I then called the office in November regarding the insurance plans they accepted as I was going through open enrollment options with my retirement plan. I left a message. No one called me back. I then sent an email through their website, explaining that I had contacted them regarding insurance but they never returned my call and now my open enrollment had closed . I expressed concern with their lack of follow-up. I never received a response to the email either. While Dr. Kim may be a proficient dentist, the office response to inquiries is poor. I reached out via phone, leaving messages, and I emailed their office several times to try to understand where this charge originated. Rather than emailing me back or contacting me, this office sent my supposed $55 to a debt collector, who is now harassing me for the cost. I am disputing it with the collector, and it isn't that I can't pay $55 -- but I have a right to know how and why I am charged this much, months after settling my account. I found it to be a petty, unprofessional practice to ignore my messages and send such a meager amount to a debt collection company. So beware of their business practices.
