We had a great time at Benihana with Vinny as our cook! Vinny made the time fly and was entertaining. Also, the support staff was extremely helpful and very nice. The food was extremely plentiful and I absolutely loved the fried rice. The place was packed with people so I'd recommend going there ahead of the time you desire to eat.

I eat hibachi at least twice a month, so I know exactly what the experience is supposed to be. I finally decided to try Benihana. What a colossal mistake. For nearly $50, I got rice, chicken, and zucchini that tasted like the seasoning called in sick. I've accidentally made better food when I forgot to follow the recipe. I came expecting fire, knife tricks, jokes, and an experience. Instead, I watched someone cook with all the enthusiasm of a DMV employee working overtime. The onion volcano apparently filed for unemployment. Then came the highlight of the evening--and not in a good way. A family of ten was trying to take a picture together. Instead of doing the decent thing and offering to take the photo, a staff member actually yelled at the woman for trying to get a picture of her family. Nothing says "hospitality" quite like embarrassing your paying customers. So I got up, took her phone, and took five family pictures for them because apparently the only person working customer service that night was another customer. Let's recap what my $50 bought me: * Rice with an identity crisis. * Chicken that had never met a spice rack. * Zucchini that somehow tasted tired. * Zero entertainment. * Front-row seats to staff treating guests like an inconvenience. * An unpaid part-time job as the restaurant photographer. The most memorable part of Benihana was that I ended up providing better customer service than the people collecting my money. Calling this a "hibachi experience" is generous. It was overpriced cafeteria food with a side of attitude. I would've gotten more entertainment by putting my $50 through a paper shredder and watching the confetti fall. At least that would've been worth taking a picture of. I won't be back, and I genuinely can't recommend this place to anyone. If you're looking for great hibachi, keep driving. If you're looking to spend $50 wondering where it all went wrong, you've found the place.

We came here for my friends birthday and the pricing didn't match the quality or service. Orders were forgotten or messed up. My daughter just wanted gyoza for dinner and it came when we already paid and was cold. The steak wasn't good at all. The portions are very small. All the staff looks un pleased. However The guy who greets you is very sweet and welcoming . I was charged twice for fried rice when I only ordered one and received one. I was so upset I didn't even wait to talk to someone to fix it . The atmosphere wasn't anything special but it wasn't bad .

Great experience! Great team super friendly and fun. Food was sooo good too!!

Pretty standard hibachi restaurant with good times and good food. This must be the new Chuck E. Cheese as we even went on a Monday night to celebrate my nephew's birthday and just about every other table was a birthday celebration as well. Most table and grill areas were filled with kids for birthday celebrations. That being said, it was pretty chaotic inside with kids running around and food all over the floor and loud (to be expected). Our chef was super fun and I think that's one really unique thing about hibachi restaurants as each of them have their own personality and tricks. He was so great with our family and my nephew and we had a lot of fun. The food was just as good as any other one that I've been to and a good portion.

We were in the area celebrating my sister in laws graduation. And my neice picked Benihana for her birthday. The location was easy to find on gps. There is a big Target in the lot.But the parking lot area looked a bit sketchy and I'm glad we were in a big group. We arrived early for our reservations and decided on a few cocktails. This was a separate area with a bar and sushi section. They also had a few mocktail options as well. We ordered cosmopolitan and espresso martini and speciality mocktails. The bartender was friendly and answered our questions about the drinks. He even offered suggestions. The drinks were plenty strong. As soon as our party arrived we sat as a party of eight. Everyone ordered from hibachi option. Our chef was entertaining and even made my mom laugh with his corny jokes. He made sure to highlight the birthday girl all night and I know she loved that! I don't remember his name but we called him Mr. Guapo all night. All and all great experience in not sure if I'd be back unless it was for a celebration.

