We've always had consistently good quality food and service here. Today was no exception. The Mediterranean Quiche was excellent. The fruit cup that came with it was filled with really fresh, fresh fruit. I got the Traditional Eggs Benedict. Good Hollandaise and the Canadian bacon was sliced pretty thick. Sides: Very nice home fries and instead of fruit, I substituted a slice of their home made bread. The homemade bread is something that makes this place quite unique. Todays options were Cranberry Orange, Lemon Berry, Coconut Pineapple, Banana Walnut and Carmel Apple. We got the Coconut Pineapple and Banana Walnut. Both were spectacular, moist, lightly toasted, great flavors. I could make a breakfast of just getting one slice of each flavor. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Music. Interesting music station playing. I heard everything from Led Zeppelin's Black Dog, to Torn Between to Lovers to The Train They call The City of New Orleans. I liked the wide range of music[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. Gabriel is a great server. We've had him before. It definitely says something about a place that can retain servers over a period of time.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]This place is a very clean and nice breakfast place with a lot of traditional options but also some more unique ones![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The omelet was perfectly cooked and very fluffy, and loaded with the fillings. The fruit side is very good, much better quality & variety than most places! I also really liked the breakfast bread, which they had many options for but I went with the coconut pineapple. The service was great as well and very quick. Overall a great place for breakfast or brunch!

Julie our server was friendly and helpful. Here for the first time today. Wife had sausage eggs and pancakes. I had bacon eggs and French toast. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Everything was delicious and the place was clean and well organized.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My only problem is they don't serve hash browns. Oh well.

Staff was great, food was sooo good. Country skillet was favorful and delicious. Traditional was good and both dishes were filling. Would go back for sure.

I had a very pleasant experience at Benedict's! We went to the Pinellas park located for the first time on Easter morning and we got seated right away. The staff were very attentive and polite. I ordered the traditional breakfast- eggs, bacon and pancakes. The pancakes were absolutely amazing, sooo fluffy. And the bacon was cooked perfectly! I also got orange juice to drink. I will definitely be returning.

Second morning in the StP/TB area and looking for some non-chain breakfast option on our way to the beach. Located in what looks like a previous fast food building, they have a variety of seating from a diner type stool seating at the bar, booths and tables. I ordered the Traditional - eggs, pancakes, and bacon, as well as adding home fries. The eggs were nice and fluffy - not over cooked; the bacon was thick and done just right, and the pancakes were standard. The home fries were NOT the usual orange fried squares, rather potatoes seasoned with peppers etc. Really liked this place - though our waitress (lady with accent) was a little spaced out and forgot about us several times.

Trying a new place that is near the theater. Great reviews and awesome looking food. When we arrived we were sat immediately. It was busy but they were very efficient After looking over the menu I landed on their Reuben and a cup of chicken noodle soup. Both were amazing. Deep flavors in the soup and the rueben was stacked on perfectly toasted rye. Deb had a quiche which she said it was just ok. Will try something different next time. Overall a solid place for some really good food and reasonable prices.

Best club sandwich I've had in ages! And it was just 9 a.m. which really endeared this Benedict location to me. The meat meat was fresh and sliced perfectly such made it easy to eat without it falling apart. The menu is extensive with something for everyone. My friend had poached eggs and an English muffins. The fresh coffee was hot. Good service, very nice and friendly service. It us over six miles from where we live but the quality and ambiance of this liston makes it well worth a longer drive. The establishment is clean and very easy to get in and out.

Well-versed on the menu and a very pleasant lady. It's certainly not a fancy place and it looks like it's been around for a while, but it's the kind of place where you might like to hang out at the bar. Everyone there seems to be friendly and you get that comfortable feeling. We had a variety of food items, some better than others but nothing below average. Really good salads, as you can see by the pictures, a nice job on the chicken wings, a BLT that was pretty tasty; the butternut squash soup was OK, pretty thick and not hot at all. One was returned to the kitchen to be heated up. There was a chicken dip that really didn't hit the spot, and the tortilla chips that came with it seem to be past their prime. As for the fried mushrooms. I found them pretty much ordinary. A nice surprise were the brussels sprouts with balsamic and goat cheese. Really really good. Overall, I would give the food about a 3 1/2 stars at the service five stars so what averages out around four stars. Like I said it looks like a nice place to hang around and have a couple of beverages and a little something to eat.

