I was looking for a place to take my vehicle due to an electrical issue it was having. I came across this place and saw it was close to my residence and that it had a lot of positive reviews. I called them to see if they could do what I needed and they were able to take my car in to diagnose. They called me very soon afterward to let me know what the problem was and they were able to replace my battery and alternator the same day and for a very reasonable price. I'm so thankful to have found this place and that they were able to get my car back running so quickly. Previously I had a favorite place to take my vehicle but this one was so much closer. This is the second time I went to Benny's. They are honest, down to earth people and provided excellent service. The first time I went there to get my car door handle replaced. The second time it was my car brakes that was squeaking and needed fixing. Pep boys gave me a hefty $250 quote for something they inspected visually and did not know the actual reason. Their 'standard' protocol is to replace brakes and perform lathing - platinum package they said. Benny's inspected for free and said that it was just brake dust that collected and needed cleaning. Everything else was fine. For $25 the simple problem was fixed. I would definitely go to Benny's in the future and recommend to anyone who is looking for honest and quality service in auto repair. read more

You will never believe what happened. I was an overseas student who came to his shop to fix the car. First, there was something wrong with the engine. Then I went to the 4s shop and changed gas cap for 50 yuan to fix this problem. Then I'm going to do the smoke test, he said the good before I go to do the test must go to his shop, but he said not ready yet, every time go to I kept running increase my miles, the third is to he told me that my computer is broken, then I go to my friend check in the store, he put my computer lock, want me to pay him $250 to fix this problem, my friend help me solve my computer lock to detect directly through the smoke test. This means that they reviewed my car out of pure and utter courtesy. It was rather easy to establish and feel a sense of security about this business. If I could give a 0 star rating I would. Took my car in for simple maintenance such as spark plugs, coolant flush and a new thermostat. Took 5 hours to finish and $75 for basic maintenance. I've done this maintenance multiple times but my apartments I moved to don't allow me to do any car related work. Replacing the thermostat alone should be a at max. 10 minute job. And my car is worse after bringing it to these clueless people. Over night it started to leak all the coolant I just bought to be put in. Took it in the next day to have it looked at and hopefully fixed. They confirmed that THEY broke the water pump and they would charge $470 to replace it. I went to go speak to Benny and pick up my now broken car and he was blaming me for breaking my car. Didn't offer to help fix or make a deal on price. Whatever you do don't come to these people. They upcharge you and don't work with your hours at all as they told me it'll take 21/2 hours max. read more

Based on a friend's recommendation, We had our 14 year old Honda, Lady Grey, towed to Benny's on Saturday for our 9:30 AM appointment. We prayed all the way that the repair cost would be low. She had steam coming out from under the hood and the engine light came on once again. We were freaked out cause she's had some costly repairs done for the past year or so. And we've exhausted our savings trying to keep her on the road. After all, she is a Honda and we know she'll go the distance. We dropped her off being hopeful from all the reviews we've heard and by noon, Richard called with good news. She was fixed and the cost...a whopping $85. And mind you, they close at 12 on Saturdays. The owner, Benny and his son, Richard are very honest, kind and very patience to when you ask so many questions about your car.
