Each time we've gone, we've tried a different drink and havent been disappointed. They are helpful with recommendations as well, if youre not sure what to order. Their teas taste really good and boba is also good. Some places the drink are good but boba is not or vice versa. This place you can get both and be satisfied. Kid friendly drinks are available so the whole family can enjoy. We purchased a gift card and its actually digital, linked to your account with them so when you check in, it will pull it up without having to remember to bring an actual card.
I stopped by here because the weather was just insanely hot so I decided to get a refresher. They recommended I get the Mango Pomelo Sago which they say is their house drink and I have to say that it was a 10/10. It was a nice refresher not sweet, just the perfect amount and the place is not your typical tea/boba place, it's really really nice inside. If you're in the area and want something cold and tangy/ sweet I would definitely recommend coming here and meeting Warren, he was great!
Got the dragon well milk tea and their special milk tea. The tea is very light so you mostly taste milk. Not my cuppa tea but the cup and the design is amazing. I wished they had more bookmarks of the lady. The bag is soo pretty i wished it was reusuable. My friends like the mango sago here. They have book marks where yoy can write wishes and hang them on a tree. Very cute. Parking can be rough as there are lots of stores and limited parking spots. Not sure if theres underground parking
Not bad, but not anything special. 3catea is much superior, especially the mango mochi drink It's decent, and still worth checking out but it's not superior to other drink places
Located in a plaza with a few restaurants and a boba shop. Plenty of parking. Quick service with a kiosk infront. What I like about this place is they have a wishing tree. Whether you believe in it or not, there's no harm in writing your wishes down. I tried the Green Grapes Sparkling Tea. It's a refreshing drink and has actual grapes in it. Although it tasted more sparkling than any tea but overall, a good drink to try out.
Whenever I'm in Arcadia, BenGong is one of my go to spots. Their menu is quite extensive and drinks never disappoint. Parking is plentiful and free which is a nice plus. Interior is very cute, good amount of tables as I see plenty of people sit and do work on their laptops here. To the right is a wishing tree that's decorated and perfect for photos. There's also a self ordering kiosk which is great when the shop gets busy. The menu itself is very extensive and very unique. Ranging from brown sugar specials which is one of their signatures to one of my personal favorites, the sparkling series. They also have Yakult, cheese, and fruit series to order. Staff is friendly and quick as our drinks came out withing 5 minutes. (Ordered on this specific occasion) -- Peach Oolong Milk Tea ($6.00) -- Very refreshing drink, peach doesn't overpower the drink as a whole and is just a perfect drink overall. Came in their deco cups which was a plus. Mixed very well with the Oolong Milk Tea, I would recommend this drink for anyone that has trouble deciding what to get. 10/10 -- Strawberry Peach Sparkling Tea ($6.25) -- I was pretty interested in the sparkling series and this one caught my eye the most. It's pretty much as expected, sparkling tea. Similar to a soda feeling, this was a solid refresher on a warm day. Although the taste kind of went away after about an hour, it was still a decent drink to try. Definitely checking the other sparkling drinks out next time I visit. 8/10 One underrated thing about this shop is their different type of cups. Ranging from the standard size cups, to their round cups and their decorated cups. Many drinks come in the smaller round cups so watch out for that if you're expecting a standard cup. Regardless, the cups are well made and super cute and sturdy. Overall, wonderful shop with cute designs, friendly staff, and high quality drinks. You can't really go wrong with any drink here as they're all super flavorful. Highly recommend giving BenGongs a visit.
Food: 4.5/5 Service: 4/5 Ambiance: 4.5/5 Interior decor in San Gabriel one is a bit bitter than here. Special boba milk tea always gonna be my top pick here. This time I got Mochi mango and which was also delicious. This is my go to boba shop in the area.
Really enjoyed this tea spot! The fruit tea and brown sugar tea my nephew got were both really good super flavorful! The fruit tea had such freshnesss to it I'm like craving it every day ever since The location itself is really nice, modern, and thoughtfully designed. they actually have a little activity you can do while waiting for your drink. There's a tree inside where you can hang an affirmation bookmark. They provide yarn and bookmarks so you can write your own message and add it to the tree, which was so unique and rare to see a business too! I give them props for standing out like that! Overall, I liked it a lot and definitely want to come back to try more of their milk teas or maybe a slush next time.

