We ordered the Rose Lychee slush, seasonal Yuzu tea, Strawberry milk tea, and Black Sesame slush. At 30% sweet, all drinks were still very sweet and maybe equivalent to half sweet elsewhere. I would opt for even less if it was an option. The fruits and ingredients were very fresh and vibrant in the drinks. The quality is definitely there. Very good service. TP Tea and its further expansion into Arcadia! Still on its soft opening, but has certainly been a hit delivering the crowd. Service was speedy despite their online pre-order wasn't open yet. Huge cup size and I did wish there's smaller option available. Another cozy minimalist spot to hang just added in the east. Nevertheless, their Tie Guan Yin's still my kyrptonite that kept drawing me back to it despite the desire to try something new LOL. So fragrant tea flavor with just right creaminess. Ordered the Tie Guan Yin (aka Iron Goddess) Milk Tea with Boba with no ice and 50% sweetness. I chose it because it is one of their recommended teas. Personally I didn't think the tea was very strong. In fact, it was not really giving Tie Guan Yin for me. It tasted like the milk masked the floral notes. I give it 4/5. The boba was not bad, though. It was slightly chewy and on the al dente side. If you like your boba with a bit more of a bite, then you might like it. Service was fantastic. I came on the second day of their soft opening and there was a line but it went quickly. The service representative was very knowledgeable and answered my questions regarding which drinks will not be full if I chose no ice. The milk teas will be filled if you get no ice, but some of the fruit teas if not all of them will have a gap if you get no ice. The interior has some seats available for you to enjoy indoor, but they are spaced very closely. I might come back and try a different drink next time. read more

I ordered the lychee Fruit tea with aloe, they ran out of aloe and offered lychee jelly (nothing too different than other shops). I also tried a milk tea with boba, the boba was flavorful and not too chewy (fresh!) but the tea wasn't strong, felt a little weak for me. Overall was not memorable drinks for me. Been anticipating this spot for months, and the wait was well worth it! I came during their soft opening, and it was busy but well-staffed. Some items weren't available at the time which is understandable for a soft opening. No soft opening specials offered at this time. I ordered a Taiwan Classic Milk Tea 50% sugar with boba, QQ noodles, and grass jelly. My boyfriend ordered a TGY Family Milk Tea 50% with coffee jelly. Light ice for both. Textures and flavors were great, and portion size is good for the price. The drinks are a bit heavy for me (I need a break after a few sips), so I recommend ordering with less sugar or regular ice to balance it out. Parking is easy to find in the dedicated lot. Location is good, close to the 210 freeway and other businesses like Starbucks, ramen shop, etc. There is some seating, but it's more for a casual hangout and/or stop-and-go than a workspace. Friendly staff. I recommend this place and will be back to try out more drinks! read more

Checked out TP Tea in Arcadia during their soft opening! Overall, the team is running a remarkably smooth operation--the lines moved quickly, and the staff was super friendly and attentive. We ordered two drinks, and while one came out perfectly to order, the other had a quick mix-up (got the Tie Guan Yin milk tea instead of the plain Tie Guan Yin tea). Completely understandable for a soft opening, and honestly, the drink was still delicious! Drinks came out on time, and you can tell the staff is working hard. Came during the first day of soft opening and tried the Jasmine Green Milk Tea and the Fantastic Fruit Tea. The Jasmine Green Milk Tea at 30% sweetness was my favorite--it was refreshing, creamy, and had a nice jasmine flavor without being overly floral. The sweetness level was perfect for me. Next time I'll definitely add boba! Although refreshing, I wasn't as big a fan of the Fantastic Fruit Tea. It ended up being a bit too sweet for me, though they had run out of the Sunshine Fruit Tea and substituted it with another option, so they may still be working out the recipe and sweetness may have been 100% instead of the requested 50%. But the staff member was very friendly :) Overall, I'm already a fan of TP Tea, so I'm excited to finally have a location in the SGV! I'll definitely be back to try more drinks. Parking was easy with plenty of free spaces in the lot. Even during the soft opening, there was a steady line, but the staff kept things moving efficiently. read more

I appreciated that I was greeted right upon entry, though. The menu is very extensive, almost overwhelmingly so, but it's more of an excuse for me to come back. I ordered the fantastic fruit tea, a strawberry milk tea (was very curious to try it with a smoothie texture), and a plain jasmine tea. Drinks came out fairly quickly, even though there were maybe 4 parties ahead of me. My only gripe is the pretty slim opening hours with closing at 6 pm. read more

