It was packed on a Sunday morning but our food came out fast and fresh. With the sausage bene came a delightful bowl fresh fruit. We want togo back and try more itms off the vast menu. Last Sunday, 3/13, we had a reservation at 10:00 for 13 people to celebrate mother's 91st Birthday. Brooke was our waitress and she did a fantastic job getting us settled in, taking our order, delivered our meal without a hitch and kept the coffee and drinks coming. Breakfast is my favorite meal and Benedict's delivered. As mentioned by others, the menu is extensive with lots to choose from. I had the western omelette which came with a large portion of home fries and toast. I also ordered the fruit waffle which was also delicious. The portion size is enough to feed for two meals so we asked for boxes to take home what we couldn't finish. You will not leave this place still hungry. Will definitely make the trip from Brandon to eat here again. read more

Such a wonderful hole in the wall family restaurant! I was so excited to post about this place because it's hidden on Park. Their food is upscale and FRESH!! So happy we found this place. Drive on by, Save your self the time and stress don't go in. We have gone in many times with it was called Emily's. That was good. So we had company this weekend and thought ok lets give the new and improved version as shot. Terrible. The sit any where you like was fine with the 4 of us. We sat and were promptly forgotten about. Here's you menu I will be back. Were did she go? We finally ordered when she came back from who knows where. I said its breakfast how can you mess up eggs. Well I found out its easier then I thought. I ordered cornered beef hash and eggs white dry toast. My cousin ordered eggs over med and NOT crispy bacon. My husband ordered the same. We got food yea. But no toast to go with it. None of us got any. My cousin asked for hot sauce. The waitress asks what kind give him a few different kinds. He tells her what kind he wanted. And we wait. Still waiting on the toast now. My hash was hot very hot my eggs were Luke warm and getting colder while we wait for the toast still. She brings back a tiny bottle of hot sauce, not the kind he asked for but at this time we will take it. No toast still Wow finally toast. She gives all of us toast, Mine was not white dry, as I asked. I requested white dry. She says she will get it right out to me. Now my eggs are cold, remember they were not hot or warm to begin with. I get the white toast, I'm not even wanting to eat at this time. Frustrated, its breakfast after all. I ask my cousin's how as there food? My cuz says the eggs are too runny not over easy, and the bacon is not the way I asked. Her husband said his was the same and the potatoes were raw. My husband is just happy we got to eat. The bill comes, it is over quite high for what we got. We ask why, the bacon they ordered is extra not part of the eggs package. Ok what ever it is it is. But she should have told us when we ordered. Not that it would have mattered they would have gotten it any way. The waitress only came back to the table one time. By then we had finished what we wanted, cold and under cooked. And she asked us 3 who had bad meals if the eggs were ok? No they were not, but we said they were ok, but take the plates that are more then half full. Ok heres your sign they did not eat the food. I'm from Michigan...visiting sister who lives in Florida. We went to breakfast here at least 5 times in my 3 week stay. Yum. The scrambled eggs are just that...no yucky whites thru the eggs just yellow fluffy eggs...yum! The bacon and ham is really good.....the sausage links...meh. Service was great. Friends of ours who are friends of the owners,Ali and Nadine-(which we are now friends with as well) told us about the grand opening. We went the first week they opened..... And now we are regulars... Meaning we are there every week-sometimes twice in 1 week. Haha. The people and food are that amazing !!!! Every time we go we ask for our favorite server,who is now... Yes you guessed it-another friend as well. Mariola is absolutely wonderful. She's always friendly polite and on top of everything. You ask for something -you got it. Drinks are always full. Food comes out as ordered and hot. I love that we found this place. The service and conversation's are always genuine and real. Benedict's is our go to resteraunt. Great homemade food- wonderful staff. And we are proud to say we are friends with the crew. It's not fancy or snobby-its just down right good food and good people. Got the corn beef hash with fruit and toast. Got the meal. Corn beef burnt and they gave me potatoes which I didn't order, burnt also. Then had to ask for my toast and fruit. I had to ask what my corn beef hash was. Because we didn't know that's how burnt it was. Not a good experience. read more

I've had the pleasure of trying out this new location twice in the last 10 days. Once for breakfast and once for lunch. I've never been to the other location(s) so can only comment on this one. The atmosphere is great. The restaurant decor is fresh and clean. Perhaps a bit more upscale which is nice. My first experience was for breakfast with a couple my grandson's. I ordered the Eggs 'Benedict' - their menu claims they are known for. Due to the menu statement and this place's namesake - I was expecting a little better experience with this dish. The powdery taste of the, obviously instant, hollandaise sauce was a little disappointing and I was hoping for homemade. But the dish was still 'okay'. The boys enjoyed their pancakes and french toast. Presentation was on point. Everything looked upscale and was served well. My lunch experience was with my daughter and my grandkids. I had the Chicken Salad sandwich on sourdough bread. It came with fries and they were very good with a crispy coating and served in the cutest little fryer basket. Chicken Salad was homemade and much the way I make my own. It was very, very good. My daughter had a grilled chicken salad that looked amazing. Portions were abundant throughout. Another slight disappointment was the lack of homemade salad dressings. They have their house which is a raspberry vinaigrette of sorts - was really hoping for the ranch (I dip my fries) to be homemade but instead - just the basic vinegary bottle stuff. I think the concept of this restaurant is spectacular and in an area more than ready for it. It would be nice to see the owners/management personalize it a little more when it comes to the menu and the basic staples they use. Sometimes, homemade is even more cost efficient as well. This restaurant is very near my home and I will, no doubt, be a frequent flyer there. I'll just sneak-in my own ranch, haha. ENJOY!!! read more

Hubby and I have been to breakfast there about six times pre-Covid. We always had good food and friendly service. Sunday we went for breakfast around 10am. They have covered their outside patio area so we opted to eat out there even though there was a light rain. He had the veggie omelet and home fries, I had French toast with scrambled eggs and bacon. Everything was great as usual. I like that the bacon is thicker, not like what you get at Village Inn. I ordered my eggs soft scrambled and that is exactly what I got. Everything was clean, all staff was wearing masks, she even gave us sealed hot sauce and wiped down the syrup in front of us, we were not close to anyone else although inside they were pretty full. Hubby said this will be our table from now on because we felt comfortable sitting there (we are both seniors). The booths inside all have plexiglass installed. The only negative, and it is not their fault, is the road noise on the wet streets made us raise our voices a bit. They are going to open another location in the Oakhurst Shopping Center in Seminole and I can't wait because it is just down the street from me! read more