Parking is ok but it's shared with many other businesses so it could be challenging Menu has a good variety of fruit and milk tea drinks Pricing was ok - expect to pay $6-$7+ (most drinks can be either hot (+$0.50) or cold and there are 2 sizes - regular & large (+$0.75). There are a lot of topping options - $0.75). There are ice and sugar adjustments available. Loved the online ordering - did this option and it was so fast, easy, and convenient! Service was welcoming and friendly Inside was quite small but there were a few tables and chairs Mango Pomelo Sago ($6.25) - got this half sweet and less ice. This was not too sweet but I hardly tasted any mango unfortunately. I was expecting real mango pieces but just had bits of sour Pomelo. I think I prefer the mango Pomelo Sago from Yifang more so this was 6/10 Peach Oolong Milk Tea ($5.50) was pretty good! Got this half sugar, less ice, and with boba (+$0.75). It wasn't too sweet and the barley pieces were chewy and yummy! The boba was soft and fresh. However, I didn't really taste much of the peach or oolong so this was 7/10 Overall, I was quite disappointed so I most likely won't recommend or return.
Overall, not comparable to the SG location in interior decor, taste, or service. We got the below: Oreo brulee milk tea: ran out of boba and replaced with mochi that tastes like tiny torn up bits of mochi. No tea taste. Creamy lychee: acceptable Matcha red bean: not bad, but doesn't look anything like the advertised picture Strawberry sparkling tea: not very sparkling, very sour, more like slightly strawberry tasting water I think the lady who helped me here was extremely pushy and up in my personal space to push their friends handmade press on nails. I wanted to just look and she kept handing me ones I didn't want (told her I'd just look myself, didn't want short, didn't want this or that). It was extremely annoying and her discount sucked, and I wanted her to leave me alone to look for myself. She even pushed my friend who was looking out of the way. Didn't like this experience and won't come back.
Went to Ben Gong's for the first time on a weekday after lunch and it was practically empty, which was perfect. The guy working was super helpful, service was quick, and the place was immaculate. Like... shiny clean. I got the golden sesame milk tea and hold tf up!!! 2025 Sesame Drink of the Year goes to BenGong's!!!!! I'm OBSESSED. It was nutty, creamy, perfectly balanced. I haven't stopped thinking about it. My husband got the mango mochi with additional barley, which was also good, but forget that - sesame is where it is at. Already dreaming about going back. Like... today. If not sooner.
if you're craving a milk tea, their special boba milk tea gets the job done. It's very tasty but can be a bit sweet since the boba has its own sugar glaze so I recommend 25 or 0% sweet if you typically like not very sweet things. Baristas are super nice and welcoming! good study space, seating up to 4 per table, with solid internet connection

When was the last time you thought milk tea was exciting?! This place has such unique drinks + toppings & they have seasonal drinks. Seriously, I thought the milk tea scene was overplayed and there wasn't much more you could do, but this little shop takes milk tea to a whole new level. So far I've tried the peach milk tea, osmanthus rice milk tea, tea cube special milk tea & the amber milk slush - all with 75% sugar, except the amber milk slush. I'd recommend not substituting out the toppings for their peach milk tea & osmanthus rice milk tea, because the toppings that they come with already pair perfectly with each drink. Both of these drinks tasted really fragrant and floral. The tea cube special milk tea tastes almost like chocolate (if you don't sub out the type of milk tea - I saw that other patrons ordered the tea cube special with jasmine milk tea). The amber milk slush is really something else, a jumble of toppings (from what I can remember: peanuts, watermelon cubes, popping rice balls, sago, tea jelly) with milk slushy as the base. Everything I've tried so far was mindblowingly good. Can't wait to come back to try the rest of their menu. Bonus: I came on a Saturday evening and there was a full team of bobaristas (like 4-5 people) behind the boba counter, everyone was super helpful and nice, and overall great vibes from the staff! read more
Gold Black Sesame Milk Slush & Mango Pomelo Sago!!! I've been curious to try this new boba shop and I will say I was a bit disappointed. I ordered the black sesame slush with boba. The flavor was good but it was not a slushy texture at all and it was just black sesame milk instead of the slush I wanted. As I was drinking it could hear a noise and then when I finished my drink I saw pieces of ice at the bottom of my cup so I already knew they made my drink carelessly. I will say it looked pretty on top with the gold dusted black sesame seeds. The mango pomelo sago did not look like the picture and was more coconut than mango. The mango itself was not sweet and a bit bitter and my mango pieces had vines in them. For the price I'm paying I expect better quality. Only good thing I can say about this place is the boba was great. I should have made a wish on their wishing tree for a great drink. read more

This afternoon, I drove an hour more to try their milk tea, very disappointed. The service was horrible, a girl with short hair showing her belly button took our order and had terrible attitude. I ordered peach oolong tea first, and when I had a question to ask her, she immediately interrupted me and asked me what percentage of sugar I want. I answered her, I wanted to continue ask the question and she interrupted me again ask me what else I want. I wanted to ask my friend what she wanted to drink, the cashier was very impatient and asked me about the sugar level. Besides the service, the milk tea here is not good. It can be said to be the worst milk tea shop I have ever had. I wouldn't care if it wasn't for the bad service, but the bad service and tasteless tea made me pissed off. Won't be back. read more

