We've always had consistently good quality food and service here. Today was no exception. The Mediterranean Quiche was excellent. The fruit cup that came with it was filled with really fresh, fresh fruit. I got the Traditional Eggs Benedict. Good Hollandaise and the Canadian bacon was sliced pretty thick. Sides: Very nice home fries and instead of fruit, I substituted a slice of their home made bread. The homemade bread is something that makes this place quite unique. Todays options were Cranberry Orange, Lemon Berry, Coconut Pineapple, Banana Walnut and Carmel Apple. We got the Coconut Pineapple and Banana Walnut. Both were spectacular, moist, lightly toasted, great flavors. I could make a breakfast of just getting one slice of each flavor. Music. Interesting music station playing. I heard everything from Led Zeppelin's Black Dog, to Torn Between to Lovers to The Train They call The City of New Orleans. I liked the wide range of music. Gabriel is a great server. We've had him before. It definitely says something about a place that can retain servers over a period of time.

This place is a very clean and nice breakfast place with a lot of traditional options but also some more unique ones! The omelet was perfectly cooked and very fluffy, and loaded with the fillings. The fruit side is very good, much better quality & variety than most places! I also really liked the breakfast bread, which they had many options for but I went with the coconut pineapple. The service was great as well and very quick. Overall a great place for breakfast or brunch!

Julie our server was friendly and helpful. Here for the first time today. Wife had sausage eggs and pancakes. I had bacon eggs and French toast. Everything was delicious and the place was clean and well organized. My only problem is they don't serve hash browns. Oh well.

I had a very pleasant experience at Benedict's! We went to the Pinellas park located for the first time on Easter morning and we got seated right away. The staff were very attentive and polite. I ordered the traditional breakfast- eggs, bacon and pancakes. The pancakes were absolutely amazing, sooo fluffy. And the bacon was cooked perfectly! I also got orange juice to drink. I will definitely be returning.

Second morning in the StP/TB area and looking for some non-chain breakfast option on our way to the beach. Located in what looks like a previous fast food building, they have a variety of seating from a diner type stool seating at the bar, booths and tables. I ordered the Traditional - eggs, pancakes, and bacon, as well as adding home fries. The eggs were nice and fluffy - not over cooked; the bacon was thick and done just right, and the pancakes were standard. The home fries were NOT the usual orange fried squares, rather potatoes seasoned with peppers etc. Really liked this place - though our waitress (lady with accent) was a little spaced out and forgot about us several times.

Trying a new place that is near the theater. Great reviews and awesome looking food. When we arrived we were sat immediately. It was busy but they were very efficient After looking over the menu I landed on their Reuben and a cup of chicken noodle soup. Both were amazing. Deep flavors in the soup and the rueben was stacked on perfectly toasted rye. Deb had a quiche which she said it was just ok. Will try something different next time. Overall a solid place for some really good food and reasonable prices.

Triple Decker Club Sandwich

Best club sandwich I've had in ages! And it was just 9 a.m. which really endeared this Benedict location to me. The meat meat was fresh and sliced perfectly such made it easy to eat without it falling apart. The menu is extensive with something for everyone. My friend had poached eggs and an English muffins. The fresh coffee was hot. Good service, very nice and friendly service. It us over six miles from where we live but the quality and ambiance of this liston makes it well worth a longer drive. The establishment is clean and very easy to get in and out.