Absolutely horrifying experience at Benihana yesterday we came in for my younger brothers birthday and two of the young adults we had at the table took advantage of the coupon they handed out at the beginning of the meal which states "enjoy a complementary appetizer when you sign up " as well as online when you sign up the link says "instantly enjoy a free appetizer" we even asked our waiter Evan which appetizers counted towards it because they had a summer appetizer and he told us it was just the ones on the menu, so each of them who were paying for themselves got themselves a little thing of gyoza. At the end of the check the server and a manager came out and tried to gaslight and bully these two young people into saying that there was no was they were going to get it complementary that time and that they obviously should have understood that you can only use the coupon the next time you come in. The managers main strategy was to make these two girls feel stupid and dumb for something they double checked, so obviously I stepped in because I'm an adult and would not let him speak to them this way. I said very politely he was using an abusive tone and needed to end the conversation and walk away and he then proceeded to yell at and attempt to degrade and humiliate me! Absolutely horrifying this man tried to make me feel like I was crazy for not letting him bully my younger sister and sister in law!! What the hell Benihana absolutely ruined an experience and made it such a sour end to a great birthday for my younger brother, both girls are under 19 mind you!! Oh my goodness! My sister in law cried apologizing thinking it was her fault! so his horrible manipulation worked on her I spent twenty minutes after reassuring her that no one should talk to anyone that way even if we are misunderstanding. Horrible horrible horrible ruined the meal and I've never been treated that way in my whole life! I have screenshots and images of the coupons and wording as well because I'm scared someone else will try and make us feel crazy or stupid for this!! This is horrible Benihana fix this! you should never have a manager on staff that treats people this way at work or not at work!!!

The service was great! The Chef was amazing and funny and we had a great time! We even got our picture taken, printed out and they put it in a little frame for us! This was my first time here, my friend had been there before, but I was definitely impressed. Prices aren't bad either and the food was EXCELLENT! Thank you all for a great time!

I was dredding to come back from bad experience from last month with burnt food and exorbitant price over but still had $40 gift card that I didnt want to throw away. Happy hour all day at the lounge triggered and here I am. Hoping for the better dining experience. When I walked in at 5 30 pm, it was mostly empty at the lounge. No one was around to greet. You just sit anywhere. Very disorganized and looked dirty. Dirty tables, floors and boxes here and there. See pics. Our waiter was definitely new to this business. He was nice but way he handled things, definitely a newbie Ordered few things. Yes, it's HH menu pricing. Sake was $9 instead of $16. I had a choice of ordering from the HH menu or from the regular ones. While waiting for the food, I can see the bartender fixing an old fashioned drink. She grabs large cube of ice, bare handed. Not once, but twice in a row. How gross! This place definitely needs better management, shaking up things from cleaner restaurant, better food prep and better training. Due to the food taking way too long, manager comped us for the roll and the burger. Ended up paying with a credit card and now I still have $40 gift card. Yikes. Do I need to go back for another dreaded dinner at this lousy place or just throw away the gift card?

Such a fun experience took our daughters friend who had never been & it was truly delightful to see it again brand new through a child eyes. They have a new rewards program a plus!! The food was amazing the show was great & our table mates were a lot of fun. Service was bustling .... Zero complaints

Big score on shrimp because she is the only one that likes them.

The neighborhood that it is in has gone down hill. We had reservations for 6:30 but didn't get seated for almost an hour after that. I do like the family style seating and we had two other couples at our table that were really nice. The chef was fun and we love the style of cooking, we brought our kids for their birthday but with food price increases the quality and amount of food was not worth the $300 bill. This place was always fun and exciting to take a date too or meet friends when you were younger but I think I have aged out of the target market. By all means give them a try but there is some sticker shock at the end of the night.

George was a great chef and the food was delicious and it was awesome to sit with people who don't look like you but aren't afraid to sit at the table with you and talk to one another !!! That's how community should be: have everyone at the table!! The ambiance was fun, happy and inviting! Yah!!

How big of a group could this location hold?

10 per table, there's over 12 tables in the dining area. Plus the bar can hold over 40 probably.

I was in Denver to visit my friend, and I was telling her how I really liked hand rolls and so she recommended this place and it did not disappoint. We got here during happy hour when at first opened and immediately there was already a line luckily we were early so we did get seated a few minutes after arriving, and we were served relatively quickly. We got to sit at the bar and we ordered off of the happy hour menu, which was great because it had more than enough of what I wanted to try. We got several hand rolls and several of their other appetizers, but my favorite has to be their hand rolls. Their seaweed was so crispy and rolled so nicely. The rice was flavorful and their fish was so fresh. I felt like their prices were also pretty reasonable and I was more than content after having that dinner. Overall, I would put this very much on par with a place called Kazunori in LA. I heard that this restaurant has a sister restaurant called sushi Den that I heard was really good and that I will be trying out next time I'm in town. Please come try out Tamaki done if you're ever in the area the food will not disappoint. The restaurant is big with plenty indoor seating, but it will get packed and for good reasons because the food is so good!