I'm a conservative boba tea drinker. My go to is the house boba tea. As a return customer, this place delivers. This time, going with my adventurous friend, she got the grape seed cheese slushy, it was so refreshing I had to try the slush menu. The cheese flavor surprisingly not overwhelming, just adding a hint of umami in a refreshing yet light sweet and sour summer drink. Highly recommend for a hot day. read more

I got 4 drinks from this place. 2 were the same drinks and 2 were different types of fruit yakult teas. The strawberry peach sparkling tea was okay, but I wouldn't get it again. It tasted lightly of strawberries. There wasn't much of a peach or tea flavor. There wasn't much carbonation either, which was fine, but I was expecting more flavor in general. We got a strawberry and a mango yakult. I'm pretty sure they use real fruit, cuz the strawberry yakult had a ton of seeds in it. They also tasted like it had real fruit instead of a syrup. Both were alright. Here was my gripe with the drinks. They put aloe or some sort of chewy flavorless balls in the drink. I would have asked them to remove them had I known, but it wasn't in the description. If I were to go back, I'd definitely have them removed. I do like how the drinks aren't overly sweet, but I'm not super eager to go back. I gave 4 stars because I think the drinks are good quality and can see why others would like it. I think if I go back, I'd definitely wanna try one of their milk teas or something. read more

This place was pretty busy, but you can get to order your drinks pretty quickly. The size of regular drink was smaller than I expect, its the tall size of starbuck coffee. The sitting area was kind of small, about four to five tables. I like their boba, it was soft to chew. I ordered Jasmine boba milk tea, with 25% sweetness, the flavor of Jasmine wasn't that strong, I will try other tea next time. read more

This is a great new boba find in the SGV area! We'll definitely come back for the excellent drinks and beautiful cups! We went on a Saturday afternoon, and was one of the first orders. Right away we were impressed by the store's aesthetics including the wishing tree and traditional style arts throughout the store. We got two drinks from their top menu, and they were definitely worth the drive here. Peach oolong milk tea was beautiful with a hint of peach and the great texture of (I think) popping barley. It's hard to do peach milk tea right, but the peach and oolong flavor came through on this one. My favourite was the burnt caramel cheese milk tea. The caramel top is fragrant and added a layer of complexity to the rich and creamy milk tea. The store is neat and organized, and the staff were friendly and made the drinks quickly. We'd love to come back and try other drinks. Highly recommended!!! read more

I had their signature burnt brown sugar boba, and it was really bomb! The cream cheese they used was a perfect touch with the brown sugar sprinkled on top. Would definitely recommend for first try. And the whole decor and vibe is really nice and chill. 10/10 would take my friends read more

Talked to a woman on the phone Saturday 01/08/2021 at 3:28 I was trying to call to order for pick up but the woman on the phone was dismissing me because they're busy. I tried to order the special boba milk tea, which was my favorite, and she proceeded to tell me that they don't carry special milk tea in their store. She told me, we only have jasmine, oolong, black tea, etc, and none of them are named "special". I proceeded to tell her that I've ordered special mt a few times from the store and it's on your menu. She asked where did I see the menu from. I said yelp. She said don't trust yelp. I was so confused at this point because I've ordered it at the store and it's in their menu AT THE STORE. The person on the phone was trying to make me feel insane by telling me that they don't have their best seller?? She then told me to order online instead. I said ok and hung up. I went ahead and tried to order from the website and guess what? "Online Order Coming Soon". What a way to tell your customer to go screw themselves. A few of my friends and family heard this conversation because it was on speakerphone, and they're as upset as I am. Seriously, you need to train your staff better. This is not a reflection of professionalism. It's a shame when a customer knows your menu better than a paid employee. read more

Tried BenGongs for the first time for the Yelp Community Event and found it super cute. I wanted to get a drink that can't be easily found anywhere else so I got the tiramisu special milk tea with boba, and in general they had pretty unique menu items. I personally like my drinks sweet and creamy and this definitely did not disappoint! The boba was warm and tasted fresh and the drink itself was fun to mix and pretty to look at as well. We also came here to study, which was a great experience, with free, reliable wifi available, a few tables along a bench with outlets, and an overall nice interior. It is a little small inside, but parking was easy to find in the plaza parking lot at 5pm on a Friday. Overall, nice experience with read more

The bonsai boba milk tea I got was so addicting, I couldn't even put it down! It wasn't super sweet even though I asked for 100% sugar. Very creamy and the boba has a sweet after taste and very chewy! I will definitely come back just to try their other flavors!(: read more

Black Gold sesame milk slush and Mango Pomelo Sago are both so good!!! Also their other tea flavors are outstanding too (my friends ordered purple taro boba milk slush, strawberry cheese slush, brown sugar boba tea and said they really liked them). Their teas often have a strong aroma and are so refreshing. The inside decoration is so genuinely creative. The wish tree is such a brilliant idea! Highly recommend this ice tea/Boba tea/milk slush place. read more
