From sticking to a schedule, even after shipping and parts problems, and taking on a massive project that was quoted as a motor swap, ended up being a complete motor rebuild. Steve went above and beyond and his level of dedication and skill is of master quality. Steve was able to complete the rebuild and swap in less than 5 full days. I can't say enough good things about Ali and his amazingly talented crew. I have been to Imports & American several times and each time it is literally hundreds of dollars off what others would quote. I have done everything from an engine replacement to repairs from an unfortunately stupid off-roading excursion in my Audi (this is why I shouldn't have nice things but I digress) as well as a whole list of performance issues fixed when I thought the car was on its last hurrah. Chris has the unfortunate task of putting up with my laundry list of awful things I put my poor car through and each and every time I get out of there with a car that feels brand new. It's beyond just super talented mechanics that actually care. It's the integrity with which they perform their work with that will dazzle you. Whether your clutch hates you or you got an A4 airborne (sorry Chris, won't happen again) or your tensioner failed because you bought a car without inspecting and blew up your engine requiring a full replacement, you're not going to believe them when they give you a quote. You'll be like... naw bro seriously. Give it to me straight. Yeah well, every time. I had a door on my Accord that stopped opening. You couldn't open it from the inside or outside. I watched a few youtube videos that said this was common for both Accords and Civics from 98-02. I then called the Honda dealer and they said that since it wouldn't open, it would be at least $500 to get it open and working properly. They made it sound like it would be this big pain in the ass to work on my car. I then called Imports & American Auto Service and they said they could do it no problem.