OMG YAY TP TEA IS OPEN! I've been keeping my eyes wide open every time I drive by, I'm so happy it's open! The space is very clean and nice. I got the tieguanyin milk tea 15% sweet (I love that they offer 15% sweet!) with pudding. It's a pretty creamy milk tea drink and was actually sweeter than I anticipated so I'm glad I didn't get above 15%. Tiffany had great customer service, as did all the other staff members. So happy that my favorite Chinatown Vegas boba spot is finally in Arcadia! I've been a huge fan of TP Tea, so I was really happy to see one open closer to home! Unfortunately, today's drink came with a little extra that I definitely did NOT order. I was drinking my usual strawberry blended milk tea with pudding 0% sugar when I felt something weird in my mouth and had to spit it out. It turned out to be a bright blue, hard piece of plastic, almost like a stiff brush bristle or polypropylene/sack thread. Thankfully I noticed it before swallowing, but finding a hard piece of plastic in a drink is obviously pretty concerning. I had already left by the time I realized exactly what it was, so I wanted to flag it here in hopes that the team can look into their prep/cleaning equipment and make sure this doesn't happen again. Currently, it's in the soft opening phase and it did not disappoint! It looks so different from former Tastes store! Way more open. Clean interior, friendly staff, but limited menu at the moment. However, that didn't stop me from ordering some favorites. I got the Tie Guan Yin MT (80% sweet) with boba and Strawberry Smoothie (100% sweet). The good - the sweetness level is definitely less sweeter than you would imagine, but it's perfect for those who love less sweet. The boba is bouncy and abundant, more servings than usual. The bad - I was expecting their popular drink, the Tie Guan Yin, to be exceptional. I still think Boba Pop's TGY is superior. Maybe I'll try 100% sweetness and see if that'll help. The boba has little to no flavor but the tenderness and bounciness offsets the lack of flavor. It's not terrible, but I guess since I ordered 80% sweet, I was hoping the boba would at least give the drink more sweetness. Overall I'd come back for sure! read more

As we were leaving the AAA office, we noticed that TP Tea was finally open. Wanting to try out the new tea spot our small group stopped by to order a few drinks. We understood that they are having their soft opening and took that into consideration when we ordered. The young lady who took our order was extremely polite and patient with our questions. We appreciated that, when asked questions she didn't know the answer to, she didn't just make up an answer, she politely asked us to wait a moment while she asked. The shop wasn't crazy busy, but there were other customers; yet, our drinks were ready within a reasonable amount of time for a soft opening. Each member of our group liked their tea, but there are three things that will keep us from returning: 1) They do have oat milk (for an upcharge), but can't/won't use it for their milk teas, only lattes. 2) They will not accept cash. 3) They have one of the two front doors locked, creating a hazard - not to mention it is illegal (does the fire inspector know)? Given the sticker on the door (see picture), it looks like they never plan to unlock the door. Unlock the door, take cash, and use oat milk for milk teas, and we'll be back. Another new tea spot opened in the area so we wanted to check it out. The interior is nice, minimal, and clean. We were greeted upon arrival where we saw 4 employees behind the counter. There is a screen mounted to the left wall for contactless ordering but a cashier was open so we decided to place our order with her. The cashier was nice but spoke very softly and had little knowledge or confidence on the menu when asked about a particular drink. Another employee stepped in and was much more knowledgeable about the menu and proceeded to take over our order. The soft opening was less than a week ago so I am not knocking points for the initial ordering experience. Two things made this experience less than enjoyable. One was our drink was made and placed on the counter and no one called our name. Upon ordering, they ask for our name so I would assume they would call us when it's ready? There weren't many people (about 3 people) in the cafe so it was quiet and sparse. The other thing is they have no restroom for customers. When asked, they told us to use the restroom at the sandwich shop next door. Now for the drink itself. It's a good drink - not great. The regular milk tea has a distinct flavor - probably a different leaf proprietary to this cafe. The tea overall is mild with earthier qualities. The boba chew is good and well prepared. We chose 50% sweet to which the cashier misheard us and the drink came out 15% sweet. I suppose she did us a favor as to not consume so much sugar and allowed us to really taste the flavor of the tea instead. Overall the experience wasn't bad but it wasn't great. With so many tea places in the area with more intention, customer service, and quality of product, not sure I would go back. read more