This place demands attention from the moment you walk in. My wife opted for eggs and bacon, while I went for the cheeseburger. We also shared a French toast, which proved to be the standout dish. It's important to note that this was a shared experience, as we barely managed to finish our portion. The menu offers a brunch selection that's worth exploring. Be prepared to savor every bite, as the food quality here is commendable. Service and flow are both excellent , ensuring a pleasant dining experience. While the ambiance is a highlight, it's the food that truly shines. I'm planning to return for another visit. Great experience with a twist!…read more Food 8.0 Vibe 8.9 Service 8.7 Overall 8.4 This place definitely has his own theme and vibe and it sticks to it. A straightforward menu gives a decent variety and the chef delivered on the flavor. We had the egg Benedict the Gudda grits, and the (not so) French toast. Overall, the food was delicious, but I was extremely disappointed with the "French toast" for some reason, the chef opted for not doing an egg/milk bath for their French toast, which to me is a grave mistake, who wants to dry French toast? This liberty could be excused, and tolerable for the sake of creativity and innovation, IF it was openly, shared on the menu, or by the server. However, this came to a COMPLETE surprise to me AFTER ordering and receiving it. I've never had DRY French toast, nor do I ever wish to again despite the tasty toppings and well executed cinnamon butter cream, it was still not an enjoyable experience, especially if you're expecting classic French toast. That said the eggs Benedict was phenomenal. The pork is perfectly cooked. The biscuits are light and fluffy. And the sauce was immaculate. The Gudda grits surprise me while not being creamy in the same way of grit, I've had in the past, these retained their grit structure, but it kind of melted in your mouth, providing that creamy texture and they add chopped bacon and a sweet I would guess type of reduction in just the right amount to balance the flavor of the Gudda. I do wish they had sausage and hash browns. But it's not that kind of place. My last complaint would be in the potatoes that come with the Benedict. Whatever other option, they have picked those get anything, but those ours came undercooked, and they refried them for us, and they still were just below average which for a place like this. I expected more. Overall, not a bad place. The coffee was phenomenal. I had a dirty Matcha, and it was perfectly executed. Prices aren't terrible for what you'd expect from downtown St Pete at a fancy place, so I was happy. Service was good and friendly. After I expressed my dissatisfaction with the French toast, the manager came over and offered his apologies and remove the item from my bill, even offered to bring us something else, and to have a beverage to go to make up for it. However, I was at the end of our mail and I was ready to get going with the rest of my day, so I said thank you and we departed. Overall, I will not come back for French toast but that eggs Benedict. I would definitely come back and try something else as well. Give it a shot. Just DONT get the French toast. If you like normal French toast.

What a lovely brunch spot! Stepping into Sugar Baby Cafe was a unique experience for Seminole, FL…read more It honestly gave me that trendy coffee shop vibe you would expect to find in St. Pete, super aesthetic and very picture worthy! The vibe was very cozy, clean, and hip, mixing modern design with rattan accents and a dash of greenery. It felt clean, cute, and really thoughtfully put together! Service was great. The staff was friendly, patient, and actually took time to explain popular items without rushing me at all. Loved that!! Parking is a bit limited. It is a small lot with a simple pull-in and back-out setup right onto the road, so it can feel tight. That said, I went around 11am and it worked out just fine with no hassle. I ordered the breakfast sandwich with bacon (plus $2 extra) and homemade lemon aioli on a toasted brioche bun and wow... the presentation was next level. I definitely took way too many photos before even touching it, no regrets! It tasted as good as it looks. Taste-wise, it was sweet, fresh, and super creamy with really nice texture. I also ordered the matcha latte, which was a bit disappointing. The ratio leaned heavily toward milk, making it very milky and lighter in matcha flavor than I expected. Wait time was quick, and pricing felt fair for the quality and experience. Overall, this is such a fun spot for brunch lovers, cute café dates, or anyone just wanting a sweet treat moment. I would 100% come back again!!

They have a pretty extensive menu of options, but our go to is the fried grouper sandwich with American cheese and no lettuce or tomato. Our other go to is the lobster roll. Now this go around we did notice the lobster was more shredded than it was chunks which is what we've seen previously so that was a bit of a change, but overall, it was still good. We've had the onion rings before but this go round we decided to share a side of french fries and we did ask for them crispy. They were perfect. Be prepared to wait though as this location is super small and if you come during a busy season or around that lunchtime period you're most likely going to have to wait. This is not a great location for large groups. If you have more than five people in your group this is probably not the best location for you as they cannot seat more than one large group at a time. But, one thing we did notice is that you can walk up and order to go. That's a great option to have and something we may take advantage of in the future.

When the host came out, she stated that she needed to "clear the area." While we understand the need to manage space, the request was directed at us and was delivered in an unpleasant, dismissive tone. She then said there would be about a 25-minute wait and that there were parties ahead of us, which we understood and accepted. However, we were later told that despite being on the list, we would not be seated because there was "no way to contact us" when our turn came and that we needed to remain in one specific spot. Given that no instructions or staff were present when we arrived, this explanation was confusing and felt inconsistent. The interaction gave the clear impression that we were not welcome to wait or dine there, so we chose to leave. Dining out should feel respectful and inclusive, and unfortunately, that was not our experience here.