We thought we made a mistake choosing sushi bar instead of a table because we'll have back issues. Surprisingly, the chairs had a mini back so you could lean back occasionally. And we think our experience was better because the sushi chefs would explain the origin of the fish and all the ingredients they used into each roll and order. We also got a complimentary piece for sitting at the sushi bar which was a light fried yellow tail which was so good. Service is amazing. They're attentive and check in on you often. It does take some time to get your rolls but give its time to digest. From watching the sushi chefs at the bar, they're very precise in how they make each roll. Every roll has similar proportions from the slight wasabi they use to the amount of rice and fish. Everything that we had was amazing. The hamachi and salmon sashimi felt like butter. It just melts in your mouth. The aged toro was so delicious. Even the edamame was just so good. The unagi nigiri is some of the best I've had in the state (the nigri was better than the handroll and I think it's because I love unagi so I love the ratio in nigiri form). The Spicy Tuna Oshizushi was a surprising favorite of the night along with the Crème Fresh Salmon Belly. I could've done without the wagyu but it was good. Every order does come with only 1 so order based on the amount of people that are with your party. Some items we were unsure of like the wagyu so we ordered 1 and shared a bite. Overall, I understand the hype and the reservations. But it was worth it and I'm surprised we can get high quality fish in a landlock state. Of the high end sushi restaurants in CO, Temaki Den is probably my fave.

As we were waiting for our dessert later, the owner who we've met before , with one of the servers who was carrying an ice cream mochi with a flaming birthday candle arrived and placed it in front of my husband and all the patrons broke out in sing again! Who knew this was a tradition here? The owner, who is almost always on the floor had an instant camera and too a picture of our table with the candle celebration. He made a copy for us to take home and one for nh husband to sign which will go up on some wall I had never noticed. We'll be sure to check in the walk the next time we are in. It's such a fun place with really good food. Do make a reservation these days. It's always busy, the now are only open Wed- Sat for dinner. As we were leaving on a very cold night, there weee people packed into the little entry way waiting for seats. One woman was shivering as she had just flown in from FL she said, unprepared for the recent shift back to winter today. Shocked me this morning too.

This is such a cute Japanese restaurant. Really nice ambiance. Great place for a date or to go with…read morefamily. Servers were extremely friendly and they have a button you press when you're ready to order/want the check which was really convenient. Food came out fast. My favorite sushi was probably the salmon nigiri. It was extremely buttery and fresh. Also the eel was great. I wouldn't recommend the maki/rolls as much as the nigiri. They also had a lot of options that weren't sushi like ramen, salad, rice dishes, okonomiyaki, and more. Definitely some menu items you can't get at any Japanese restaurant. I would definitely recommend coming here.

We had an amazing time with a wonderful chef originating from Indonesia, who has traveled all over the U.S. and this place is blessed to have his level of quality, skill and overall love into the food and service Loved the unique ambiance! There is a booth in a cozy corner with botanical material, and the Sakura trees decorated all around.

Went in for sushi (no hibachi) which may have been the problem. It was overpriced, rolls were…read more poorly rolled, and the staff is not properly trained. Despite the high price point, having no soy sauce ramekins, a terrible drink (only ordered a margarita because the other cocktail options are limited), and nonexistent servers- I was just hoping for the food to be correctly brought out and tasty. Nope. Didn't get that either. When they brought the food out, it wasn't what we ordered, and our server vanished. After waiting for a long time, while being very hungry, I ate of one of the pieces of the salmon nigiri (there were 3 of us and only 2 pieces of the correct nigiri- I needed to eat something!). When the server reappeared she was busy on the hibachi side doing something (we were the only table in the entire restaurant), didn't check on us, so I got up to go talk to her about the mix-up. She was VERY confused, but after re-explaining multiple times, she brought us the additional yellowtail nigiri that we originally ordered along with the salmon roll that you can see on the photo I included. After seeing what our (not so cheap) roll looked like, I was pretty much over this place and wanted to just leave. Our bill was high and included the salmon nigiri that we did not order. Once again I had to get up to go talk to the server, and explain the situation despite us having already discussed it. She instantly said, "But you ate it!", and that is what ultimately led to me writing a review rather than just looking ahead and never coming back. At this point, I am arguing with this woman trying to explain that we came to eat a meal, were hungry, couldn't find the server and inevitably ate 1 of 2 pieces of salmon nigiri that we did not order since there were 3 people and only 2 pieces of what we did order. She did not agree with me, so I left it at: we are not paying for the salmon, you can bring me the updated bill. It's rare (for me) to experience a server be so argumentative, and I've never seen sushi so poorly rolled. This place isn't it. I never want to give a business a bad review, but this is unfortunately warranted. Try literally anywhere else as there are multiple other sushi restaurants within 10 minutes of this place.