The restaurant is located behind the German club on 66th Street, a second business in the German club parking lot! Apparently, the family that has his place is from Maine and they got a lot of success brewing beer. That's success led them to start the restaurant serving seafood from a family business in Maine. We started off with a bowl of New England clam chowder and a dozen oysters. To what are whistles we got a glass of their tap Chardonnay and a beer. My wife's Chardonnay was ridiculously good! But nothing could beat those oysters - sweet with a little bit of brine, and very fresh. For dinner we got a lobster roll - they come hot or cold, with the hot coming with melted butter. We also got the fried haddock roll.... Wow! Both were fantastic! I know we overdid it with dinner.... We even got an order of the whole belly clams. I didn't think anyone in Florida served those down here! Absolutely ridiculous . In short, we had fantastic dinner and terrific beverages. I really recommend you at least try to find the place - we almost didn't go in because of its awkward location and the fact that no cars were outside. We saw the place was open and decided to have a appetizer because the Yelp review was so strong, and I'm glad we did! They had a fresh catch of grouper that day, so we decided to try the grouper nuggets. They're market price, but absolutely worth it. Even our friend preferred them over his fried fish. The batter was light, crispy, and delicious. Our kids ordered the bacon cheese fries and loved them. Just a heads-up: they use a nacho cheese sauce rather than shredded cheese, which some people may prefer to know ahead of time. Our friend from Massachusetts ordered the lobster sub (also market price) and said it was worth every penny. My husband and I split the grouper nuggets and the Philly cheesesteak. The bread is brought in from up north, and our server's recommendation did not disappoint. The sandwich was rich, flavorful, and one of the highlights of the meal. We also tried the onion rings. They use a beer batter, which wasn't our favorite, but that's more of a personal preference than a criticism. Overall, we'd definitely return if we're in the area again. The only downside was parking--$29.99 for two hours is pretty brutal. Thankfully, the food and atmosphere helped make up for it.

I genuinely like this place, but my latest visit was a gentle reminder that even the greats have their off nights. We grabbed a spot on the outdoor patio, which is great because there are tons of TVs playing sports to keep you entertained. And you're going to need that entertainment, because the vibe this particular evening was heavily operating on "island time." I started to wonder if our server had to physically row to an island to get our order. It was a very long wait just to be acknowledged, and an even longer wait for drinks. Funniest part? My beer arrived well before my water. I was incredibly parched, and while I appreciate a cold brew, I didn't exactly want to shotgun my beer just to survive the drought. The tap water finally made its grand, triumphant entrance a solid 20 minutes after we sat down. When it came time to order, we met the Upcharge Enthusiast. Here's the deal: burgers come with rice and beans by default. If you want Bob's fries, that's a $2 upcharge. I tried to shoot for the stars and upgrade to onion rings. The response? A firm, almost offended no. "Those are an appetizer," I was informed. Honestly, our server seemed to derive a bizarre, villainous amount of joy from telling me things were an upcharge. Hey, whatever brings you happiness, just take my two dollars and make the fries happen. After the drinks took a serious scenic route, the food came blazingly fast out of the kitchen, but when it finally arrived...wow. The burgers here are absolute behemoths. You literally have to unhinge your jaw like an anaconda to take a bite. I have to admit, they are undeniably amazing. One bite almost makes you forget you spent the first half of the evening contemplating drinking water out of a patio planter. Pro-tip: Bring paper money! They give you a nice little discount if you pay in cash. Overall, I still really like this joint. Every restaurant is allowed to have a rough service night every now and then, and this just happened to be one of them. I'll definitely be back although I just might pre-hydrate in the parking lot next time.

Date of Visit: April 4, 2026…read more I had caught this review about this place on-line and because of it's local, I just had to try it. From where I was I headed north up 58th St. from Central with the top down. It was one of those days. I don't usually take 58th that far, it's more like till 5th or 9th. Not all the way to 54th, it was nice drive. It wasn't long and I was in the parking area of the plaza. Never been here before but from the outside it looked like my kinda place. As I walked in I could see the wall of taps with many, many choices. Also it was only me and another, then it hit me, being spring break and all everybody is at the beach. Oh well, I sat and ordered a beer, a Pacifico to be exact. When I'm out somewhere new I like to drink something new or different from my usual. As I sipped my beer I looked over the burger menu. They have several options but I always go with a standard, cheese, lettuce, tomato and onion. Cooked medium. I also ordered something different as well. I had onion rings with my burger. My wife always gets rings and I fries. The food arrived and the first thing I noticed was the onion rings. These had to be made fresh cause they didn't look frozen. And the burger was dressed nice too. Although I am smash-burger fan I don't discriminate others. This wasn't a smash but it wasn't overly fat either. When I bit in to one of the rings, Wow. I could bite thru the ring and not pull the onion out. Great rings. Now the burgers turn. It was cooked medium just as I requested, just a hint of pink and juicy. And with the toppings cut Julian, I got some with every bite. I will be back...If you haven't already, stop in and give it a try. Peace.
